Dr. Whaley was raised in the rural town of Milford, Delaware. He grew up loving the outdoors and the beaches of the mid-Atlantic. He went to the University of Miami and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Whaley then went on to attend dental school at the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery, the first dental school in the world and currently, one of the top-ranked.
Dr. Wasef believes that dentistry is an art, and she loves the impact it has on peoples lives. She studied at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She moved back to the West coast of Florida to be closer to her hometown, Clearwater, Florida. When she is not in the office caring for patients, she enjoys running and biking outdoors, working out, going to the beach, and traveling with her husband to learn about different cultures.
Dr. Whaley is soft-spoken and always as gentle as possible. He is thorough and very honest and he does excellent work. His office staff is efficient and Tina is a great cheerleader for the patients. He is far more reasonable than other dentists in this area and has the most modern equipment I have ever seen in a dentists office.
I had a toothache and I called them last minute to be seen and they accommodated my schedule and took care of my pain! Dr. Whaley and Tina are so professional and friendly I no longer have to be scared to go to the dentist! Thank you so much to all of the staff at Ellenton family dental.

As a new patient they explained the new patient offer. A complete exam for $99. A very good deal. And my appointment was the very next day. They offered me a same day appointment. Everyone was very gentle and talented when getting my crown work installed.

I'm very picky about a dental offices from top to bottom. I'm a previous dental practice manager, my expectations are high! With that being said I was impressed! I'm looking forward to returning! Everyone was awesome, yes even Dr. Wasef! Will be referring family and friends!

I don't have enough positive things to say about Dr. Whaley and his team. Each hygienist I've met with has been wonderful, gentle but very thorough. Front desk staff is organized and very pleasant to work with. It took me a while to find the right dentist, but I definitely found it with Ellenton Family Dental.

SUPER friendly/professional staff! Don't let the outside fool you the inside of this entire office is beautiful and very clean. I've had horrible experiences with dentist in the past so I wasn't sure how to feel but I've been in for multiple fillings and I will be coming back for any needs to this place for a long time. They were quick and very good at what they do! Highly recommend if you're looking for a new dentist office!

Had the best dental experience at Ellenton Family Dental. The staff is friendly and welcoming. And Lisa, my dental assistant explained everything clearly and helped me feel relaxed. She really set the tone of my whole experience which was excellent. Would totally recommend this dental clinic.

I was a new patient moving into the Palmetto area. Found this dental office and was able to make an appointment quickly. Upon arriving was greeted with a smile. Check up went great. Will be going to this dental office from now on.
