Following high school, Dr. Batiste attended The University of Texas where she obtained top honors from the College of Natural Sciences and a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. During her undergraduate years, she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Incorporated, and served on the national board of the Pan-Hellenic Council.
Dr. Batiste continued her education at Howard University College of Dentistry, where she not only earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery but also became a finalist for entry into the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon and graduated with multiple honors as a top graduate of her class.
Through hard work and dedication, Dr. Batiste is now the proud owner of Elite Dental Wellness in Houston, Texas. She is a standing member of the American Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, International Implant Association, and American Association of Women Dentists.
When Dr. Batiste is not practicing her passion for cosmetic dentistry she dedicates her time to her children Avery and Logan, as well as encouraging young ladies. She frequently volunteers in the youth ministry at her church and participates in health and wellness programs as often as possible to spread the urgency about the need for oral health care.

Offering Oral Surgery in our office has allowed our patients to get the treatment they need in a familiar, comfortable setting. Our patients dont need to be sent to another dental office for part of their treatment. Here are some of the procedures that we provide:
Periodontics is the special area of dentistry that includes the knowledge and practice of the supporting structures of the teeth. It also includes identification and treatment of diseases related to those structures. A person who practices this specialty area of dentistry is commonly known as a Periodontist.
Endodontics is the branch of dentistry that deals with thediagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries of the pulp and associated periradicular conditions. Periradicular refers to the tissue and area surrounding the root of a patients tooth.
People mention the procedure Root Canal when they are going to the dentist to get Root Canal Therapy (RCT) performed. We perform RCT on patients who are experiencing a toothache, headache or jaw pain that stems from the pulp of the tooth (nerves & blood vessels) being infected.
When dental braces are used to help improve the alignment of the teeth, not only is the appearance of the teeth improved, but there are health benefits as well, which include improving the oral health and function of the patient.

I have been a practicing a registered Dental Hygienist for over twenty-five years and I absolutely love my job. I take pride in caring for all our patients, especially those that are terrified of dentistry. We take them from there to feeling welcome, comfortable and becoming a part of the Elite Dental Wellness family.
I love coming to work in a fun, yet educational, atmosphere. My co-workers and Dr. Batiste are so great to work with. I love how we honestly can make a difference in the patients life and they leave genuinely happy with a forever sparkling smile.
I enjoy building relationships with my patients and motivating them towards an optimum state of oral health. Working together to provide the best possible care for patients is my favorite part about being a team member of Elite Dental Wellness.

Elite service and sincere care for me as a patient everytime!! I have been a patient for years and never have I been disappointed! I have had a phobia of dentist...but no more! Today,My dental hygienist Erica (sp)was gentle and thorough! Dr.B is always so wonderful and I love her personality and it shows in her staff!!

I just want to thank the staff for being so warm and welcoming. Graham, Erica and Dr. Auzenne were all wonderful. It's been a while since I've stepped foot in a dentist so I was a bit nervous, but from the moment i stepped in the door I knew this was the right place for me. Definitely found my new dentist and will definitely be recommending to any and everyone I know.

I had an emergency issue with wisdom tooth causing pain on left side of face. They scheduled me same day and Dr. Batiste removed wisdom tooth and feeling much better today. I must say Elite Dental has a quality staff led by the great Doctor Batiste.

This review is way past overdue. I have been a patient of Dr. Batiste for about a year now and every visit has been nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Batiste is personable, but also professional and respectful. Her and her staff make you feel like family. Could not ask for a better dentist!

Great over all experience . Dr.Batiste is very knowledgeable and welcoming.The rest of the staff is great as well. They give you a blanket and put on Netflix to make you feel at ease if you have fear of dentist.

I had the pleasure of being a first time patient at Elite Dental Wellness just a few days ago. The visit completely exceeded my expectations! Dr. Batiste and her staff were ALL AMAZING! Omg this Dental Office is THEE best dentist I've ever stepped in.. Soothing music, not hot and stuffy lol and very angelic (if you will). Not only did they take care of my mom, Elite Wellness took care of me(they know what I'm talking about ) I recommend this dentist to any and all who needs a simple cleaning to major repairs. Dr. Batiste is the BEST, and she's black and beautiful

I love this dentist!!! It has a fun, professional atmosphere that puts me at ease and makes the experience as enjoyable as it possibly can be. That is the top of the iceberg. The quality of work is impeccable. I had my two front veneers done here and have never been happier to flash a smile. I finally feel good about the way my teeth look.

This is a wonderful dental practice!!! Both Dr. Batiste and Dr. Auzenne are excellent dentists! They both have worked on my teeth and I am very satisfied with the results and their work. My family and I have been coming to Elite Dental Wellness for seven years and none of us have ever had an issue with any dental procedure or work completed. They provide top notch service. The staff is very friendly and professional. The office space is always clean and organized. If your in need of a dentist, I highly recommend this practice! I enjoy all of my hygienists. I don't have to wait very long in the waiting area, and everyone is so funny and very nice. I love that I get a blanket when it is cold (a nice blanket at that). Very comfortable experience and my teeth feel great after a cleaning. I actually enjoy coming to the dentist. Looking forward to my next visit!
