Dr. Castro Sr. entered the profession as a dental technician over 30 years ago. During his time as a technician, he was blessed to work with highly trained individuals that taught him the primary elements behind fabricating aesthetic dental restorations. It was during these years that Dr.Castro Sr. discovered his passion for the profession, and more specifically, his passion for cosmetic dentistry. It was this passion that led Dr. Castro Sr. to pursue a career in dentistry and complete his studies at the University of Detroit. Since completing dental school, Dr. Castro Sr. has continually taken CE courses and researched new techniques in cosmetic dentistry to assure that he is providing his patients with the latest materials and best techniques dentistry has to offer. The combination of Dr. Castros unique perspective and his strong educational background is what enables him to create and maintain healthy, beautiful, and aesthetic smiles.
Dr. Castro Jr. initially developed his passion for the profession working as an orthodontic (braces) assistant where he especially enjoyed treating kids and grasping the concepts behind ideal aesthetics. After graduating from Florida International University with honors he followed in his fathers footsteps by attending the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. It was during his time at UDM that Dr. Castro Jr. grew especially passionate with oral rehabilitation and emergency treatment. He was extremely proud to join Elite Dental Group in 2010 and focuses on providing all ages with gentle high-quality dentistry in a comfortable environment.

I have been a patient of this Dental group, that's why I always return. The time for appointment and the time you are call is less than 5 minutes. My experience is always the best, from the girls and the young man at the front desk to the doctors, they are amazing. My Hygienist is great, she takes the time to explain every single detail while she is doing her job. The office is very clean and they are very organized with their appointments. I had several surgeries including implants, and I can tell you they were painless. While I was waiting for them to call me in, I heard the person at the front calling patients at home to check on them after their surgery. All these little things that they practice in this dentist office are very important to me. Thank you Dr. CASTRO and staff. I highly recommend them.

Not sharing to much of my dental dismay that brought me to this amazing office, they deserve more than 5 stars. From the front desk to the actual dentist I have no complaint or ill will. Even with a couple of language barriers, they were able to make me feel comfortable. I also appreciate that as awful as my issue was no one made me feel embarrassed. They have a heart of care and concern. Thank you.

Dr Castro Jr is pretty great, as far as dentists go. 5 Stars for him, personally. Office staff are apparently deaf. You can ask for an invoice of work to be done so you know your balance, and nobody knows what to do. You're not just asking once or twice, we're talking more than half a dozen times. Let's not forget that they won't bother calling YOU to schedule your next appointment... "we'll call you!" means nothing to the staff. You'll wait a whole year if you don't take initiative to call the office yourself and make the appointment. Are they waiting for implant parts from the lab? No, because they COINCIDENTALLY arrived the day you called, but on three separate occasions. Absolutely ridiculous. Prepare to repeat yourself each visit. Prepare to be promised "emails" of the billing paperwork you request. Prepare to have a lot left to be desired. If I could give zero stars, I would. Edited to add a picture of the flimsy receipts they give you after any payment. All that money spent on the cute point of sale terminal, instead maybe invest in better staff.

Dr. Salas is the best! She really cares about patients and talks to you like a person. She gives you worst case scenario to be prepared but does amazing work to avoid it. 10/10 would highly recommend!

My appointment today was @530pm. Every team member I encountered was amazing. Check in, check out, dental hygienist, xray tech literally everyone was extremely sweet. I'm emphasizing my appointment was @530 because everyone treated me as if I was the first patient of the day. I truly love coming to this office. I really hope the office manager/doctor reads this and treats these ladies to lunch/gift cards. I will continue to refer my friends.
