Dr. Vishal Advani completed a rigorous dual-degree program at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT. During his attendance, he received his B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Chemistry, graduating with highest honors.
While earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Advani learned about the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry from some of the top faculty in the country. Dr. Advani's Ivy League dental education included a strong foundation in the medical and dental sciences along with outstanding clinical training from dentists across the globe.
Upon completion of his dental training, Dr. Advani returned to his home state of Vermont, where he worked in private practice. Dr. Advani moved to the Chicagoland area in 2012, where he has family throughout the suburbs. Dr. Advani opened up Elk Grove Smile Center in 2012 and has been serving the Elk Grove Village community ever since.

Janet will be the first friendly face you'll see when you come to our office. Janet's attention to detail and caring personality will ensure your visit to our office is a smooth one. Janet is responsible for maintaining our schedule, verifying insurance coverage, and reviewing treatment plans with patients. Janet will always review insurance benefits with you prior to any procedure. Janet is happily married with 3 kids.
Dr. Advani is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable while helping them to achieve healthy, beautiful smiles they are happy with. He treats patients of all ages, offering comprehensive dental care including tooth-colored fillings, crowns and bridges, veneers, teeth whitening, root canal treatment, TMJ and occlusal (bite) therapy, and Invisalign (clear braces for straightening teeth).
Dr. Advani is also very skilled in performing surgical procedures such as extractions (including wisdom teeth), advanced bone grafting, sinus lifts, as well as the surgical placement and restoration of implants, including All-on-4, same-day dental implants. Dr. Advani also performs Oral Surgery at three other offices, where he is the only Doctor on staff performing complicated surgeries due to his extensive experience.
In order to continually guarantee the highest quality dental care, Dr. Advani has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education to further his knowledge in the dental field and provide the most up-to-date care to every one of his patients.
Maria strives to be a patient advocate and to make your dental experience as comfortable and educational as possible. In her spare time, Maria enjoys running and spending time with her husband, four kids, and friends.

Dr. Advani and his staff were so welcoming during my last visit to have my teeth cleaned. Faye, my hygienist, was very friendly and personable. She is always very positive and honest with her dental comments as well as very gentle and caring when working on my teeth. The entire staff is very friendly and truly cares about your questions, anxieties, and concerns and takes the time to respond to them all. I am very impressed with the staff's efficiency and talents. They do professional and superb quality work in minimum time using the most up-to-date techniques and technologies. I continue to tell my family and friends about Dr. Advani and his entire staff!

I've been looking and searching around for a cosmetic dentist who could help me with my troubled teeth. I needed a permanent bridge and crowns. I finally found the best!! Michael J Higgins had been my dentist for many years in Elmhurst, Illinois. He took over his father's dental business once Sr. retired. I had a scheduled appointment for my 6 month teeth cleaning. I was taken to the chair and learned of Michael Higgins' retirement. Dr. Advani was going to be the "new" dentist. Though change is difficult, I completely understood and was willing to give this "new" guy a chance. I am very satisfied with my decision. I trust his opinion with my dental dilemmas. Today I had a tooth removed in his Elk Grove location. I learned of my tooth decay when he cleaned my teeth in Elmhurst, but was buying some time to save money for the implant. I am feeling great after having this tooth removed and can't wait to heal up so that I can finish with this tooth implant and hopefully start another one. Thank you Dr.!!! Oh yes and his staff is wonderful as well.

I just had all on 4 implants top and bottom completed at Elk Grove Smile Center! Let me begin with staff. Extremely welcoming and as friendly and informative in person or on the phone! Dr. Vishal and Dr. Sam had agreed to do an all on four with me beforehand and that's what I was expecting. Post surgery, I looked at the xrays and realized that they had installed 6 posts in my upper jaw due to massive bone loss. They didn't increase the price and they didn't feel the need to throw it in my face. They did it out of kindness. The pre-care and post care I've received is exceptional! I am a walking, talking and smiling testimony to their work! It really is life changing. Thank you Elk Grove Smile Center! I don't know why you guys aren't rated higher than you are. Not only is your service of the highest quality, but your prices are the most affordable on the market! My wife and I did the research and I'm so glad that we did! See you guys again soon!
