They literally couldn't care less about their patients. Super unprofessional and didn't complete my daughter's ortho. Do not go here.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. I don't think that I have ever experienced worse customer service. The receptionist (or desk personnel) lost or misplaced all of my child's hand delivered paperwork and said that SHE was the owner of the practice and that her name was Jo (no last name) when I asked to speak with someone about the matter. Avoid this office if it is at all possible.

Do not go to this clinic and if you are already a patient and your insurance paid, good luck you are going to need it. I will never recommend this clinic to anyone., all they want is your Insurance Money. My son has been going there for 3 years and they received the full treatment payment from the insurance. They kicked him out because he missed 2 appointments. Other orthodontist will not take over the treatment because it was already paid in full to this clinic. My son's regular dentist told me he started having cavities and it's because of the braces, that they need to be removed. I told him what had happened. He said I should contact the orthodontist and asked them to remove the braces since they were the one who put them in and got paid for his treatment. When I contacted them they refused, I spoke to the medical manager Jill, she confirmed they had received the full 4-year treatment payment but since they kick him out after 3 years, they would not receive him to remove the braces that I had to pay out of pocket somewhere else. She even told me that I was a negligent parent because he had missed 2 appointments. The thing is that since I had no contact with the doctor because you are not allowed in, and barely any communication is followed after any cleanup or treatment, I had put my son in charge of scheduling his appointments. When I received the discontinuation letter, I politely called them and told them to please reinstate him and I explained what happened. Their rejection was drastic and very unwilling, and now I understand why. They had already been paid and knew it was going to be impossible for us to find another orthodontist. They knew we would never be able to go to another clinic but they did it anyway. This is really pettiness. This is a group of people who absolutely do not care about your well being, they are only after the money. I called them several times when I was trying to switch over, not knowing that it was impossible. They took their time to transfer my son's file, I had to contact them on several occasions, to have them transfer his file over and never once they told what they knew was going to happen. when the other orthodontist clinic submitted sent my son's file to the insurance for approval. We were surprise to hear that Elkins Parks was paid in full. I made several calls to the Insurance explaining everything they all told me the same thing. They will not cover for his treatment, it was already paid for. My final call to the Elkins Park Clinic was when I spoke to Jill the medical manager, and told her the scenario. She basically confirmed that they had received the full payment for a 4-year treatment and will not accept his reinstatement, that it is too late, that he was not supposed to have the braces still on but still refused to give us any assistance. I told her I was going to come at the clinic to have it removed because 1st of all no other orthodontist would accept him and secondly they have been fully paid. She threatened to call the police on me if I came to the clinic to make a scene. I told her that I had a letter from his dentist explaining where the cavities were forming and that I had to have the braces removed. She continued refuting whatever I was saying, told me that I had to pay out of pocket elsewhere, and she threatened me again about calling the police and hung up on me. I can assure who ever is reading this that most people will attest that I am a very polite person but if the medical manager treat you like this, that says a lot about their mission and her character. If you have the opportunity, please choose another clinic where the doctors sympathize more with the patients and parents, and their staff is more client oriented instead of money making subjects.

I contacted this Orthodontics office to schedule an appointment for myself to discuss my Invisalign options. The office manager gave me an 8:20 AM appointment on January 11, 2019. I arrived at the office on time and was barely greeted by the front desk receptionist. After I signed in and completed the customary paperwork, I endured about a 20 minute wait, because the orthodontist, herself, was late. Now I am aware that sometimes you have to spend some time in the waiting room because things get a little hectic and backed up, however on this particular day there was only one additional person in the waiting room with me. After being escorted into the exam room, the orthodontist walked in and apologize profusely for her tardiness. As I mentioned earlier, things happen and it really wasn't a big deal. The orthodontist proceed to give me an oral exam and vaguely goes over the details of my treatment. When I pressed her for more accurate details, she stated that she was not 100% sure she can guarantee my treatment to go exactly as she discussed. My retort was, "then how can you accurately give me a price if you can't guarantee a particular treatment". I was then informed that the Office Manager would call me to discuss cost and payment options. I also found this to be a little strange since I have never had an appointment where the office staff did not discuss the cost and payment details with me, immediately after the exam. This is not my first rodeo with Orthodontic offices. My son and stepchildren all had braces and I had braces almost 20 years ago. So I am familiar with the process. While I was a little dismayed with their process, I thought...I have no choice but to wait until the Manager calls me to discuss the details. I received a call from the Office Manager about 2 PM, who only inquired about whether I had insurance benefits/coverage. Once I informed her that I did not, (because I exhausted my personal orthodontia benefits 20 years earlier with the braces I received) she informed me that she would call me back. I composed and posted this review on Wednesday, January 17 at 10:45 a.m., and I still have not received a call back from the office manager. I truly feel in my heart that they were not interested in servicing me because I did not have insurance benefits, for them to collect from..... IN FULL! What I did not mentioned in my prior comments, is that I was fully prepared to pay for the entire cost of the treatment, IN FULL, immediately. Personally, I would not recommend this office to anyone nor will I EVER go back. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

They have a tiny waiting room and you are allowed inside even when your kid is not yet and adult. They are not in code for people in wheelchairs. Their medical supervisor is a very rude person and the doctors do not communicate with patients' parents.
