If I could rate this place a 0 I would. Generally speaking I had never had issues at this dental office in my months of taking my child there. But when I went in for a tooth extraction for myself my experience with a dentist here was extremely unprofessional. Asking a pt if they like it rough is extremely unethical. When I called to complain the office manager just told me she would talk to him. I asked for someone higher up to speak to and I got push back, gaslighting at its finest. "Why would you want to do that? I told you I would talk to him to make sure he knows that's not ok"..... never going here again and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The Dental Hygienist Carrie and her assistant Juan were very professional and courteous. I felt very comfortable and at ease the whole time I was there. I was extremely satisfied with my visit. Can't wait to go back.

Great service! Staff has great work ethic at following up with appointments. And if you make cancellations, they ensure a rescheduling to accommodate your schedule. All around wonderful hospitality.

I've been coming here for 8 years and the staff is always very friendly! Getting teeth pulled out is never fun but the tech and the dentist made sure I was comfortable during the whole process

Beware!!!! Went in to have tooth pulled. Didn't want a crown/implant. I wanted the tooth pulled a.s.a.p. I was in severe pain. Waited 2-1/2 hours...the little house on the prairie dentist REFUSED!!!! Money in hand..in need of relief but the dentist refused. Said it could be saved...for $3,500.00+++++ I don't have $3,500.00+++++ to do this. The office manager asked me to 'PLEASE GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE AND A DOCTOR WOULD BE IN TWO DAYS LATER WHO WOULD DO THE EXTRACTION'. The office manager went and talked to the dentist and all of a sudden he said he would do the extraction. THANK YOU BUT NO THANKS!!!! THIS INSURANCE I BOUGHT AT ELSTAR HAD TO BE REFUNDED CAUSE IT WAS WORTHLESS. FORCED TO GO TO MEXICO AND GOT THE TOOTH pulled for $50 USD. Filled a complaint with the individuals who regulate the dental industry. Keep your apologies. Never again!!!!!!

I'm writing this in the waiting room. It's been an hour and 15 mins since my scheduled "appointment" time and 3 others who got here after me have already been seen. If you value your time, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I never been to a dentist where I sit for 2 hours for a check up and cleaning. The first hour I just sat in a room and waited. Then finally someone came to take x-Rays. Then I was supposed to wait for another specialist. I got up and left the clinic. Never going back!

Appt was overbooked but while the Dr and Nora came in made my girls visit went smooth. Glad didn't had to use anesthetic. The Dr was very much fun. I would definitely recommend .

Excellent! Excellent! Service from the office manager Sylvia, dental hygienists Monica and the absolute joy was Dr. Alan Merta. Don't neglect your dental hygiene when El Star Dental , in Weslaco is a professional dental practice with clean office an awesome staff. Love the service!!!!
