Originally from Mankato, MN, Dr. Petersen received his bachelors degree as well as his dental degree from the University of Minnesota. After a one year residency at the University, he opened the Lakeville practice in 1991. Dr. Petersen and his wife and children have lived in Lakeville since 1993.
Originally from St. Paul, MN, but has lived in Prior Lake since 1985. After receiving his degree from the University of Minnesota in 1996, Dr. Watzl spent six years in the Air Force split evenly between Sacramento, CA and Anchorage, AK. Since leaving the Air Force in 2002, Dr. Watzl has been workinig as an associate for Dr. Petersen. Dr. Watzl and his wife live in Prior Lake.

Dr. Watzl and his team are excellent. I've been seeing him for at least 15 years now. They are timely and professional, and they take the time to explain what is needed. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

As always, great , caring , and friendly staff. Pain free dentistry. Hank was wonderful getting things numb, prepping molar for crown, making temporary, and keeping me informed the entire time, making sure I was never uncomfortable during the procedure.

The Elko new market dental office is awesome! Everyone is so nice and caring! Left with clean and healthy teeth! Also brought my 4 year old daughter in, she was nervous going in but they made her feel super comfortable! She's actually excited to come back for her cleaning!!

Yesterday was the first time my daughter had to get fillings. She had 4 cavities filled with no gas and no shots. It went very well!!! Dr. Hank is by far the best, most gentle dentist I have ever seen. We have been going to this dentist for years and everyone there is wonderful!!!!

Dr. Hank and his staff are amazing! They are very knowledgeable. Dr. Hank always considers your needs and never pushes you into treatments that you don't want or need. He is excellent with children. Very gentle. I highly recommend Elko New Market Dental!
