Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

All of the staff at the Elk Grove Dental group are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. I've been going there since 2004. In my opinion they are the best.

Very nice place and all the staff from the front desk to the dentist are helpful and does their job very well. I recommend this dental place to anyone because they treat their patients like family. Thank you for making my teeth cleaning enjoyable instead of having anxiety attack.

I was there for 2 hours and didn't even get my teeth cleaned, which is what I went for. I've never had such a crazy experience. Read the reviews on Yelp! I did and thought it can't be that bad. I was wrong.

I wish I can give this place 0 stars ! Last time I went there they made me wait 2 hours before I was seen! I was there half day for nothing! They also took months to request authorization for my "needed procedure" and ended up saying it wasn't covered and charged me for it. Also I don't know if we can trust the cleaningness of this place when their lobby and especially their restrooms are so dirty. It looks like they don't have a cleaning person! Looks so nasty.

Terrible. They are constantly trying to hard-sell you something and the wait times are ridiculous. The wait time on the phone for (re)scheduling appointments takes hours, wait time to be checked in and before you're seen for your appointment takes 30+ minutes, scheduling your follow up appointments that should be only 3 weeks out takes at least 5 weeks to get in, trying to reschedule would take an extra 2 months. It's a joke. No consideration of time of their patients. They either need to hire more people to service their patients or stop accepting patients because they are too busy. It would be nice to like this dentist because of their location but they are terrible. Fortunately, their service people are pleasant - at least they hire well... that's something I can give a star to, otherwise this would be a 0 star if that were possible.

I had a teeth cleaning appointment yesterday. When I approached the dental office, there were Emergency Ambulance and Firetruck in the parking lot. As I walked to the front door, they wheeled a man out on a gurney followed by 7-10 EMTs and Firemen. As they passed me right in fromt of the door, there was a dead bird and strong stench. When I entered, there were two customers at the counter and 4 employees sitting at their desks. I waited in line for a period of time, but then sat down in one of the chairs which is right in front of the front desk. Not one of the employees acknowledged my presence - Just a, "Hi, we'll be with you in jus a moment" would have been fine. My apponitment was at 11am. When the customers were done at the desk, none of the employees acknowledged me. It was now 11:10am. Finally, I spoke up and said, "I have an appointment at 11am if anyone cares". They all looked up and frowned at me. Someone said, "Well did you check in with us at the desk?" I had been sitting right in front of them for 10 minutes! I said no, One of the Ladies said, "Well , you have to filll out new paperwork, we changed over to new system, now it's like Keiser". The attitude just put me off. Like, I don't HAVE to do anything. I'm the customer here. Dentistry is a business and I can go anywhere, take my business elswhere if I don't like the way I am treated. Their attitude and vibe sucked. I just got up and left. I will not be back and found another dentist right around the corner.

The staff are a mix of pleasant and rude people. They did not respond with a plan of care for many days after I was seen and it was obvious their main goal was to up-sell me to get work and procedures beyond what my insurance would pay for. I will not go back even if I have to pay out of pocket to a new dental practice.

I was referred to this office by my previous dental office for a periodontal visit. After that first visit with Dr. Lee and Jada, I quickly switched to have Elk Grove dental be my only dental office for all of mine and my family's dental needs. I absolutely adore and appreciate Dr. Lee and Jada, I ended up needing over $10k total worth of work done and was so upset at first but greatly appreciate their awesome staff. They're great, especially Dr. Johal, Silvia, Francine, Maria, and Ashley.

They sent text message for the appointment at 8:00am, when I come in they said they cancel my appointment last night it's ridiculous that you exert effort to come in then they will just tell you that they cancel your appointment, then why they need to send text message in the morning if it's canceled already. Not good customer service.

I am new to the area so I've only had 2 appointments, the doctor is such a sweetheart I really have no complaints my visits were a breeze the only reason I would discontinue or change my dentist is for a potential move looking at the reviews Elk Grove community has some pretty mean people (shrug).

I will agree with many reviews that the staff was nice and professional when I was there. However they don't really care about you or take pride in their work. I had a crown done there, a little over a year later it broke, so I scheduled an appointment to fix it. It has a 5 year warranty. They called to cancel (which they do all the time) and told me my warranty is no longer valid because I didn't go to a 6 month check up I was NEVER informed I had to go to. No call, no email, nothing in writing. They didn't want to fix it for free. They just want money. They simply do not care about their patients. Similar to a shady insurance company screwing you out of compensation for an accident that isn't your fault. I'm disgusted by their immorality, pride in their work, and lack of conscience. It would take them under 3 hours to do the right thing, but they only want more money. Do not go here

Questionable experience recently. Been here a couple times before. Easy cleaning, so no problem. Was suppose to get braces, got the day off and everything. Only to be told I need to visit some specialist because of complications. Anytime a mechanic or supposedly expert sends me to other experts, a questionable light comes on. I will get a second opinion, but not from their recommendation.

Very rude and unapologetic receptionist staff even when they mix up your appointments, always tries to push costly treatment options on you. unprofessional and unfriendly people at the front desk. The dentist takes time to explain everything and makes sure you understand it but at the same time would just list unnecessary items on the treatment plan just to increase your cost.

I wish I can give them zero stars because even 1 star is too much for them. I am sorry for being such a rude in this review because I have had horrible experience at this place. Except for the first 10 min where the front desk lady welcomed me and have me signed up for a new patient, everything else was devastating. Long wait time, inexperienced physician (dentist) is what I experienced at this place. Although, I give 4 star for the customer service but rest is just downhill. A constructive suggestion for a young doctor who is nice in terms of customer service but, please be gentle with people's jaws while cleaning. You made me feel like you were drilling my jaws. I have done cleaning my entire life and never had such a pain while cleaning. Few pain here and there is understandable but believe it or not, you made me feel like you are doing a surgery of my jaws and not cleaning. I think you should train little more using your equipments in people's mouth. Also, an advice for the management, please don't overbook the appt where your staffs has to run around the office to meet the clients needs. It took me almost 3 hours to complete my basic cleaning appt. I will never return here again.

If you have nothing better to do than wait wait wait this is the place for you! I was the first one there at 7 am for a 7am apt then three other ppl came in after me and were called before me! Doesn't pay to be the early bird. Then made an apt for 1:30 on my lunch break and sat there until 2 when I had to leave. I am now going to find a dentist who values my time.

I had an emergency appointment at 12pm and did not get seen until 1pm. Upon arrival, i noticed dental assistants rushing in shortly after 12pm, so I just assumed lunch ran late and proceeded to wait alongside several other patients. At 12:40pm, I went to check in with the staff upfront, only to find them deeply engaged in a conversation about the upcoming weekend...checked in, heard the, "oh they'll be right with you speech," and off i went back to the waiting area. At 1pm, I was taken to x-rays/consult, and at 1:15pm I was being told that I would need to pay thousands more for a simple root canal/crown. Now I say 'simple' with good meaning; I have bad teeth and have had a few root canals before, so I am no newbie to the confusing game of dental insurance. After consulting with my dental insurance company, I KNEW I was right...this dental practice was upcharging its patients. I blame bad leadership for instilling the dollar sign over patient care/comfort.

I went to this place, and when they did the x-rays, my teeth supposedly had cavities, I went and went to another dentist for another opinion and when I saw my x-rays I discovered that my teeth were clean and without cavities. be careful, take a second opinion. don't waste your money.
