In our Bloomington dental practice, we always schedule out enough time to have conversations with our patients. We also like to answer your questions and help educate you about your oral health. This helps you make informed decisions about your care.

Convenience and compassion are also essential, which is why we offer evening hours and the Ellettsville Dental Center Membership Plan. This savings club allows you to get the services you need via a small yearly fee. This plan is ideal for those who do not have dental insurance.

Dr. David Compton grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology before moving on to the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1993. Following dental school, Dr. Compton practiced in Munster, Indiana for four years.

Much of Dr. Comptons time is spent with his wife and three children. He is a member of several study clubs, along with the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the South Central Dental Society. He is a past president of the Bloomington Dental Society.

Dr. Matthew Love was born and raised in Russiaville, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry. He has spent the past 20 years practicing in Florida and is happy to be returning to Indiana to be closer to his family. Dr. Love is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, South Central Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

He enjoys golfing, camping, paddle boarding, and anything outdoors. He is also an avid IU athletics fan and is looking forward to being in the heart of Hoosier Nation! Dr. Love is excited to be a part of the Ellettsville Dental Center team.

Dr. Riley Walker was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Carmel, Indiana. She attended IU Bloomington and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology and Spanish before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry. She is very excited to be back in Bloomington and joining such a wonderful team!

Katlyn received her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana in 2017, and joined the office in 2020. She lives in Bloomfield with her cat. Katlyn is a Mustang lover and enjoys music, baking, watching Netflix, and hanging out with her family.

Zoe received her Dental Hygiene Degree from University of Southern Indiana in 2021. She also holds her local anesthetic license. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Bloomington and spending time with her friends, family, and dog.

Mickiah is a Certified Dental Assistant. She is working in our office as a Dental Hygiene Assistant in hopes of becoming a Dental Hygienist herself. She has grown up in the Ellettsville Dental Office as a patient and is now part of our team. She lives with her husband, Brayden, in Bloomington, IN. In her free time she enjoys traveling, kayaking, and spending time with friends and family.

Stephanie received her Dental Hygiene Degree from the IU School of Dentistry in 1993. She joined Ellettsville Dental Center in 1999. She currently resides in Mitchell, Indiana with her husband, Jim, and their two children. When shes not at work, she enjoys camping, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.

Amanda received her Dental Hygiene Degree at the University of Southern Indiana in 2007. She joined the team at Ellettsville Dental Center in August 2014. She lives in Bedford with her husband and children. In her free time, she enjoys camping, kayaking, and vacationing with her family.

Sarah received her Dental Hygiene Degree from the IU School of Dentistry in 2000. She joined the office in 2015. Sarah lives in Bloomington with her husband, Aaron, and their two kids, Chauncey and Amelia. When shes not at work, Sarah loves to bake, craft, spend time with friends and family, and volunteer in the community.

Kimi received her Dental Hygiene Degree in Japan and her Dental Assisting Degree in California. She has been with Ellettsville Dental Center since 2000. She lives in Ellettsville with her wonderful husband, Tony, and their furry friends. She enjoys traveling, playing golf, and, most importantly, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Lisa has been a dental assistant since attending college and has worked at Ellettsville Dental Center since 2004. She lives in her home town of Bloomington with her husband, Tom, and their four dogs. Lisa has two married daughters, a son, and is a loving Grandmother to five grandchildren. In her free time, Lisa loves to read, scrapbook, the outdoors, and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Sara received her Dental Assisting Degree from Professional Careers Institute in 2001, as well as her Expanded Duties Assisting Certification from the IU School of Dentistry in 2005. She has been with Ellettsville Dental Center since 2002. Sara is from Linton, where she currently lives with her husband, Chad, and her girls, Reghan and Aeryn. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Eliza has over 15 years of experience as a dental assistant prior to joining Ellettsville Dental Center in 2014. She grew up in Brown County and currently lives in Bean Blossom with her husband and three children. She enjoys music, hiking and spending time with family and friends.

Liz received her dental assisting education from Vincennes University in 2015. Liz was born and raised in Bloomington, where she currently lives with her husband and two children. Liz is a huge animal lover and enjoys photography, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Kim grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. In 1986, she received her Dental Assisting Degree. She moved to Bloomington in 2008 and started her career at Ellettsville Dental Center in 2009. Shes married to Mike, and they have two children, Tommy and Kari, as well as three grandchildren, Kylar, Jaicelyn, and Kenadee.

Marla graduated from Edgewood High School in 1980. After graduation, she attended Professional Career Institute and received her degree as a Certified Dental Assistant with X-ray certification in 1981. Shes worked at Ellettsville Dental Center ever since! She is married to Robert McClary and they have two daughters, two granddaughters, and three grandsons. Marla enjoys crafts, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family.

Krissy attended Indiana University, where she studied Early Education and was a a member of the IU womens bowling team. She later transferred to Ivy Tech for Health Administration. Shes been with our practice since 2002. Originally from Bloomington, she currently lives in Ellettsville with her husband, Russ, and daughter Ella. When she has free time, she enjoys camping, reading, doing crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jenni worked here at the Ellettsville Dental Center in 1993-1997 and received her x-ray certification and was a chairside assistant. She left in 1997 to become a stay at home mom. In 2018, she was happy to come back with the front office. She and her husband Brady live in Ellettsville. They have four children: Thane, Mickiah, Elaysa, and Zarren. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, and reading.
