We will take the time to fully explain the procedure, the risks and benefits involved, and any alternative treatment options. Patient education is extremely important to us and we aim to provide patients with the ability to make an informed decision about their healthcare. We also work closely with your referring doctor and other dental specialists to ensure that you have the best chance of achieving an optimal result.
Dr. Michael Yuen was born in Williams Air Force Base, Arizona and spent his life in various parts of the United States due to his fathers service in the U.S. Air Force. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He went on to attend the University of Illinois, Chicago where he received his DDS degree in 2006. He practiced as a general dentist for several years, and it was during this time that he realized his passion for endodontics. Dr. Yuen returned to the University of Illinois, Chicago to complete his advanced specialty training in Endodontics.
He worked as an associate in a private practice endodontic office in Rochester, Michigan for several years. In addition, he taught part-time as an associate clinical professor in the post-graduate and undergraduate endodontic programs at the University of Detroit-Mercy.
Dr. Yuen actively participates in continuing education, and he enjoys volunteering in the community and teaching endodontics. His special interests include regenerative endodontics and dental trauma management.

Dr Yuen is an amazing dentist! His staff is stellar! Everyone was warm, kind and very comforting. I have a serious fear of going to the dentist and Dr Yuen made it such a pleasant and painless experience for me! Thank you so much!

Man knows his stuff, staff are also incredibly talented too. I felt like I was in an episode of Grey's Anatomy because Doc looks like a movie star and their hilarious banter whilst having a pretty gnarly procedure done. I now realize they probably did it to relax me because I was ready to bounce out of the chair from anxiety and fear. You are in good hands here just don't ask him to critique your dental work done 20 years ago, lol apparently it was rather archaic back then :)

They do not help much when your in pain. Gives you e 10 day appointment which is way too long to wait. Go to an dentist where there are more staff and you can get in quicker.

Unlike the other yelpers, my experience with Elite endodotics is rather NAGATIVE, and ended up leaving the office without the procedure. I picked Dr. Yuen as my endodontist based on all the reviews I researched on and a positive referral from my general dentist who I have been with for years. Today was my second time coming in to the office for a procedure, and the patient relation experience was shockingly the WORST. First of all, I was only told upon arrival at the office saying No visitors with me, rather than last time there was one visitor allowed. My husband drove me 30 mins from home to my appt, worried about it may not be safe for me to drive after the procedure. Dona? I believe that's her name, who I realized has been in touch with me, claimed:"Nobody told you one visitor or no visitor allowed, but no visitor today." She never get back to me about the estimated cost with my two insurance. Then she has been talking back to me and asked:"do you want your procedure today?" I feel like we should not drive all the way for nothing and want to give a chance and ask for talking to Dr. Yuen. She told me:"No you cannot." Then I asked again, she said:"Dr. Yuen is with a patient." And then when I asked again, she told me:"Dr. Yuen is not here." And she turned her back and walked into the room, leaving us hanging in the waiting room. At this point, I feel like I should leave and look for another endodontist. Every staff represent the wellness as a healthcare worker and the organization!

After having some dental work done on my 4 bottom teeth by another dentist (who will remain nameless here). I was given a high recommendation to see Dr. Yuen.He was so kind and gentle and meticulous and his xpertise saved my four bottom teeth? Upon my first visit he told me if I would have waited one more month I may have lost them all! He could not promise me they could be saved! However, with his xpertise while preforming 2 major surgeries, he did save all four teeth. AMAZING There are no words to really express my gratitude for everthing he and his wonderful staff did for me making appointments of with every 6 months checked in with him and finally my teeth are now 100%! He is the best on the island! All is well!
