By and large, I had a very positive experience with my wisdom tooth removal surgery! Dr. Evans and Dr. Robinson made me feel very informed and taken care of. My initial consultation was very clear, friendly, and straight forward. I was told that because I am older in age and the nature of my impacted my teeth, my recovery would last longer than the typical patient in their teens/early twenties, which I understood. During my recovery, I needed additional time and medication to manage pain and rest. Staff was very responsive and I was granted another Rx of pain medication to help me sleep and function during the day, for which I was very grateful. Sadly I ran into an issue when speaking with Tonya regarding a WFH letter I was requesting. I left a voicemail earlier in the day and received a letter about an hour later that needed simple revising in order to be accepted by my employer. When I spoke with her on the phone about the letter and my case, she asked me why type of work I did and mentioned that my recovery was beyond the typical window, in a way implying WFH wasn't needed despite the fact that I was told by everyone else in the office that my recovery would be longer than usual. This felt very unprofessional given that she is not my doctor. So basically she said it was unlikely she would hear back about revising the note until two days later (which meant my request for 3 days WFH would default to 1 day, if approved, for bureaucratic/administrative reasons alone), basically defeating the purpose of requesting WFH altogether. She ultimately never even followed up with me. I wasn't asking for time off, I simply wanted some privacy during my recovery and did not want coworkers to see me in pain, icing my face, etc. I was sad to have this experience because otherwise, my interactions with staff and doctors were some of the best I've ever experienced in healthcare. Despite this interaction, I would still recommend Ellis Oral Surgery to someone looking to have this procedure done.

Dr. Evans removed my wisdom teeth 5 years ago and it was a great experience as far as the healing! I'm glad I was recently able to be a part of his office's Botox clinic in upper arlington, and the results are incredible! Dr. Evans listens to your needs and meets them undoubtedly. His staff is very friendly, and the office is both clean and chic.

Thank you Dr. Ellis and team for an excellent experience! After the amount of work I had done the next day I was not in pain or had any swelling. I was able to drink and eat soft foods that night. No issues with the anesthesia.

I was extremely nervous going into my appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed. I heard horror stories from friends who had it done as teenagers so I was expecting the worst. I had the best experience with the team at the UA office and would recommend them to anyone. The whole procedure took less than an hour (from the time I walked in the door to the time I left, actual surgery took maybe 30 mins) and I was in no pain. It's been about a week and a half since surgery and I can say I experienced 0-1/10 pain the entire healing process and almost no swelling. I had wisdom teeth removed Friday morning and by Saturday evening, my friends did not believe me when I told them I had them removed the day before! They know what they're doing here, I highly recommend. The office also is very clean and the front desk staff was very kind.
