Dr. Amini received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Maryland in College Park. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from the College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 1994. During her time in dental school, she was selected for a fellowship program to perform cosmetic, restorative, and prosthetic procedures including implants. In addition to a strong academic background, Dr. Amini maintained an active extracurricular schedule and was involved in performing volunteer dentistry with different organizations such as Operation Smile. She opened her practice in Olney, Maryland in 1998 and has been serving the community ever since.
Dr. Amini attends many lectures, workshops and continuing education courses each year to stay at the forefront of dentistry, ensuring she is providing the highest level of care for her patients. She has studied at the prestigious Kois Center for Dental Excellence in Seattle and The Stanley Institute focusing in Implantology. Dr. Amini is a member of the Internation Congress of Oral Implantologists. Known for her expertise in putting patients at ease, Dr. Amini stays ahead of the latest advances in smile makeover and traditional treatment, including high tech equipment and appearance-related dental procedures.
Dr. Amini is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, the Southern Maryland Dental Society, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She has also been recognized by the Consumers Research Council of America as Americas Top Dentist since 2003.

I really liked the "small office" appeal and warmth of everyone there on my first visit. The hygienist was wonderful and explained everything as she did the exam. Dr. Amini was very professional, pleasant and thorough. I am happy to find a new dentist after my previous dentist retired.

I have been a patient of Dr. Amini's for many years. She has taken great care of me over that time, from normal exams through root canals and crowns. Her office is very modern and quite cheerful. ' Theresa ' did a wonderful and professional job on my long overdue teeth cleaning l. I appreciated her making me feel so comfortable and explaining everything she was doing during the procedure. I've been going to Dr Amini for 8 to 9 years and have never been disappointed. The doctor has a great sense of humor as well as a deft eye. I guess I just like her method and care for her patients.

Been coming here since 2019 and I have never been happier with a dentist. I take my teeth very serious so after a long intensive research, I found Dr. Amini and don't plan to find another dentist unless I leave the Montgomery county area. Close to my job, always accommodates later appointment times and gives great advise and isn't money hungry. I HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Amini is a one of a kind dentist, who does everything possible to ensure perfection in her work. Her years of experience and professional attitude show her capability in this field, and I would highly recommend Doctor Amini to anyone looking for a perfect smile, perfect implants, etc.. it's been many years in the making and full of ups and downs, frustrations, bumps in the road.
