Hi, I'm Dr. Bob Yu. I grew up in Louisville, KY and attended Washington University in St. Louis for my undergraduate studies and the University of Louisville School of Dentistry for my dental education. Afterwards, I completed a one-year general practice residency at Summa Akron City Hospital (where LeBron James and Steph Curry were born) to expand my clinical skills and knowledge. Upon completion, I worked at a rural, public health clinic in Southeastern Ohio to treat a severely economically-disadvantaged population that desperately needed dental care. In June of 2019, my wife and I moved to Orange County for her pediatric training at UC Irvine/CHOC.
My approach to dentistry is very conservative and I aim to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible. I am well-trained in all facets of general dentistry and am dedicated to providing the highest quality care I can to every patient. I value the faith and trust patients have in me, so I will never over-diagnose or oversell treatment that is not absolutely necessary. I make sure to listen to each patient and his or her individual needs, so that we can create an optimal treatment plan together.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring Southern California with my wife, playing/watching basketball, snowboarding, making music, and painting. Thank you for visiting our website. Hope to see you soon for all your dental needs!
Dr. Phan is our practice to serve our patients involving either preserving part, or all of the dental pulp in health, or removing all of the pulp in irreversible disease. This includes teeth with irreversibly inflamed and infected pulpal tissue.
Dr. Raffie Garabedian will be joining our practice on a monthly basis to serve our patients. Dr. Garabedian completed his dental school training at the University of Pennsylvania (PENN), an Ivy League School. He graduated as one of the twenty cream of crop students with honors in clinical dentistry at the Advanced Dental Care Clinic in Philadelphia. He was also elected to honoree membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon by Eta Chapter Society. As a dental student, Dr. Garabedian was awarded the prestigious Abrams Cohen Award in Periodontics. Dr. Garabedian went on to completing advanced training in periodontics and implantology at the University of Southern California (USC). During his residency, Dr. Garabedian was the very first resident to complete a Master of Science in Biomedical Implant and Tissue Engineering (BITE) where his research focused on gum tissue and bone engineering in animal and human models. Dr. Garabedian philosophy of practice is patient centered care and expecting nothing less than excellent and predictability in outcome Dr. Garabedian maintains professional affiliations with the following dental organizations: American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and Western Society of Periodontology. Away from dental world, Dr. Garabedian finds great pleasure in spending time with his family, cooking, and book readings.

Please do not waste your time with this office and these dentists. I went there with excruciating pain from 2 adjacent molars. I had been to two other offices and had X-rays documenting the issues with the nerve roots. The office staff was very pushy. I saw Dr. Bob Yu. I was asking Dr. very politely about the process and he totally had an attitude. He would cut me off and not give me any clear answers about the process. After I asked my fifth question, he got up, went to wash his hands and told me that he's done and he cannot deal with me! Some people are not meant for their profession. This guy is not meant to be a dentist. Terrible bedside manner!

I am in need of many dental treatments, I finally found Elite Dental office which can do all my treatment in one office instead of rendering me out to other office. Dr. Raffie and Dr. Yu are very nice knowledgeable and they make sure I was comfortable and understand my treatments. Highly recommended this office, nice and clean. Staff are very friendly.

I really like Dr. Garabedian. He is professional and gentle with extraction procedure. If you have dental phobia , he makes sure to check up on you every 10 minutes to see if you're doing okay, just what I expect from a dentist , caring and always put patients' safety first. His post op instructions is also clear and thorough, also one week check up to make sure the wound is healing well. Totally recommended.

Dr. Bob was great, he take time to explained to me about the treatment. $39 special for X-rays and exam is a good deal since I don't have any insurance coverage. I have to come back for implants and crown. Good thing they are running a special for implant as well. Overall great experience.

I was able to get my cleaning here and the process was easy. The doctors and assistants were very kind and from my experience I would come back for another cleaning.
