The Omaha Family Dental team is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment for all of our patients. We realize that behind every set of teeth is a human being and that, sometimes, just the thought of going to the dentist can produce significant anxiety. Whether youre completely comfortable or a little nervous, our goal is to put you at ease and make your time with us relaxed and enjoyable.
Dr. Paul Taylor graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in May of 2001. Dr. Taylor then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in FDR Montrose V.A. Hospital in Montrose, NY. Dr. Taylor practices in all areas of dentistry and has particular interests in Endodontics (root canals), Prosthodontics (crowns, bridges and full and partial dentures) and Oral Surgery (tooth extractions). Dr. Taylor is also Invasilign certified. When not in the clinic, Paul enjoys working out, playing old video games, going to the movies (anything directed by Christopher Nolan) and fishing up in Yankton, South Dakota where he drags his family most weekends in the summer. Dr. Taylor is married to his sweetheart, Anh and they have 4 kids.
Dr. Carlye Travis graduated from the University of Nebraskas College of Dentistry in the spring of 2000. Dr. Travis practices in all areas of dentistry, but has a particular interest in implants and treating kids. Dr. Travis is an adjunct professor at Creighton University College of Dentistry where she teaches dental anatomy and restorative dentistry courses to 2nd and 3rd year dental students. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Travis brings a calming, knowledgeable presence to her dental patients. When not working, Carlye can be found hanging out with her husband and 2 kids at the lake or around town at different soccer games or dance competitions with her family.
Dr. Chris Lippold graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in the spring of 1986. With over 30 years of experience in dentistry, you can rest assured you and your family are in capable, experience hands. Dr. Lippold practices all areas of dentistry, but has a particular interest in Oral Surgery (tooth extractions), Prosthodontics (crowns, bridges and full and partial dentures) and is certified in Invasilign. Dr. Lippold is also licensed to administer oral/conscious sedation to our more apprehensive patients. When not practicing, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Dori. Chris also likes to work out and volunteer at his local church.
Mike is our full time dental assistant. With 2 years of experience, Mike is prophylaxis and x-ray certified. Mike graduated from high school and immediately went to college for culinary arts. After many years of working as a chef, Mike decided to look into a different career and became a dental assistant. Mikes hobbies include cooking, social activities, visiting colorful Colorado and fishing.
Maria is our full time dental assistant/front desk helper/receptionist/repair woman doer-of-all-things at our South Omaha Clinic. Maria has been with us for over 5 years and is x-ray and prophylaxis certified. When not working, Maria enjoys listening to music, watching Spanish soap operas, shopping and taking care of her family.

I love everything about going to this office. I have struggled with anxiety when going to the dentist since I was old enough to remember but this is the best experience I've had! Definitely recommend!

I am in my late 50's and this dentist and staff, also a fabulous hygienist, all of them are the BEST DENTAL.OFFICE I have ever been too!! 100 percent would recommend them to all !!!! Be prepared for the best experience (I know, dentist) you will ever has.

I'm 62 an have had my Uncle take care of my teeth for years. .My situation I told this dentist office my teeth r in bad shape and told them why.. I thank-you Elmwood Dentistry of giving me the upmost respect an made me feel like I was just like any customer an didn't look down on me .You see my teeth r bad because of a substance abuse.(which I have overcome).
