Dr. Lisa is originally from Youngtown, OH. She grew up with a dad who was a general dentist, and worked at his practice throughout the summers. She really enjoyed seeing him interact with his patients. After completing college and undergoing a General Practice Residency, she realized that while she loved general dentistry, she really wanted to focus on one specific area of expertise. After exploring her options, she found endodontics and fell in love with it after completing an additional residency.
Today, she is still very happy with her decision! Dr. Lisa strives to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Her nurturing nature is ideal for children and adults. She looks forward to not only relieving your pain, but helping you enjoy a stronger, healthier smile in the process.
Dr. Lisa completed her undergraduate degree in 2004 from John Carroll University in University Heights, OH obtaining a B.A. in Economics. She then chose to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University, graduating in 2008. During this four-year period she dedicated her time to the Ohio Project and Hispanic Dental Association by providing treatment to underserved/at-risk populations. From 2008 to 2010 Dr. Lisa practiced at Nationwide Children's Hospital Dental Clinic and as an Endodontic Fellow. She received her Masters Degree in Endodontics from Ohio State in 2012 and was honored with the Student Government Association Faculty Teaching Award in Endodontics.
Ben is an Ohio Native who grew up in Cleveland. He is a 2011 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Certificate in Business. He then completed his D.D.S degree at The Ohio State University in 2016 graduating with cum laude honors. During dental school Ben held leadership roles in ASDA and Alpha Omega serving as the Legislative Liaison and President for each respective chapter. Similar to Dr. Lisa, Ben served as the Endodontic Fellow/Intern following his graduation from dental school. He received his Masters Degree in Endodontics from OSU in 2019 and was also honored with the Student Government Honorary Resident Teaching Award in Endodontics.Ben currently lives in Victorian Village but really enjoys working in Westerville and looks forward to becoming a part of the community.
Renee has been in the dental field since 1989 and is happy to be partnering with Dr. Lisa in order to provide every patient with an optimal experience. Outside of the office, Renee enjoys baking, biking, scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband, John, and daughters, Courtney and Carli.
Tracy is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a B.S in Biotechnology. In her free time, she enjoys photography, gardening, going to the movies, and spending time with her husband Tom, her son Casey, and her daughter Claire.
Jennifer is a lifelong resident of Westerville where she has worked in the dental field since 2008. When she is not at work she loves spending time with her husband, Jude, daughter, Carolyn, and her three golden retrievers. She also enjoys baking, hot yoga and gardening.
Daniel is originally from Ghana, West Africa. He received his dental assisting training from Ohio Business College and has been working as a dental assistant since 2009. He holds certifications in nitrous oxide monitoring and CPR. He also speaks five Ghanaian dialects and enjoys working on cars in his spare time.
Kristina received her education from the First Impressions Dental Assisting Program and currently holds certifications in nitrous oxide monitoring and CPR. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters.
Marisol completed her certified dental assisting program at Eastland Career Center in 2014 but has been working in the dental field since 2013. She is also certified in nitrous oxide monitoring and CPR. In her spare time, she really enjoys spending time with her family and listening to music. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Went in to get checked out for some tooth pain from which I thought was an older root canal that I neglected and never put a crown on. Ben Kushnir took some images and went through the options we had moving forward. I decided to get a root canal on a different tooth and my pain has resolved! Everyone in the office is so nice and friendly and will get you the best options and treatment plans available. The best Endo in the city hands down and the process was super comfortable and pain free which isn't what you generally hear about root canals. I wouldn't hesitate recommending or choosing them againm. Elite endo is the place to go

I was recommended to Elite Endodontics from my primary dentist office due to a root canal issue that was a concern. Elite was tucked away on the second floor of an office building in Westerville which was easy enough to find. The staff was very friendly and after I filled out the forms, I was promptly lead to the office room for the procedure. I met with a dental hygienist (can't remember her name) and Dr. Kushnir to discuss the procedure in great detail. Dr. Kushnir presented detailed X-rays of my tooth in question and walked me through the procedure. He was not pushy by any means and incredibly patient with me. I opted to go forward with the root canal and I can honestly say this was the least painful dental surgery I've ever had. Moreover, the dental dam and brace they provide you during the procedure makes it easier to relax and not feel the need to constantly keep your mouth open. I literally fell asleep at one point during the procedure and woke up myself up by snoring (LOL, sorry!). After the procedure I did have some pain that developed to which I called Dr. Kushnir. He was traveling, but still took my call and recommended alternating ibuprophen and Tylenol. The following day he sent me a text to check in on me. I do not know any other doctors who will give you their cell phone and communicate with you throughout the weekend like this. I had a great experience with Elite, but I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Kushnir, and I hope he knows that I appreciate the quality of care he provided. Thank you Elite for a great experience!

Dr. Kushnir and the team at Elite Endodontics provide an amazing patient experience. They are thoughtful, kind, and informative throughout the process. People often say "I'd rather have a root canal than [insert painful experience]." If they are being cared for at Elite Endodontics, that is most likely true. I enjoyed meeting the staff and would recommend to anyone in need of their services.

I am no stranger to dental work of all types, including five or six root canals. I just had another done by Dr. Lisa Poweski, and it was by far the best (to the extent possible in a dental chair) experience I have ever had. Dr. Poweski is calm, pleasant, clearly an expert, and above all else, her work was painless. She explained everything she was doing and made the experience remarkably comfortable. Without hesitation, I would recommend her as an endodontic specialist.

Dr Poweski and Daniel took such great care of me. The doctor explains everything before she does the procedure and during the treatment she will tell you what is happening. I was very apprehensive, but they both put me at ease. I can honestly say that there was no discomfort. Please don't worry you are in the best hands here!

Dr. Ben was very thorough with my consultation. I appreciated his honesty. Even though I may need a root canal in the future, he was honest in telling me that it isn't needed right now. If it does come to that, I will definitely choose him. Sincerely, Mrs. Ralston.

We live out of state, near Myrtle Beach. My husband needed to have a root canal and Dr. Poweski and her staff worked it out to fit me in with their schedule. Their level of care was extraordinary! His comfort and welfare were their primary concern! I can't express my appreciation enough! They are truly fabulous! Thank you so much!

No one wants to have to have dental work done, but Elite Endodontics made the experience as good as it could possibly be. The entire staff was wonderful, welcoming, and kind. Dr. Poweski is one of the nicest doctors I have ever had. I was referred here by my dentist in an emergency situation for a root canal and had no time to read reviews before coming. I got very lucky! They were wonderful and just called to check on me this morning. I one hundred percent recommend them.

My Dentist made an appointment with Elite Endodontic's due to an issue I was having at the time. Arrived at the office, super nice office in Westerville. Jennifer and Tracy were working the front desk. Very helpful and friendly. These are definitely the type of people you want greeting your clientele. Ellie came out to take me back to the exam room. She took an x-ray and we waited just a few minutes before the doctor showed up. Dr. Ben Kushnir did a total check of my issue and gave me some recommendation's. Dr. Kushnir is super nice and gave me a thorough description of what was going on and different options for a course of treatment. A lot of dentists try to have you do expensive procedures. Not here, he laid out a number of options and none involved his business. To me that says something about his business. If you are having Endodontics issues, this is definitely the place to go. Everyone is on your team, looking out for YOU!!!!

I actually never write reviews but my experience with Dr.Kushnir was so excellent that I thought others should know. Having been referred for my first root canal, I did not know what to expect. Dr. Kushnir combined a high degree of professional expertise with a strong patient care focus. He took time to explain every aspect of the procedure along the way while frequently checking on my comfort. He provided endodontic care at is best.

I had my first root canal today and was extremely anxious. Dr Poweski was so wonderful and understanding. She reassured me, explained everything thoroughly, and was extremely knowledgeable. The entire procedure was quick, painless, and i left happy and relieved. I know no one wants a root canal but if you need one, look no further.

Roots canals are obviously not something anyone wants to do, but elite endodontics was a really terrific experience start to finish. The office staff are all so nice on the phone and in person! Scheduling was a breeze. They gave me very specific info about how much I would owe which was appreciated. And the endodontist, Dr Ben Kushnir was perfect. I've had pain with a root canal in the past. Dr Kushnir was extremely careful to ensure there wasn't pain. He was very focused on my comfort and understanding the procedure at each step. Very impressed! He even gave me his contact info if I was having any trouble. I hope you don't need a root canal but if you do go see Dr Kushnir!
