Our endodontists, Drs. Aneel Belani, Gupana, Bertrand, Cho, Nanavati, and Desai, as well as our periodontists, Drs. Sonia Belani, Wang, Suleiman-Ata, and Mangrola are passionate about dentistry. Dr. Aneel Belani grew up in Aurora, not far away from the office. He has been waiting for years to return to his hometown. He went to Waubonsie Valley High School, and still keeps in touch with the friends he made growing up in the area.
Dr. Aneel studied Biology at the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL where he was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity and was actively involved in community service activities. He then went to dental school at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Aneel spent two years doing an endodontic residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, one of the most highly regarded endodontic residency programs in the country.
In 2011, Dr. Aneel became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Only 20% of endodontists are board certified and Dr. Aneel became the youngest endodontist to ever achieve this honor. Dr. Belani established Elite Dental Specialists in February of 2011.

Dr. Aneel Belani has an amazing bedside manner. This was my first root canal, and I was definitely nervous. He explained everything and reassured any doubt I maybe have had that a root canal was the correct route. Would definitely recommend!! (And would do it again if I need to)

Friendly doctors and very helpful staff. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because both my husband and I overpaid on our services and had to track them down to get the difference back. They have no standard in place for returning overpayment on co-pays. Disheartening knowing they keep the money of those that don't follow up on their final claim $ amount

Wonderful experience. First time for a root canal. Everything was explained thoroughly & payment and insurance processing no issues. Dr Nanavati gave me a call the next day in case I had issues or questions. And no waiting!

I required a root canal. My dentist acquired an appointment for me at EDS. EDS took care of my 'problem.' Their friendliness and compassion for my situation made me feel like Family. I required a second root canal a few days later. Same friendliness and professionalism. I would use them again - even though I am not hoping to have another root canal - but who does?

The entire staff is amazing! Dr. Samia is very calm and comforting, and let's you know what she's doing during the procedure. She is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure you're comfortable and pain-free. I highly recommend.

Summary: I had a positive experience here. They made root canal therapy as comfortable as it can possibly be. That's a gift, an art, or both! 10/10 Detailed Review: The dental assistant and surgeon were very nice and kept me at-ease. He informed of the progress as he performed it, which I really appreciated. Good bed-side manner is important to me and they are fantastic at EDS He followed-up the next day to check-in and was available if I had any questions or issues before my permanent crown appointment The office staff was also excellent. I was seen immediately even though I came in a bit early. The post-operation instructions and pamphlet were very clear and concise

Entire staff is very professional and accommodating. Had an ER root cancel and I must say, it was a quick and painless procedure. Not that I would ever want another root cancel but if I do need one in the future I would definitely return to Elite Dental Specialist.

Dr. Belani is a life saver. He's performed multiple root canals on me as well as surgery to remove a cracked root. The procedures were always quick and painless. After procedures he is usually able to see me on short notice if I feel like I'm having an issue and need to get it looked at. I suffer from anxiety, And have had poor dental work done in the past, So when Dr. Belani is able to figure out the problem within minutes and set up a care plan, It really alleviates my anxiety. He also goes above and beyond to not charge me a bunch of money which I appreciate because I am legally disabled and on medicaid, And come here even though it's out of network. THAT is how good of work they do here. I refuse to get root canals or mouth surgery anywhere else and I wish I could also come here for general dentistry! Thank you Dr. for actually caring and doing great work while simultaneously not draining my bank account. You truly saved my teeth.

Great Endodontal office! The staff were all very courteous and efficient. The office itself was clean and had nice, trendy upscale decor throughout the building. I was in and out in under an hour for a 3D xray and exam with the dentist. He was extremely careful and thorough when examining me and made me feel at ease even though I normally have anxiety when in a dental office. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of root canal services!
