Dr. Randy Ellis is one of a few dually-trained orthodontic and pediatric dental specialists in the country. A native of Pearland, he attended the University of Notre Dame on a football scholarship where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the School of Dentistry and completed a residency in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Ellis practiced pediatric dentistry for 7 years before returning to UTHealth to specialize in orthodontics.
Dr. Ellis is a Board Certified orthodontist who has been creating beautiful smiles for 17 years. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontics, and the University of Texas Orthodontist Alumni Association. He currently serves as a faculty member at the School of Dentistry in the Department of Orthodontics and as the orthodontist on the University of Texas Cleft Palate Team.
Dr. Audrey Moon is a native Houstonian. After spending her childhood in Houston, she ventured to California to attend the University of California at Berkeley where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. Feeling homesick, she returned to Houston and was inspired by her parents, who are also dentists in the Houston area, to pursue orthodontics as a way to combine her love for people and passion for working with her hands.
She earned her dental degree and completed her orthodontics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontics, the University of Texas Orthodontist Alumni Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society. She is the Clinic Director and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the School of Dentistry, where she enjoys teaching residents and collaborating with other professionals.
Dr. Lacey Harris grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi, and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Polymer Science, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. She then attended the University of Mississippi, receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and graduating valedictorian of her class. She and her husband, a native Houstonian, then moved to Texas for their residencies at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Harris remained at UT Health after graduation, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. For the last few years, she has practiced in Sealy, Texas.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, the University of Texas Orthodontic Alumni Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and sits on the board for The Orthodontic Foundation.
She is married to Dr. Chris Harris, a pediatric dentist, and they have two children. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Houston with her family and their two dogs, cooking, traveling, and exercising.

Wonderful Staff!!!! Very friendly, they care about their clients. They are easy to work with and they listen to your concerns. I recommend Ellis Moon to everyone I know looking for an Orthodontist. Love, Love, Love!!!!

We have just started our relationship with Ellis Moon. Had heard amazing things about them and when it was time I had no hesitation on where to go. Both my girls are going at same time and everyone has been so helpful and made sure all our questions are answered. Looking forward to working with them.

Everyone at Ellis Moon Orthodontics is amazing! I came in for an Invisalign exam and am so excited to get started. The doctors are knowledgeable and ladies were so nice. I felt comfortable and I know I'm in good hands! Highly recommend them!!

I got referred by my dentist Dr.Rainwater for braces . I was nervous and excited to see what the suggestion would be for my treatment. The staff was so helpful and nice and answered all of my questions ! Dr.Ellis was very detailed and explained everything to me without leaving any of my questions unanswered . After our consultation they asked if I was off , and got my braces on same day! I could not be more happy with my decision . They gave me a cool goodie bag too lol

Ellis and Moon is the epitome of excellent service!! The entire staff made my son and I feel welcomed and were very friendly and professional. There is a time when an experience or event is on its own and cannot be compared. This was it! Thank you for doing what you do and how you do it. We can't wait for our next appointment!
