This office really helped me out with my difficult insurance, accepted my 3yr old son last minute (despite not being a pediatric dentist) ((they don't have small x ray mouth clips unfortunately but they can do everything else for a cleaning and exam!)) worked quick and efficiently on his mouth, gave him the best cleaning he's ever had, made it a fun experience for my 3 yr old, and gave him toys from the treasure box afterwards! Dr Villalon and the hygienist were super kind and easy to work with for me and my 3 yr old. Thank you for being so accommodating for us and giving us a great experience. My son wants to go back and loves the dentist now!

This guy can pull legal jargon but he is mean! He doesn't have any sympathy for his patients. I won't go there. I won't recommend anyone to go to him. He is rude. Pretty simple. Throw HIPA at me. I wasn't a patient. But he hurt some one close to me. He actually made her feel so uncomfortable! Go to Dr House in Pueblo West he knows how to treat patients with respect.

I wouldn't even give this Dr a one star review. It was thee worst experience I have ever had!! I went there for a filling that fell out and it's been extremely painful as well. I got my X-rays and he came in the room and told me he has to take the tooth out. I got emotional because if he took that tooth out I'd have no back molars. And I wouldn't be able to chew. He then yelled at me for being emotional. It was extremely awkward. I ended up telling the nurse how uncomfortable I was and I wanted to leave. I will never refer anyone to this place. The doctor has no bed side manner!!!

I am disturbed to see this provider's responses to the complaints shared here. HIPAA prevents sharing personal health information but does not prevent a provider from responding to general complaints about his conduct, attitude, and approach to his work. And, I might suggest he check into the difference between "do" and "due". I am writing to advise others that this is not a practice capable of or willing to serve individuals with disabilities nor is this dentist capable of being sensitive or kind in discussing these matters. When my young, autistic family member was laughing at a video she was watching to stay calm when her appointment was delayed with no information or communication, doc came out to advise that he needed it to be quiet and asked my family members to wait outside in the hall. Just a friendly, well intentioned warning to avoid this practice if you need dental care for a disabled loved one.

Horrible, horrible experience! Please save yourself any pain and suffering ahead of time and find another dentist. I went to get a molar pulled and the dentist, Dr. Villalon, claimed after only two small injections to numb my gum, that I may have to find a "specialist" to pull my tooth. I was still in pain as he attempted to pull my tooth. I could feel the tooth starting to come out, but I could also still feel everything! He was annoyed and told me that he didn't have all day to try to get my mouth numb and I would have to find someone else to pull it. He left me with no options of another dentist to call and my tooth HALF PULLED! Needless to say, this was such a horrible experience and I was traumatized. Luckily, I found another dentist by the end of the day who did numb me and successfully and easily pulled my tooth with no problem.

I've been seeing Dr. Villain since my other dentist retired. So glad I was referred to Dr. V! Mainly just routine cleanings and exams. Then I needed a crown for a cracked back molar. It was done quickly, painlessly, and professionally. I can't even tell the difference between the crown and the rest of my teeth. It's perfect. I love Dr. V and his friendly staff.

My husband called and set an appointment up for me. We showed up 20 minutes prior to the appointment to fill out any new patient forms, I finished those promptly and proceeded to wait. 20 mins after my appointment time and I sat there, watched 3 people come in after me, and get sent back before me. I sat for a total of 1 hour 15 minutes WAITING to be seen. I have got awful anxiety, and I was already feeling quite anxious waiting. I begin to look up the reviews, which did not put me at ease. I was honestly a little uneasy after reading a lot of the 1 star reviews. I finally get called back, my husband and I head into the office, the tech informs my husband that he is not allowed in the room during the visit. That makes me very uncomfortable. I let her know that, and the dentist pops his head in and says that it's office policy. I looked at my husband, and took a look around the office... it didn't look very nice. It was a little run down (foam chunks missing and duck tape on the exam chair) we left. I didn't even sit in the chair. Thank you guys for wasting an hour and a half of my time! However, I am thankful I had the chance to read the reviews. I sincerely hope that I save another patient the headache of a new dentist office to try.

Doctor Villalon is a great doctor. I have gone to him for years. I recommend family and friends to him for any dental work they may need done. He's gotten my partial within a reasonable time. And is getting me a bottom partial. I Love the staff they're friendly and welcoming.

A lower canine tooth that had been slightly loose for about five years had within the last three weeks started to hurt needed to be checked for decay and stability before replacing a worn lower partial. I made an appointment with Dr. Elmer Villalon. Maybe it was my kinky, black hair (I am Caucasian), maybe it was the cotton sweats I had on, or maybe it was having a seventy-year-old sitting in his dental chair or, maybe, it was...who knows? All I know for sure is the second he walked in the examination room Dr. Villalon was arrogant, as if I had no right to be his patient. After examining the x-ray, he said I needed a root canal only! I questioned him: I could tell the tooth needed to be pulled! He then accused me of wanting to use "the missing tooth clause", which according to Delta Dental would reduce the cost of the partial by about half! I mentioned I didn't even know about the "missing tooth clause" until his receptionist, Margie, mentioned it. He became really arrogant as if again I had no right to question him. Looking me in the eyes, he straightforwardly said I needed to get a second opinion, nuance for I am not going to help you or get out of my office! The next day, I called. Margie answered the phone. Dr. Villalon's attitude permeated her greeting. She accused me of being this-that-or-the other. I interrupted her tirade with "Oh, those words were nasty." She continued spouting more accusation. I again mentioned that her conversation was not an example of "good customer service". And if Villalon had taken two seconds to examine the gum line, he would have notice with his own eyes visible decay and also a cavity in the adjacent tooth--no x-ray needed. Overall the experience with Dr. Villalon and Margie was unprofessional, degrading and totally, totally unnecessary: no patient should ever be treated so badly! By the way, the second dentist said "the root resorption(?)" of the questioned tooth was sooo-sooo bad that the tooth could not be saved. He also noticed on his visual exam the decay along the gum line and in the adjacent tooth. I had not mentioned either!

Were these people filling pressure and mistaking it as pain? I Had all four wisdom teeth extracted and had no issues.

My experience was Great! Dr Villalon is very knowledgeable and professional. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. I have not had any TMJ issues, but I learned alot from his thorough exams, which I have not had other dentists take the time to do.
