I love my job! Running a family orthodontic practice is incredibly rewarding. Since 1992, Ive had the pleasure of helping men, women, and children achieve great smiles in Highlands Ranch and recently in Burlington. If you ask me, theres nothing quite like a beautiful smile.
As an orthodontist, I am passionate about pursuing ongoing postgraduate education. It is crucial to achieve mastery of the craft. Our approach reflects the work of the best orthodontic practices from around the world.
Colorado is a wonderful place to live! My wife Cindy and I have been married over 40 years and have four wonderful children: Andrew, Xander, Abby, and Aaron. Our family is unique because we love doing things together. We love the outdoors and are active camping, backpacking, hiking, climbing mountain peaks, fishing, hunting, cycling, and mountain biking.
I have also been a Boy Scout Leader with my 3 three sons. We have been to national bases hiking, sailing, and canoeing. I am a Level 1 certified USA Cycling coach and spend time with youth as a coach for junior road, mountain bike, and cyclocross competitions.
I believe it is important to have a balance between family, office, and community. I am committed to giving back to others what many have given to me. In the past I have been to Jamaica and India on mission trips with medical/dental groups, and I look forward to returning to the mission field in the future. We attend a local evangelical Christian church and enjoy the groups and activities available there.
We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
I have been marriedfor over 29years, and we have two children, as well as four cats and two dogs we love pets! I like water sports and beach vacations, playing golf, skiing, and fun times with family and friends. We are very involved with our church and we enjoy supporting and participating in mission trips.
I assist our patients with the financial aspects of their treatment and help them navigate through the world of orthodontic insurance. In the few years Ive worked here, Ive gotten to know many of our patients and their families, and built great friendships with my coworkers. This office is like a second family to me. We are truly a great team!
I have been married to my University of Colorado college sweetheart for over 26years, and we are busy raising four children that range in age from 11 to 17. We are a family that loves national parks: We have visited more than 38 of them in our RV! I am a native-born Coloradan who loves to hike in the summer and ski in the winter. I absolutely love football and faithfully cheer for my Broncos every year. Go Broncos!
I run the clinic with Dr. Elliott. I have been in the orthodontic field for over 20 years. I've worked in every area of an orthodontic practice and I love every moment of it! Seeing a patient's smile is a wonderful feeling. I want to make each patients experience with us exceptional from start to finish.
Life gets busy. We know that your time is incredibly valuable and you cant waste it in a waiting room. Thats why our team is constantly working to make sure our schedule stays on time. Efficiency is a core principle of our practice.
At Elliott Orthodontics, we work hard to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity toward our needs. We understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sure each patient has an exceptional experience at our practice.
At Elliott Orthodontics, we love changing lives by changing smiles! Dr. Richard Elliott has vast experience in orthodontics, having practiced for more than 40 years. He is a serious student, participating in an average of 60 hours or more of continuing education per year. His highly detailed and analytic personality makes our patients treatment go better, faster, and result in great smiles!
Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
