Dr. Leuchtmann is a 2010 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry and member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater St. Louis Dental Society. Dedicated to continuing his education to provide the best care possible, he consistently participates in advanced dental courses, seminars, and private study clubs with the top dentists in St. Louis and St. Charles, MO. He has received advanced training in many areas of dentistry, including CEREC same-day restorations and Invisalign. As a dentist, Dr. Leuchtmann aims to make people happy while giving them a healthy smile through excellent care with the latest technology. Dr. Leuchtmann is married to Megan, the owner of a dance studio, and they are parents to two wonderful children, as well as two dogs. Dr. Leuchtmanns interests include computers and new technology. As a sports fan, he also enjoys coaching water polo, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and FC Bayern Munich.
Dr. Alterman is a 2020 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine located in Boston, Mass. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She regularly participates in advanced dental courses and continuing education seminars to provide the best care possible for her patients. She has received advanced training in many areas of dentistry including Invisalign, implant placement and restorations, Botox for facial esthetics and TMJ Disorder. Dr. Alterman aims to create a fun and relaxing atmosphere to help patients feel comfortable at their visits. A Florida native, she enjoys traveling and cooking. Her favorite sport is football, and she loves cheering on the six-time Super Bowl winning New England Patriots.

This was my first visit - wow! What an amazing friendly staff from the front desk to everyone in the building! First, Kristina my dental hygienist was thorough, gentle on my teeth, and knowledgeable. Next, I met Brittney, my dental assistant and she made me feel quite at ease and was very professional. Finally, Dr Sara Alterman reviewed my X Rays and I needed 3 fillings. I asked if we could go ahead and take care of them right now instead of scheduling another appointment and she said sure! Dr Alterman is very talented and took care of all 3 fillings in no time. She truly practices "gentle dental" and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. It was a great experience from start to finish - I highly recommend Elm Dental Care! Patrick Flanagan

I normally feel bad when leaving dentist offices but the ladies at Elm Dental were very nice, attentive to all my concerns and answered every question I had. I really like the ladies. Customer services at its BEST!!

Friendly staff. Clean office. The hygienist was awesome! Very thorough and explained things well. The dentist came by for maybe 5 minutes so that would be my only complaint but it was just a routine check up.

This place is great! I was really embarrassed initially as I hadn't been to a dentist in years, but the staff put me at ease right away. Very friendly and the provide great, personal care.

Pleasant, friendly, helpful staff. My cleaning went faster than what I'm used to. Hardly any scraping this time which usually leaves my gums achy. The doctor gave me a high scoring review. I was in and out fast. I hope my next visit in 6 months goes as smoothly as this visit. Great job guys! Keep up the great work!

This dental clinic is beyond amazing . They are all very friendly and does their job really good. My hygienist Christina I think is her name took good care of my teeth and listened to my concerns very well. The dentist is really friendly and very informative. The clinic is really clean and so welcoming..I will not go to any other place than this!

Great office. Friendly, easy to schedule cleanings and other appointments, great patient care. I've been a patient of Elm Dental for over 3 years after being "forced to switch" by Delta Dental (Insurance Provider). The switch has been beneficial to me, in terms of the thoroughness of the care, the consultation and advisement on how to improve my hygiene and particulars of my present situation. They have an excellent fact-based, and measurement-based approach to care and have helped me tremendously.

Staff is always prompt, courteous, and professional. Lauren has been my hygienist for a long time (7 years). She must be awesome because when I started seeing her I had some serious gum issues and I haven't had any since. Thanks Lauren!
