Dr. Amini received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Maryland in College Park. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from the College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 1994. During her time in dental school, she was selected for a fellowship program to perform cosmetic, restorative, and prosthetic procedures including implants. In addition to a strong academic background, Dr. Amini maintained an active extracurricular schedule and was involved in performing volunteer dentistry with different organizations such as Operation Smile. She opened her practice in Olney, Maryland in 1998 and has been serving the community ever since.
Dr. Amini attends many lectures, workshops and continuing education courses each year to stay at the forefront of dentistry, ensuring she is providing the highest level of care for her patients. She has studied at the prestigious Kois Center for Dental Excellence in Seattle and The Stanley Institute focusing in Implantology. Dr. Amini is a member of the Internation Congress of Oral Implantologists. Known for her expertise in putting patients at ease, Dr. Amini stays ahead of the latest advances in smile makeover and traditional treatment, including high tech equipment and appearance-related dental procedures.
Dr. Amini is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, the Southern Maryland Dental Society, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She has also been recognized by the Consumers Research Council of America as Americas Top Dentist since 2003.
