As a full professorat the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics(UCSF), I learn with and from the outstanding residents who aspire to become orthodontists as well. Teaching at UCSFallows me many opportunities to learn about the newest advancements being made in orthodontics. I can then share these state-of-the-art procedures with my patients.
In addition to practice and teaching commitments, both of us cherish and value our family, children, siblings and their significant others as well as spending time in the outdoors and traveling. We value a healthy and happy balance in our lives and want each of our patients and staff to be treated like family as well. Dr. Navarro grew up hearing from her father, also an orthodontist, about the satisfaction he received from creating beautiful smiles in her hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico. Inspired by her father, she completed dental school in 2009, followed by an Orthodontics Certificate and a Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology in 2012, all at the University of Guadalajara.
Dr. Navarro fell in love with the Bay Area while completing an Orthodontics Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2013. Appointed as Adjunct Instructor at the UCSF Department of Orthodontics in 2014, Dr. Navarro subsequently chose to pursue full United States licensure, which required her to repeat her training for a second time in the United States. Toward that end, by 2020 she had completed a DDS, an orthodontics residency, and a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Science, all at UCSF.
Dr. Navarro has won numerous awards and has completed several scientific projects and publications. During dental school at UCSF, Dr. Navarro was recipient of the Global Oral Health Fellowship and traveled to Peru to complete a study about malocclusion in an indigenous population in a remote island. She has published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and has conducted research on topics including progressive condylar resorption, airways, and malocclusion. She currently volunteers at La Clinica de la Raza in Oakland at the orthodontic night clinic. Even with her extensive academic and research experience, Dr. Navarros first true passion is creating beautiful smiles for her patients!

Dr. Ellenikiotis' goal is to make all of your teeth work together and give you a beautiful smile for years to come. Thats why Dr. E's made healthy occlusion (proper bites) the foundation of his practice. His extensive studies in occlusion at Georgetown University and the Roth-Williams Gnathological Center have intensified his interest and knowledge in occlusion. Patients with healthy occlusion will be aesthetically satisfied, have good bite patterns, be less likely to develop periodontal disease, and greatly minimize wear patterns on their teeth. In addition, an ideal bite allows teeth to be in a healthy state of balance, providing long-term stability that can last a lifetime. Dr. E offers many treatment options, including expansion appliances, various surgical techniques, extraction alternatives, and limited orthodontic treatment.
Dr. E and our team have helped improve the smiles of more than 10,000 Saratoga and San Jose area residents, and we can do the same for you. Our doctors provide everything from the most progressive treatment philosophy to the latest bonding techniques and bite correction appliances.

I brought my son Isa to the office for an ortho evaluation and ended up being Dr Yianni's patient myself. Isa got his braces and I got my Invisalign and we are currently mid way through our treatment. I do not have enough words to describe what an awesome orthodontist Dr Yianni is. He is very compassionate, very professional and even greater expert. The office is super nice and clean and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we are always comfortable. Dr Yianni's specialty is in pediatric dentistry and you can tell he was born to do it! My son Isa loves him and he goes to his dental appointments with a big smile on his face ! The Ellenikiotis team goes above and beyond to ensure their patients are well taken care of. As a busy professional, every time I'm in the office I know they're doing everything they can to take care of my smile in a timely and efficient manner without sacrificing the quality of care. I chose to get Invisalign to correct my bottom teeth after never having braces as a child, and Dr. Ellenikiotis and his staff worked with me to straighten my teeth in a timeline that allowed me to take off my trays and present a straight smile prior to a big wedding. I LOVE my smile now and cannot thank Ellenikiotis and Associates enough for their exceptional care and craftsmanship!

Best experience in an ortho office hands down! All the staff made my daughter feel very comfortable and walked her through step by step so she wouldn't be nervous. At the end of her visit she said "That was easier than I thought" and walked out with a smile! Thank you all!

I am so excited to start my journey! Dr E, and his staff are so welcoming and explained my treatment in such detail. I love Dr E's personability and genuine caring for his patients. Beautiful and very clean office. My daughter has already had her ortho journey with perfect results! Can't wait for my teeth to look and feel their best.

1.5 years of wearing braces; my son's smile looks amazing! The entire staff is very friendly always making every visit a pleasant one. Bianca performed work on my son, he connected with her immediately and he was able to relax. I myself will be looking into getting invisalign. Thank you to the entire staff for your great service .

The office as a whole is a well oiled machine. Starting from the front office to the back office. They work together so effortlessly that they made my treatment as smooth and enjoyable as it can be. Lastly, Dr. E is very informative, compassionate and very knowledgeable about Orthodontics. Would rate 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

Dr. Yianni has done an awesome job with my daughter's teeth! He always takes the time to explain things and answer my (many) questions. We couldn't be happier with the care we've received. My daughter's teeth are perfect (wish I could post before/after because she had insane crowding). We are in between phase 1 and 2 and I have no concerns with her teeth going forward. We actually moved out of state and continue traveling in for ortho appointments because it's worth it. Can't recommend Dr. E enough!

I am very pleased with the level of service my daughter has received at this office. They are a very warm and caring staff that genuinely has the best interest of the patient as their central focus and openly and realistically shares all possible outcomes for procedures performed. So refreshing to see that in the valley. I want to thank them for always accommodating us and our schedules. Thank you Dr Ellenkiniotos and staff. Five stars all the way.

This is a tough review to post. I came here for a couple years and it's much better than I expected. I saw amazing results and Dr. Ellenikiotis is incredibly nice and you can see his passion very clearly. However, I didn't give 5 stars because there was this one time where an unbelievably rude person was working on my teeth. They were so rude that you can tell their day must've been absolutely horrible. This person acted this way to their coworkers and to me. I have bad anxiety and my heart started beating so fast when they began their "rant." Anyways this place is good, overall very nice people and great results. But there is no way I'm giving 5 stars after having one of the most rude people I've ever met, work on my teeth.
