Dr. Elizabeth Doi joined her father's practice in 1988, where he had been practicing dentistry since 1954. Dr. Doi has been fortunate in some cases to have provided dental care through multiple generations of a family.

Dr. Doi completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at UCSB in 1984 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCSF in 1988. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA) and the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society (MPDS). She served on the local dental component, Mid Peninsula Dental Society, board from 1995-2004; one of those years as President. She has also worked as a volunteer dentist in the local community, for the California Dental Association and for the past 4 years in a clinic in Juarez, Mexico with her church.

Dr. Doi takes part in a study group at UCSF, keeping up with new ideas and practices in dentistry. Her goal is to help her patients keep their teeth as healthy as they can, through education and regular check-ups.

When not in the office, Dr. Doi enjoys, first and foremost, being a wife and a mom. She also currently serves as a co-Girl Scout leader for her daughter's troop. She also serves as a volunteer parent at her daughter's school, when needed. Her other hobbies include spending time with friends, walking, swimming, reading, scrapbooking, volunteering at church and travel.

Tiffany is a local who grew up in the Bay Area. She has had a variety of jobs in many different fields. She became interested in the dental field and joined Dr. Doi's team in 2018 as a Dental Assistant. She has grown to really love the job and enjoys interacting with patients.

Andrea has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 24 years. She graduated from the Tallahassee Community Colleges dental hygiene program in Florida. She has been taking classes to pursue her Bachelors degree in dental hygiene from Foothill Colleges Dental Hygiene AS-BS completion program in Los Altos and will be graduating June 2021. Her favorite dental topic is oral pathology, and wrote her capstone on the association between HPV and oral cancer. She is happy to discuss with pts how they can improve or maintain their dental health.

Andrea is a Bay Area native who grew up in San Jose and now lives in Mountain View. Prior to the Pandemic, she enjoyed being a volunteer usher at the Mountain View Performing Arts Center and cant wait to get back into the theater. On her days off, she loves exploring in and around the Bay Area with her two teens.

Yuki graduated from Foothill College with a Dental Hygiene Degree in 2002, and has been practicing since then. She was born and raised in Japan. She earned a Registered Dental Hygiene Degree and worked as a hygienist in Japan prior to coming to the US in 1994. She loves her career and very passionate about improving her patients oral health and helping them feel great.

The staff are most friendly and accommodating. I could do without the lecture on dental hygiene by the hygienist, however. At my age, if I haven't gotten the word yet, you are wasting your breath.

This is the best Dentist office and team in the city. Hands down. From Walter at the front to Robert, everyone is top notch with state of the art equipment and practice. I used to hate going to the Dentist and now I'm excited to go back!

I requested an appointment online on 10/4/16. I received a response on 10/5/16 telling me I am scheduled for my third option that was furthest out in time, 10/18/16 2pm. I waited until today, 10/18/16, and went to my appointment at 2pm only to be given a bewildered look by the receptionist. She admitted the system had been down last week and then asked what I needed done, getting my hopes up that they would take responsibility for the error, but no it didn't matter what I needed, there wasn't time to squeeze me in that day no matter what. The lack of willingness to correct the situation and make it right was absolutely appalling, I have not dealt with that kind of indifference of "it's our fault, sorry but you're the one thats going to have to pay for it", since dealing with the DMV spelling my name wrong on my driver's license. I am 31 and have been seeing this dentist since I was 12. Because of this experience and the receptionist's horrendously complacent customer service I would rather suffer through the pain, find a new dentist and wait 2 weeks all over again then ever go back there. Thanks for putting the fear in me of needing your services and then make me wait 2 weeks, drive an hour over there, to just be told to reschedule.....I can only hope this message/warning does some good to prepare future patients what might be in store for them when not scheduling appointments the old fashioned way. Since the receptionist apparently cleans teeth the phone goes unanswered more often then not causing telephone tag or voicemails. This headache causes patients to use the online system that doesn't let u schedule an appointment but to send 3 available times u could come in and hope u get a reply confirming one of ur selected available days is now scheduled (has been the furthest out date every time). PS I have copies of all confirmation emails stating my appoinment that they refused to honor or even try to accomadate except to themselves. I get it, obviously my business isnt valued, needed or welcomed and my time is worthless to them so I'll take my business and spend my time elsewhere.

We've been seeing Dr. Doi since 2005, and every year we think about switching because she is further away from us and it takes a huge effort to get there. However, we never make a change because she and her staff are so amazing, I feel very taken care of when I'm there. It's important to us to have a thorough annual cleaning and her staff definitely outperform. Dr. Doi herself is very gentle and cares about her work. I would say we entertain switching to a dentist who is much closer to us but we don't want to lose the service Dr. Doi and her staff provide, for 13 years.

Dr. Doi does excellent work and does not pressure patients to have work done, but lets them make their own decisions after consultation. Also, I had the experience of unanticipated crown work needing to be done, and she was able to begin it right away. I highly recommend her.

I started going to Dr. Doi's father when I was 18. When he retired, Elizabeth Doi took over his practice. That was 52 years ago that I started with the Doctors Doi. I guess that is all the recommendation that I really need to give.

I have been seeing Dr Doi for over 10 years now. My teeth are a priority to me; I simply wouldn't even consider seeing a different dentist--and I'm old enough to know a really great dentist when I experience one. I love the entire staff of Dr Doi's office. A++

This friendly office makes a Dentist visit pleasurable. The relaxed, yet professional atmosphere is very efficient. The service is quick with no wait time. There is parking available, and the office is located conveniently. Dr. Doi has helped me with some out of town guests that had dental emergencies at a moments notice, too!

Dr. Doi is an excellent dentist. Her dental repair skill is almost perfect, if not perfect and she does a beautiful job. As a human being, she is compassionate and respect patients. I highly recommend her.
