Elk River Family Dentistry is a group of General Dentists and Dental Specialists working together to provide a full range of quality dental services for individuals and families living in Elk River, Minnesota and the surrounding cities. We provide dental services to patients of all ages and strive to meet individual dental needs through open communication, information sharing, treatment planning and flexible scheduling.
Elk River Family Dentistry has been providing individual and family dental care services in the Elk River area since 1975, when the office was founded by Dr. Jerry Nyberg. Dr. Lori Linn joined the practice in 1993, and she was followed by Dr. Julie Wallace in 2000, and Dr. David Truchon in 2003. More recently, the Dentists joining Elk River Family Dentistry include Dr. Brady Andvik and Dr. Michael Harrison in 2012. Our most recent addition to Elk River Family Dentistry is Dr. Mary Truchon Crackel.
Elk River Family Dentistry is one of the larger group practices in the Twin Cities 7 County Metro Area, providing greater scheduling flexibility, more specialization and varied expertise among our doctors. We also offer extended hours on Mondays and Tuesdays, and oral surgery on Saturdays.
Our six family practice Dentists perform a full array of general dentistry. Additionally, we have specialists available, and in office referrals possible, for oral surgery, periodontics and orthodontics.
Having highly-qualified doctors and dental specialists allows our patients to obtain treatment for a variety of complex conditions in the convenience our single location in Elk River, MN. Our level of patient care is also enhanced by our state of the art technology, which includes digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras, laser treatments, and computer charting.

Did not take our health concerns seriously and were rude and unhelpful when we reached out to ask a simple question about their policy. We took our business elsewhere as a result.

Being a new resident I am more than pleased with choosing Elk River Family Dentistry. I walk in and they remember me and my husband. They are very welcoming and friendly. They are all awesome.

Great office! Great staff! Shannon did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing but they made my experience great!

I got my wisdom teeth out here, it was my first time being put under and I was scared obviously but the nurses were really nice, reassured me, and calmed me down.

I have been going to this office for over 40 years and would highly recommend them. Everyone there is so nice and very knowledgeable. The Dr's are very gentle, kind, knowledgeable and go above and beyond to help make your experience a good one. I will never go to another clinic.

I cracked a tooth and it was extremely painful. It felt like it shattered. I called park dental and they told me to take some IBUPROFEN and they would have my dentist call me on Monday (in 4 days after Xmas) to get something set up. I waited a while and it was so uncomfortable I called Elk River Family dentistry and the dentist immediately agreed to meet me at the practice and fix my tooth. My tooth was completely cracked in half and the filling was also cracked. There is no way I could have waited until Monday to get it fixed. Top notch service now I can enjoy the Christmas weekend with family.

They got me in for an emergency appointment the same day. The next day had my tooth pulled. The medical staff is so friendly and professional. The ortho made me laugh the second my tooth was pulled! Highly recommend great place!

I went into the dentist with an infected wisdom tooth on a Friday and Elk River Family Dentistry got me in the next day to get it removed. I was extremely nervous but they answered all of my questions thoroughly. Any concerns I had were addressed in a caring but also professional matter. Will be going back in the future to get my others removed when needed!

The dentist office is great at scheduling appointments and reminders. They do not screw up on billing like our old dentist did. The staff are friendly and do not run late getting patients to the chair.
