For ultimate camouflage, tray or aligner systems offer a modern straightening method. Designed with sophisticated software and 3D digital models of your teeth, a series of clear plastic trays are made. Medical-grade plastic without wires, metal, springs, or rubber bands gently moves your teeth into place. Gradual pressure on specific teeth with each aligner means less discomfort and, in many cases, shortened treatment times. Your provider dispenses several sets of aligners at a time, allowing you to change to a new one at home every two weeks.

Removable trays can be set aside for short periods allowing normal eating and cleaning. Enjoying an apple without the intrusion of brackets and wires works well for many patients. And the smooth plastic surface offers a comfort level to the tongue and cheeks unequaled by other forms of straightening.

Committing to consistent wear, at least 22 hours each day, helps ensure the success of your treatment. While clear aligners work extremely well for adults, a responsible teen can be a candidate too. And adults of every age have discovered the perks of straight teeth with aligners.

While aligner treatment works for 90% of straightening cases, some tooth movements may not be possible. Or you may prefer the security of fixed braces. Todays orthodontics offer more choices than ever. Dr. Lily Morgan can help you discover the path to a straighter smile.

You may discuss adding whitening to your plan, removing years of yellow stain accumulation. In some cases, the beauty of porcelain lifts a straight smile to another level or may even offer an alternative to orthodontics.

Dr. Lily Morgan is dedicated to improving the lives of her patients throughout the Richardson, Plano, and Dallas, Texas areas. Dr. Morgan has built a practice centered on compassion and commitment to improving the dental health of each person in her care. A native of Richardson, Texas, and alum to Richardson High School, Dr. Morgan went on to study at the University of Texas at Austin before obtaining her dental training at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. Now, Dr. Morgan is excited to return to Richardson to serve the community where she grew up. Before dentistry, Dr. Morgan found that she loved science and had an interest in art. So, when she discovered how dentistry required a background in science with an artistic approach to design smiles, it was the perfect fit for her. To explore further, Dr. Morgan had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua with Global Medical Training and saw firsthand what a difference basic dental care could make in peoples lives. She also worked as a surgical technician at Austin Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. All of this galvanized her to attain her goal of becoming a dentist.

Now in private practice, Dr. Morgan remains committed to improving lives and providing personalized dental care. She continues to embrace opportunities to add to her skills and training. She regularly pursues hundreds of hours more than the required CE (continuing education) every year while only less than 20 hours are required.

As a member of the Dallas Spear Study Club and Dallas Study Club, she studies cases with her peers and travels to nationwide seminars and workshops regularly. Dr. Morgan and her team at Ellem Dental focus on educating patients while using state-of-the-art dental technology to provide the latest approaches in dentistry.
