Upon reading a recent review that unexpectedly had a ring of familiarity, I felt compelled to make comment. Upon seeking alternate opinions regarding several dental issues occurring simultaneously, a number of concerns arose to my surprise and were pointed out on a series of radiologic studies to support those concerns. A plaque staining procedure revealed that a great majority of plaque that was to have been removed by this dentist's hygiene group through a recent visit was clearly still present and required significant attention, a circumstance that was visually revealing and difficult to believe. When I raised question, it was stated that the plaque was not soft-formed but rather hardened and represented formation over considerable time. A general radiologic study performed by this dentist's office drew no subsequent concern, despite a cavity existing in the lower left 2nd molar that was prominently observable following an extraction of the lower left 1st molar. Again, a circumstance that I could visually see and yet found it difficult to believe. I'll readily admit that I'm not an individual who has taken appropriate and proper care of my teeth so the problems arising are certainly not the fault of the dental profession. I posted my concerns because this dentist is by all practical standards of measurement an excellent practitioner based upon past experience and a plethora of excellent reviews. We have used this dentist for a number of years, including time spent trying to dodge the pandemic. His conservative approach to dental care represents a quality environment and confidence regarding what is in our minds excellent diagnostic skills by a dentist with well over 30 years of experience. No one is perfect and it's irrational to believe that such a premise exists. What is difficult to understand is the contrast in obtaining a second opinion that resulted in such a divergence regarding both the general condition of my teeth and the more serious concerns that were taking place at the time. We wish Ellis Dental all the very best. They're good folks and work hard to earn the trust of their patients.

We went here for several years and it has gone down hill. We stopped going because we found out they were not billing our insurance like they said they were and charging us for out of pocket costs instead. When we went to another dentist they then said that we needed extensive dental work and that it looked like we hadn't been to the dentist in years. The other dentist said any dentist worth their salt would have caught the issues earlier. Warning to not go here.

I used to have a good experience here but Dr. Ellis is lazy and his hygienists don't know what they're doing. His wife, who does the billing, is terrible at her job as well. I have to have major work done at another dentist's office because of Dr. Ellis's screw ups.

Incredibly please with this office and Dr. Ellis! They were recommended to me to me by a friend, then I sent my husband who needed to see a dentist and he really liked them as well. Everyone front the front desk staff to the hygienist to the Dr. were kind, engaging, and professional. Absolutely recommend them!
