Have been a patient with Elite Dental over 15 years. Going to a dentist is a necessity and choosing a dentist is not always easy. These dentists are not only professionals but they always make me comfortable while I am in the office. Plus, I always get compliments on my beautiful teeth.
I cant say enough good things about this dental office. The staff is very friendly and truly take an interest in making you feel comfortable. They have the latest in equipment technology and techniques. I only wish I had known about this office years ago. Love this place!
Dr. Xhelo Shuaipaj has lived and grown up in the Chicagoland area his entire life. He attended the Loyola University of Chicago Undergraduate University and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the Loyola University Chicago College of Dental Surgery in Maywood, Illinois. He also received his advanced Sedation Dentistry Certification from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Since at a very early age, science and especially the medical field always interested Dr. Xhelo. I always did well in my science courses in school and always participated in school, local and state science fairs (winning my share of many awards for my research and projects). I was also very talented with my hands; some may even say artistic. And that is what attracted me to dentistry. I am able to integrate my passion for the sciences and love of artistry into a career I enjoy. I not only help people get healthier but also improve peoples self-esteem and confidence by creating radiant and beautiful smiles. Some may view dentistry as a necessary evil, I view dentistry as the ability to transform peoples lives. That is why I love being a dentist and can think of no other profession I would rather be in.
Dr. Xhelo has been providing quality dental care to all his patients for over 25 years focusing on a comprehensive approach to oral health by treating and educating his patients which helps keep his patients healthy in between visits. He understands the importance of listening to his patients and helping them feel comfortable and relaxed.
Dr. Xhelo is one of only a handful of General Dentists in the state of Illinois who are certified and licensed to perform Sedation Dentistry. Through Sedation Dentistry, Dr. Xhelo has successfully and safely cared for thousands of patients and has helped these patients get the dental care and treatment they so desperately needed but could not have gotten any other way due to their fear and anxiety about visiting the dentist. Now patients do not need to let fear stand between you and quality oral health care. Dr. Xhelo and sedation dentistry removes that barrier.

I recently had implants and a sinus lift. I was a little nervous about this. The manager gave me her personal phone number so I could ask her any questions that I had prior to surgery. She was very responsive in getting back to me, and made me feel at ease. They were so nice and made me feel so comfortable about the procedure and the dentist did an amazing job. They also worked with me finically to make it possible for me and affordable. I would definitely refer them to friends and family. They really made me feel like a valued customer. Thank you for helping me to get a better smile.

This entire office is the epitome of what a healthcare provider's office should be. Absolutely everyone was and is wonderful and Dr. Xhelo and staff, thank you for all that you do. Compassion, professionalism and science with warm and caring people in a spa like environment. 10/10.

Let me start by saying the front desk staff at Downers Grove & Lemont are truly some of the best customer service professionals I have ever spoken to. Adriana and Yessi are a true asset to Dentique. They truly truly care about you. Now, onto how amazing Toni is!! I had a crown pop off less than 24 hours after being put back on and Toni was truly a lifesaver. Absolutely amazing and so incredibly kind. She remodeled a new crown for me. I was in SO MUCH PAIN before she helped me and within minutes of her putting the new crown on, I was almost pain free. 48 hours after she did everything, I was in no pain and my mouth felt great. I owe her everything! I was in tears from frustration and so much pain (and incredible throbbing) and Toni truly saved the day! I will always recommend this office. They honestly care about you, the outcome and how you feel!

Way better than other dentists! I don't love getting a Lego car-like object shoved into mouth for X-rays but they did it without inflicting pain like other places. Also, the gum test ...usually other places scream out your high numbers while sticking sharp metal instruments deep into your nerves. This place, no pain somehow and no numbers being shouted out. Did I mention you can take a pill that basically makes you skip over the day of your dental work? I'm in.

Just had the best dental experience of my life. Walked in and seen Toni's smiling face. Dental assistant Barbara was excellent and really calmed my nerves. Olivia the Hygienist also was caring and understanding. Dr. Jello was awesome and set me up with a game plan to get my teeth back up to healthy. Just a friendly and happy environment. Thanks again.

I have had the good fortune in stumbling upon Elite Dental Care. I was first help by a lovely young lady named Yesenia over the phone collecting my insurance information and informing me on what procedures would be covered. After introduced to an excellent hygienist Olivia, who is amazing at her craft . After my cleaning I couldn't believe how bright and clean my smile felt/looked. As for the dentist Dr.Xhelo , I've never had a more trustworthy and skilled doctor giving me treatment. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout my entire visit and procedures. Overall, I highly recommend visiting and can guarantee you will not be disappointed!!!

I had a great experience at Elite Dental and would highly recommend going there. The staff was great, very welcoming and friendly. Both Dr. Patel and her assistant Vi were very nice and informative and made me feel right at home. They provided great attention to detail and excellent service. I also got a teeth whitening done and which delivered amazing results! You will be in good hands here!

Olivia did a GREAT job cleaning my teeth. Now they are pearly white! Dr Xhelo ( pronounced Jello) is, as always, AMAZING and most knowledgeable and totally current with best dental practices. His new partner, Dr Patel is beyong great. She did a front tooth filling immediately, and cosmetically perfect! V was also an excellent dental assistant. The front office, Adreana, Yessi and Toni make you want to make your next appointment even before you leave as they are all so nice, fun and thorough. There are no surprises here. I am always told about everything so I have peace of mind. Because of this, I have my whole family as clients here...even my 89 year old mother!

happy to share my very good experience with elite dental! ive been a patient for 15 years and they have always been courteous, kind, accommodating. the doctors and assistants do excellent work! and the facility is attractive and very clean. all through the pandemic they have made every effort to keep all safe.

Best dentist I've been too. They do everything they can to help you and are super polite as well! Would highly recommend going to them! I would like to thank them for giving me the confidence to smile again. I didn't have great teeth and when I went there for the first time, I didn't feel judged whatsoever. Dr. Xhelo and the whole team there are super friendly and make you feel very welcomed.

It had been five years since my last cleaning. It was 30 years since I let someone numb me, preferring no needles. That hygienist was so magical, I swear its her eyes and comforting demeanor, but she had me numb and cleaned up before I realized what had even happened. Really a great crew, great doctor and about as good as you can get when it comes to the dreaded dentist. Big "thumbs up."
