Dr. Emily Bartell is the niece of Dr. Nelson. She grew up in the western suburbs and started working for Dr. Nelson as a dental assistant in 1995. Dr. Bartell received a Bachelor degree in Health Science in 2000 from Benedictine University. She went on to UIC College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006.
Dr. Bartell is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also part of the Chicago Public Schools Sealant Program, where she performs preventative dental care and educates children about dental health.
Dr. Kevin hails from the northwest suburbs where he grew up learning about healthcare firsthand from his parents, one a dentist and one a nurse. After graduating with his Bachelor degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Kevin completed his dental schooling at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since then, he has been fortunate to treat a diverse patient population across Illinois.
Dr. Kevin maintains his affiliations with the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and American Dental Society to stay on top of current dental research and treatment strategies. When he isn't doing smile makeovers, you can find Dr. Kevin traveling with his girlfriend, Lindsey, following Chicago sports, or trying to corral his two cats. He is exceptionally proud of finally being selected to the prestigious ranks of Chicago Cubs season ticket holder.
Daniel Chay, DMD completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2015. He has teaching experience as Clinical Professor at Temple University Dental School and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is passionate about continuing education and staying up to date with the latest procedures and technologies.
Peter B. Liaros D.D.S., a Board Certified Periodontist, received his B.A. in Biology from Indiana University where he was awarded membership into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Dr. Liaros received his D.D.S. degree from Loyola University Dental School. He went on to specialize in Periodontology and completed his Certificate in Periodontics in 1991.
Dr. Liaros holds licenses to practice dentistry in Illinois and Wisconsin. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Illinois Society of Periodontists and the Midwest Society of Periodontology.
Adriana G. Psenica-Yehl is a registered and practicing Dental Hygienist since 1984, and is a clinical instructor at the UIC Dental School since 2004. Mrs. Yehl has been practicing with Dr. Nelson for 24 years. She received her BS in Dental Hygiene and Psychology from Loyola University in 1989.
Louise Kopp is a registered and practicing Dental Hygienist since 1996. Ms. Kopp began her journey with Dr. Nelson in 1987 as a Chairside dental assistant. After many fulfilling years, she returned to school and obtained a degree in Dental Hygiene from William Rainey Harper College in 1996.
In her spare time, Louise enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as sailing, watercolor painting, traveling and the occasional murder mystery book. Louise shares her home life with her son Tim and two cats, Avery and Cheerio.
Crystal Fiaccato is a Registered Dental Hygienist who found a love for dentistry as an assistant in 2001. She graduated with honors from Dental Hygiene at College of DuPage in 2008. Mrs.Fiaccato has been pursuing her passion of Dental Hygiene here at Elmhurst Family Dentistry ever since. She enjoys volunteer opportunities where she can share her gift and give back to her community. In 2015 Crystal collaborated with medical professionals in the C.U.R.E Network providing free dental screenings and cleanings to a public in need. Crystal is a member of the Illinois State Dental Society.
At home, Crystal stays busy with her family. She loves attending concerts, car shows and cruise nights as well as going to the theater. She also enjoys outdoor sports all year round and spends time sharing her hobbies with her two sons.
Michelle McNamara has been a registered and practicing dental hygienist since 2017. Michelle began working with Dr. Nelson in 2005 as a chairside dental assistant. She received her BA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Psychology and attended College of DuPage for her degree in dental hygiene.
Angela graduated from the College of DuPages hygiene program in 2008 with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is Laser Certified and a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. When not working she loves spending time traveling, biking and just about anything with her husband and son, Dominic. Angela is passionate about her patients oral health and is a strong believer that creating a healthy oral environment is beneficial to a patients overal health. Angela also enjoys meeting new people and looks forward to meeting any new and existing patients.
