Dr. Elysia Belva is a native Chattanoogan. A graduate of Chattanooga Central High School, she also attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She attended dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN where she graduated with high honors.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Tennessee Dental Association, the Chattanooga Area Dental Society, the American Association of Women Dentists, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Belva takes pride in providing highly individualized care to each and every patient. She takes the time to consider all specific details, individual needs, and treatment options and discusses them with her patients in detail. She wants her patients to feel as informed and as comfortable as possible with their dental decisions. Dr. Belva also works very hard to ensure that she is always up to date with the latest techniques and standards of dental care.
Infection control is imperative in our dental office. To protect both our patients and ourselves, we strictly employ and maintain sterilization processes recommended as standard by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the American Dental Association (ADA).
We accept cash, check, and any major credit card companies. If you have dental insurance, an estimate for treatment will be given before any procedure is performed. Payment options such as CareCredit are also available for patients who may want or need an alternative source of financing.
Prevention and Maintenance are important teaching tools we use to educate our patients. We believe it is very important for our patients to know how essential it is to maintain a healthy mouth, and we work very hard to help provide the knowledge and tools to help them do so.

I had not been to the dentist in longer than I care to admit so I was very nervous. Dr. Belva and her staff are so patient, kind and encouraging.

Our Family had a great first visit with Dr. Belva ! We really like her and her Staff Melanie and Donna also took great care of Me and my 3 kids , Highly recommend this staff for your Dental needs

I just started as a new patient today and I am very impressed. Everyone I met was amazing, from Melanie at the front desk, to Donna who gave the most gentle, yet thorough cleaning, and finally to Dr. Belva. Without a doubt, the best dental experience I've ever had.

I've been seeing Dr. Belva for a little over a year now and I do not have a single complaint. Melanie is amazing! She makes everything so much easier breaking down the work with the insurance. There has NEVER been a surprise with my out of pocket expense. Susan is hands down the best. She has always been down to earth and genuinely cares about her patients. She for sure goes above and beyond! Olivia cleaned my sons teeth and we all know how 16year olds can be but she has managed to talk him into flossing everynight!! Last most definitely not least Dr. Belva, I came in terrified from past experiences and she has made me so comfortable and I cant believe I am saying this but I look forward to going to the dentist !! She is so kind and so trusting! She makes sure your comfortable and explains what she will be doing every step! She checks to make sure you are ok and you truly trust she wont put you in any pain or discomfort. Embarrassingly ive had a lot of work done the past year but Dr. Belva has given me confidence again.THANK YOU!

From the moment you walk in, Melanie is wonderful. She is the one you will see at the front desk as well as the person who answers the phone. Then, you see Olivia...she is an awesome dental hygenist...very sweet and takes her time to make sure you are CLEAN! If you are like me and need a crown or just a cavity, you will have the privilege of meeting Susan, Dental Assistant, and Dr. Belva. Susan is great and definitely knows exactly what needs to be done when assisting Dr. Belva. And Dr. Belva is the best dentist I have ever seen. I used to hate going, but after needing a crown and a few cavities filled, she showed me how a great dentist can do the job in a way that you won't be scared. I didn't feel the shot WHATSOEVER and that is the one thing I hate the most! So you will definitely want to choose this dental office for all of your dental needs. They are knowledgable, all of the ladies are beautiful both inside and out AND they are just genuinely good people!
