Recognized by patients and colleagues alike, Dr. John T. Eli is a Board-Certified and highly regarded orthodontist. His practice prides itself in excellence in technical acumen, patient rapport, and orthodontic treatment for adults, adolescents, and children.
Native of Southern California, Dr. Eli was born and raised in Whittier. The commitment to make a meaningful difference to the lives of others was instilled at an early age by his father, Dr. Don T. Eli. After graduating from Whittier Christian High School and following family tradition, he attended the University of South Dakota where he received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Natural Science degree in Biology.
Recognizing that oral health and attractive smiles contribute to positive self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-image, Dr. Eli chose the field of dentistry as a means towardimproving people's lives. His decision led him to Nova Southeastern University-College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduating with honors and being inducted toOmicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society,he attended the Center for Advanced Dental Education at Saint Louis University where he received specialty training in orthodontics. After completing his orthodontic residency and with his Master of Science in Dentistry degree, Dr. Eli returned home to Southern California to raise his family and build his practice in Lake Forest in 2007.
Eli Orthodontics is the unique vision of Dr. Eli, a family-centered practice where your health and well-being is priority. Every team member is relationship driven to care for all patients. Dr. Eli believes that one of his greatest professional accomplishments is his selection and coaching of a successful, dynamic team and that it is the dedication of his staff that allows him to be his best.
Dr. Eli and his wife Jennifer (whom he met at dental school) reside in Mission Viejo where they have three children, Katherine, Emily, and Blake and their Golden Retriever. Jennifer is a general dentist and practices in Lake Forest at Eli Family Dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Eli enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and anything and everything about cars. Most importantly, his absolute favorite pastime is spending time with his family.

My name is Kym and I have more than ten years of orthodontic experience. I have been at Eli Orthodontics since the day we opened, 2007. Building relationships with our patients and their families and getting to know them on an individual level makes my work very fulfilling. As the Treatment Coordinator, I handle many duties at the office, including preparing new patients for their first orthodontic exam, reviewing our patients medical and dental histories, taking X-rays, discussing recommended treatment, and offering financial options. I enjoy being involved with a team that makes people smile more each and every day!
Hi, my name is Jenny and I love being a part of the Eli Orthodontic team. I completed my dental assisting training at Orange Coast College and became a Registered Dental Assistant. I enjoy building relationships with our patients and their parents while helping to create beautiful smiles. The best part of my job is being able to be there step-by-step throughout our patients treatment and to see their amazing transformations.
I was fortunate enough to start my orthodontic assistant career here at Eli Orthodontics in 2014. I enjoy all aspects of what we do, from the excitement of meeting new patients to making our patients feel comfortable to the day they get their braces off. It is a rewarding feeling to know that I can help take part in our patients journeys, and I am a firm believer that a smile is the most important accessory a person can wear! Dr. Eli is an amazing orthodontist and our entire team works so well together to help our patients.
I am a huge sports fan! I enjoy a good baseball or hockey game cheering on the Anaheim Angels or Ducks! I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, listening to country music, and attending local country concerts any chance I get!
Hi, I am Kelsey. I have been working in orthodontics for 6 years. I really love working at Eli Orthodontics. We are one big family. Another huge part of why I love working here is the patients and their families and the relationships that are formed. When I am not working, I love to follow the Anaheim DucksGo Ducks!

Both of my children had orthodontic work completed by Dr. Eli, and we are completely satisfied. Dr. Eli and his staff are true professionals. In addition to quality orthodontic results, the office staff was enthusiastic and motivating. The "Smile Rewards" Program helped encourage my children to follow their outlined program from beginning to completion. In addition, Dr. Eli and his staff generously support the local community through various office programs. Well done!

I made an appointment for my son for a consultation a week ago. When I came in for the appointment, the front desk did not even let me see Dr. Eli. They said that the Dr. Does not handle my son's case. How would a Doctor determine this without seeing his patient? I made a commitment to come to this office; however; they failed to do their ethical duty to see the patient and cancelled the appointment without any good reason. They should have told me this over the phone and save my day. I remember coming to this office 2 years ago for consultation for my daughter. We were highly greated since Dr. Eli suggested braces at that time although my daughter had just completed her orthodontic treatment (so technically my daughter did not need braces). Today I came in with a real problem for my son where I needed his expertise and consultation, they refused to even see or examin him. Folks, I believe this is a fake clinic which is not capable of addressing real problems and is willing to take your money when you actually don't have or don't need any braces. I do not recommend this office at all. It is unfortunate that we still have such doctors who are still allowed to practice in US.

I was referred to Dr. Eli and drove from Los Angeles to see him because of a broken tooth, the tender care and skill level was outstanding, everything looked better than new! Well worth the drive!
