Dr. Nichols grew up near Washington DC, in the town of Clinton , Maryland. She first trained as a Dental Assistant, working closely with her own dentist for several years learning the inner workings of a dental office. She later graduated from Southern Illinois University as a Registered Dental Hygienist, and worked with many knowledgeable Doctors for fifteen years prior to being selected to attend the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Dental School.After graduation she was selected for a two year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of California San Francisco, with special emphasis on geriatrics and special patient populations. She has been in private practicesince 2000 . Her approach to Dentistry is conservative, modern and thorough, with a strong emphasis on good communications with her patients. She and her staff strive to make each visit a gentle, educational and positive experience. It can be said without exaggeration that many of her patients considershe and her staff as friends. Dr. Nichols is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Contra Costa County Dental Association . She has been a member of the Concord community since 1996.

Dawn is a fully trained RDA with over 20 years experience. Her knowledge and gentle touch is sure to make your dental experience a comfortable and pleasant one. She can answer any questions you may have regarding the dental process to help you fully understand the importance of your Dental needs. Dawn grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and she and her family are very active in the community.
Kristina has over 10 years experiencein the dental field. She spent the first 5 years as a Registered Dental Assistant Kristina is very knowledgeable about dental insurance and how to maximize your benefits. She grew up in Vallejo . On the weekends she enjoys attending San Francois Giants games, spending time with her new husband and two cats.

I've never actually enjoyed going to the dentist until I worked with Dr. Nichols. She makes it easy to have work done on my teeth. She's authentically compassionate and caring. The staff is also cheerful, happy and helpful. Top shelf!

Dr Nichols is the most painless, gentle dentist I've ever been too. Very professional in every way. The office is clean and covid safe. Kristina is in the front t office and she is organized and bills insurance correctly every time. Dawn is the hygienist and she too is professional and gentle.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Nichols and her staff. I found them warm, friendly, efficient and very accommodating. You feel at ease the moment you step into this cozy and welcoming office. Unlike previous dentist experiences, I was made to feel comfortable and no waiting. The Dr's exam was the most comprehensive I've received in years. I've recommended this office to family, friends and clients.
