Every patient and interaction is an opportunity to help someone. As a dentist, I can move someone out of pain, restore function to improve quality of life, make a smile more pleasing, and help the person lead a healthier, happier life. Truly, nothing could be more fulfilling!
I think of my patients as an extension of my family: I care about them and want only the best in their lives. I treasure the time we spend together, whether talking about a procedure, discussing home oral hygiene, or sharing stories about our families and experiences. Every conversation enriches my life and makes me a better person and dentist.
My team members are the bedrock of this practice. They are a group of wonderful, Christian people who work hard to provide the best care for patients. Each is a professional; each is also warm, caring, and personable. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure our patients have a positive experience and understandwe want the best for them and their families.
Since graduating from dental school Ive taken a range of postdoctoral continuing education courses. This enables me to offer the most up-to-date services and use the most advanced technology when caring for my patients.

I am excited to be part of Minden Family Dental. We are a state-of-the-art office, in a small town, that provides excellent dental care. We are a Christian family with good moral fiber, caring about each other and each patients well-being.
As a dental assistant, I set up the operatory and sterilize instruments for the procedure, then seat our patient and prepare him or her for Dr. Goodman or Dr. McConnell. Working chairside, I assist Dr. Goodman and Dr. McConnell while supporting the patient, and when were finished, I provide home care instructions. I also take X-rays and impressions, make nightguards and fluoride trays, and oversee inventory.
My passion, outside of healthy smiles, is gardening. I also enjoy camping and traveling, time with Bob, my husband of more than 30 years, and our adult daughter, McKenzie. Im a member of Crochet Unto Others, a group that creates and donates hats, gloves, and scarves to the Hub Urban Ministries in Shreveport. Im also an active member of the Haynesville United Methodist Church, where I sing in the choir and belong to the Marge Moler circle.
At Minden Family Dental, everyone works hard and loves to laugh. That creates a wonderful atmosphere for our patients and helps people understand that ours is a compassionate, trustworthy practice where they can feel safe in our care.
I handle the bookkeeping end of the business, as well as insurance. It is important for patients to be able to maximize their benefits, so I interact with the insurance companies on our patients behalf.
When Im not working, Im usually with my husband Chrisand three children: Ashley, Tessa, and Trace. I treasure time with my sisters and nieces and nephews, and enjoy teaching religion school on Wednesday nights.

Its a pleasure to help improve smiles and overall dental health, and educate people about ways they can take control of their smile. I am glad we serve such a wonderful group of people and look forward to visits as a time to talk and laugh. The best part is seeing patients smile who havent felt confident to smile in years!
