I started Elwood Avenue Dental with my patients in mind. Our goal is to make dental visits fun, comfortable and accessible. To that end, we are committed to offering high quality, state of the art dentistry in a modern setting. Our office is conveniently located, we offer flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays. Additionally, emergencies are seen same day. We place a heavy emphasis on prevention and patient education while offering comprehensive dental services.
Dr. Salayta double-majored in biochemistry and neurobiology at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California. Dr. Salayta is an OKU member, awarded to thetop 8% of the graduating dental school class. He is a former part-time clinical associate professor in the department of Oral Diagnosis at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
As a second-generation dentist, Dr. Salayta is passionate about his profession and has supported an ongoing commitment to education so that he can best serve his patients. He is a frequent participant in dental mission trips having completed over seven international dental missions. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Schuyler Pracht is an advanced educated general dentist. She attended Oklahoma State University before receiving her doctorate at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where she was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence award. She continued her education at the University of Oklahoma where she attended a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Dr. Schuylers advanced training has provided her with the knowledge and experience to offer patients a comprehensive treatment plan catered to the individual needs of every patient. She is dedicated to continued education and provides her patients with a gentle, caring, thorough approach to oral health. She loves working with patients to accomplish an end result that makes both her and the patient smile. She is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Schuyler grew up in Lindsay, Oklahoma in a dental family. Her dad has been a practicing dentist in Lindsay for over 40 years, and her mom has worked as his hygienist for almost as long. She is the middle of two sisters. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, wakeboarding, skiing, and cooking with her husband. She has two dogs, Trap and Toast, that keep her busy, active, and go everywhere with her. If you see two German Shepherd mixes hanging out of a car around town, its most likely Dr. Schuyler. Give her a wave!

The staff is great. I recommend Elwood Avenue Dental, especially if you have anxiety about going to the dentist. After listening to my concerns, no one made me feel bad for being a wimp, but instead provided excellent care without stressing me out. They explained what they are doing so I knew what to expect. I also appreciated the home care instructions because preventative care is the best care.

We recently moved to Jenks and wanted to find a dentist closer to home. I was very impressed by the reviews for Elwood Avenue Dental. I have to say, I was not disappointed! The staff is so friendly and fun. I got a thorough cleaning from Laura, and Dr. Salayta found the beginnings of a cavity that had not been identified earlier. I think we've found our new dental home!

I've been through many dentists but I think I finally found my best dentist, the staff are very welcoming and professional the clinic is super clean and dr.Salayta is very knowledgeable, experienced and kind I was a bit anxious before a procedure but he explained every step and was extremely patient.
