Originally from western Nebraska, Dr. Eric Fuehrer graduated from University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 2009. Prior to dental school, he attended Doane College where he majored in Biology while playing baseball. For the first nine years of his career, he practiced in the state of Kansas. His wife Amy, who is also a Nebraska native, their young kids Ellie and Max are excited to call the Elkhorn area home.

Whitening your teeth can be the most effective and conservative way of improving your appearance. I use the KoR Whitening system. It is a very straight-forward process and has given my patients noticeable, sometimes unbelievable, teeth whitening. The process is simple:
Dental composite is a strong, beautiful resin that can be bonded to your teeth. It can be used on your front teeth to repair fractures and fill in spaces between teeth. It can even be used in place of porcelain to correct misshapen or discolored teeth. It is a conservative procedure in some cases, little or no tooth has to be removed. It can also be used in your back teeth to fill cavities or replace worn silver fillings.
Porcelain is the material closest in character to tooth enamel. It is used in a variety of situations to replicate the appearance and function of teeth. It is the most durable tooth-colored restorative material in dentistry.
In this case, a combination of composite resin and porcelain crowns were used. The front two teeth, severely affected by cavities around the old filling material, needed porcelain crowns to provide strength. The tooth to the left of the two front teeth (as you look at the picture) was misshapen and discolored. Composite resin was bonded to this tooth without the need to remove any of the original tooth enamel! The tooth to the right of the two front teeth was just fine and was not treated in any way. This kind of treatment can make a dramatic difference in ones smile.

Our family has been coming here for dental care for several years. Michelle has been extremely helpful to us when we had issues with our insurance. She always greets us with a smile and schedule's us around our work/school schedule. A very relaxing atmosphere with gentle dental care. We would never go anywhere else!

The Doc, dental hygienist, and the office manager are great. They are friendly, caring, and patient. The Doc doesn't advertise as being gentle but he is very GENTLE and he understands that there may be a little angst when a client goes to the dentist. He is good about giving me informed about a procedure and walking me through the process; I like that. He is also very cognizant of the final look of the procedure; his goal is to have my teeth and my smile look great. After he completed a difficult crown on me he said, "would you like to see it? It really turned out nice." I like a dentist that takes pride in his work. The dental practice and the dentist are good by me. I am not the final authority on this practice but I can tell you that I had not seen a dentist for 2 1/2 years due to the pandemic, so I had some dental work that had to be done. I ended up spending a little bit of money with this practice and I don't regret anything. They did a great job and my mouth feels great again.
