I am passionate about the lasting difference orthodontic care makes. Although many think ofbraces as being all about smiles, the reality is that properly positioned teeth improveoral health and makeit easier to keep yourteeth and gums healthy and clean. Orthodontics also means better function and less strain on the jaw, which lessensthe likelihood of TMJ-TMD in the future.
Each year I complete many hours of continuing education here in Hawaii and abroad. Orthodontics is constantly evolving, and I want to use the best technologies and techniques available. These make the orthodontic experience as effective and comfortable as possible for my patients.
Ive been an Elite Preferred Provider for Invisalign treatment (reserved for the top 1% of providers nationwide) since 2008 and am a Pacific Northwest Regional Leader. I am one of only a handful of women in the world to have earned this title. I have successfully treated more than1,000 patients with Invisalign and can accomplish outstanding results!

Dr. Hong Murray, DMD was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. Dr. Murray received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at University of Alabama at Birmingham. From there she attended Dental School as well and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine.
During her time at Dental school she participated in an international exchange program with dental students across the world including Nice, France, and Cardiff Wales. She was also able to travel to Wales and experience dentistry overseas. Missionary dental work has been her passion providing care to third world countries such as Dominican Republic as well as St. Vincent.
Practicing since 2011 in Alabama and South Carolina, Dr Murray relocated to the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. Dr Murray is happily married to her Husband Matthew also from Alabama. They share a blue heeler named Mollie. Dr Murray enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, hunting and fishing.
Dr. Terry Codington is a California native and a resident of both California and Maui. He has most recently been focusing his attention on his Private. Practice, Aloha Dental Group, in Silicon Valley, Calif. and Speaking for Align Technology-lnvisalign and ltero.
He has thoroughly enjoyed his time in 2018 traveling all across the Country leading educational Events for lnvisalign Special Market Partners Dr. Codington's passion in dentistry is configured around the importance of a patient's healthy dental occlusion. Dr. Codington has a special focus on combined Sleep Medicine and lnvisalign Therapy.
Dr. Codington completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he earned a degree in Biological Sciences. He then went on to the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in SF and graduated in 1982 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Codington is also a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Clear Aligners ADA, and CDA Dr. Codington is happily married with two teenage boys and enjoys being an active world traveler and engaging in sports such as surfing and snowboarding.

Says on their website that they offer metal braces, but I needed a new power chain and when I called they said they only do Invisalign. Don't know why it's on their website then!!

Dr Codington is the MAN.... No one can do what he does with smiles l!!! Mary Linda and Jaime are also so excellent.... my entire experience at Elite smiles and my orthodontic results with Invisalign have been exceptional. I am very pleased and I highly recommend them

My wife, Fran, and I are very happy with the expertise, support and encouragement from Dr. Codington and Merilyn as we're straightening our teeth with Invisalign. You can tell they both enjoy their jobs and it makes it pleasant and "fun" for us.

They would not clean my teeth without exhaustive (overkill/cash grab) dental imaging done beforehand, a specific type that is only covered once every 3-5 years even with a very good dental insurance plan. It makes absolutely no sense. I walked out. 2 stars because they were still trying to be friendly in such a situation.

All is good here. They have GREAT doc! GREAT dental hygienist. No floss in the go home package. I did have a billing issue where they charged me $200 too much over last couple years. Got them together w my insurance. They can't charge ME what the insurance does not pay per their contract. They issued me a check. I stick with them. Professional. Knowledgeable. Close. Many mainland insurances they're not familiar with probably. They still accept it. Work with them. Our teeth are UBER important! We must floss. Brush. Have them examined and cleaned every 6 months.

Elite smile center. My appointment was on time. My hygienist was gentle, caring and shared her knowledge about gum and tooth care in an unobtrusive way. I highly recommend this establishment!

Doctor Murray is the best of Kona, if not best on the island. Highly recommend her. She's done a lot of work for my teeth since I was in high school. Sweet, caring, gentle, and loving! Everyone at elite smiles treats me like my own Ohana.

Friendly front staff, short wait. Diana, the hygienist, was friendly, competent and quick With the x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Dunn, also always friendly and cheerful, was great. All in all, a good experience.

Shout out to Dr Tiffany Dunn!! I'm horrible about booking dentists because I am so nervous about treatment/ if anything could be wrong and also about the cost but Tiffany makes you feel SO comfortable and weighs out everything and with any options for you. Incredibly nice person and straight to the point. Thank you for not making me nervous to go to the dentist anymore and look forward to the next appointment!
