Dr. Randy Ellis is one of a few dually-trained orthodontic and pediatric dental specialists in the country. A native of Pearland, he attended the University of Notre Dame on a football scholarship where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the School of Dentistry and completed a residency in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Ellis practiced pediatric dentistry for 7 years before returning to UTHealth to specialize in orthodontics.
Dr. Ellis is a Board Certified orthodontist who has been creating beautiful smiles for 17 years. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontics, and the University of Texas Orthodontist Alumni Association. He currently serves as a faculty member at the School of Dentistry in the Department of Orthodontics and as the orthodontist on the University of Texas Cleft Palate Team.
Dr. Audrey Moon is a native Houstonian. After spending her childhood in Houston, she ventured to California to attend the University of California at Berkeley where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. Feeling homesick, she returned to Houston and was inspired by her parents, who are also dentists in the Houston area, to pursue orthodontics as a way to combine her love for people and passion for working with her hands.
She earned her dental degree and completed her orthodontics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontics, the University of Texas Orthodontist Alumni Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society. She is the Clinic Director and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the School of Dentistry, where she enjoys teaching residents and collaborating with other professionals.
Dr. Lacey Harris grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi, and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Polymer Science, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. She then attended the University of Mississippi, receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and graduating valedictorian of her class. She and her husband, a native Houstonian, then moved to Texas for their residencies at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Harris remained at UT Health after graduation, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. For the last few years, she has practiced in Sealy, Texas.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, the University of Texas Orthodontic Alumni Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and sits on the board for The Orthodontic Foundation.
She is married to Dr. Chris Harris, a pediatric dentist, and they have two children. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Houston with her family and their two dogs, cooking, traveling, and exercising.

Dr. Ellis is awesome! 2 kids with braces here. Office is run with laser precision. Very professional. Very nice. Dr. Ellis is extremley personable, very precise and just an all around great Dr. I would give 10 stars if possible. Give this great team a shot you won't be sorry.

This place is amazing if you are looking for orthodontic treatment here is the place to go. Everyone is super nice and friendly super informative. I have Dr. Ellis he is amazing. I recommend this place 100%!

I've gotten braces from this place about 15 years ago. My experience with them was great, initally. Super professional and nice, but let me tell you. They really messed my teeth up. My dentist told me my roots are really short because of Ortho issues. They took out unnecessary amount of teeth that now I have gaps. My teeth were fine before. I had minor buckteeth, but that was it. Now I am categorized as "stable high risk" from the dentist because of Ortho issues. I'm stable because I floss and brush twice a day, but I am at a high risk of bone loss because the Ortho moved my teeth too fast and kept my braces on too long. Every time I went to the Ortho, Randy Ellis would say hello and check my teeth for one minute and that was it. It really felt like all they wanted was the money. Now I am facing long term consequences where I could potentially lose my teeth when I'm old if I don't keep up with my hygiene. Please think about your children's future. Do they really need braces? I got braces because everyone else had one. But I truly regret it now.

Myself and my oldest have receive orthodontic care from Dr. Ellis and Dr. Moon. All of the staff have become friends and we absolutely love coming in. We are treated so well and they are always so helpful, kind, and understanding. I will forever recommend them to anyone requiring care!

I've been going here for almost a year and a half (I think) and the entire staff has been nothing but kind and helpful. I am not the same age as most of their patients, but they are helping me getting the perfect smile even at my age! All of the orthodontists are great at what they do! I plan on continuing my dental journey with them for as long as I can!

This is the best orthodontic office in the area! We went to two other offices with my first two kids and had terrible experiences with them. Finally found this office to fix what another office had screwed up with my middle kid and also have my third kid as a patient here. Love all the staff and the job they have done on both kid's teeth. Thank you Ellis Moon Orthodontics for taking such great care of my kids and their teeth!

Me and 2 of my siblings have all been treated by Dr. Ellis and his wonderful staff! Everybody here is so welcoming and friendly and they will make sure your smile turns out beautiful! I am so grateful for them because my teeth look so perfect. I got my braces off at the exact time they had predicted also! Every assistant here is amazing and so are all the orthodontists. I was seen by Dr Harris and Dr Ellis and Alexis was the assistant who treated me for most of my visits and she is so sweet and caring and amazing at her job and so is everyone else! Thank you Ellis Moon Orthodontics y'all are truly the best!! I highly recommend coming here if you are looking into getting braces.

Our kids got their braces on today, but so far their staff has been phenomenal. They have given thorough explanations of what needed to be done and why, and have taken extra care with one of our children who has a special medical need that requires a different type of braces for MRI imaging purposes. We have felt very comfortable with their office, its safety practices, and cleanliness, and to top it all off, friendly, courteous staff members. I can't recommend them enough!
