Ziad Ali, DMD, MD, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Ziad Ali grew up in Montreal, Canada, where he received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees from McGill University. He then moved to Philadelphia, PA, where he completed his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Realizing his strong interest in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, he moved to Houston, TX, where he received his medical degree and certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of Texas at Houston.
Dr. Ali is board-certified and is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery (ABOMS). He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). Dr. Ali has strong interest in the fields of dental implants, as well as bone grafting and regeneration. His interest in teaching has also led him to teach training surgeons at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
Jay Nokkeo, DMD, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Nokkeo has been in practice as a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon since 2003. He has a very close connection to the Northern Virginia community as he grew up in McLean. He completed dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He did his residency for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Washington Hospital Center, where he is now on the attending staff. He is also an attending staff member at Childrens National Medical Center. Dr. Nokkeo serves as an Officer of several Dental Societies within the Maryland State Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Society, and Maryland Dental Society of Anesthsiology. He is currently the Treasurer for the Maryland State Dental Association, President of the Southern Maryland Dental Society, and Past President of the Maryland ADSA. He has specific interest and extensive experience in surgical implant procedures. Personally, he is married with 3 children and enjoys spending time with them on various vacation destinations.
Dr. Shervin Tabeshfar DDS, MSD, Prosthodontist Dr. Shervin Tabeshfar, a.k.a. Dr. T is a prosthodontist. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2006 and then went on to complete his training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in 2010, and received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in the specialty of prosthodontics in 2014 from Boston University.
His specialty of prosthodontics and his MSD degree enable him to provide his patients with a wide array of restorative and prosthetic procedures at a very high level of proficiency and excellence including implant dentistry, crown and bridge, esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction and rehabilitation, complete and partial dentures and overdentures, all with special focus on dental and biomaterials. Dr. T prides himself on being very patient-centric, always making the needs of his patients a priority, and providing his patients with care at the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Dr. Tabeshfar lectures nationally on several topics involving prosthodontics including dental implant restorations, esthetics and cosmetic dentistry. In addition, being a mutli-instrumentalist musician, he also enjoys playing and recording music in his spare time; In addition, he enjoys going on hikes and taking part in outdoor activities and sports with his wife Marieh.
Dr. TOM STANTON, D.D.S., P.C., Periodontics Dr. Stanton has been practicing Dentistry since 1990, and has been a Periodontist since 1995. He received his General Dental training from The New York University College of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Stanton completed a two year General Practice Residency at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he gained valuable training in comprehensive dental care, including dental implant placement, the treatment of medically compromised patients, and emergency medicine. Dr. Stanton continued his studies at the University of Michigan where he received his Certificate in Periodontology. After completion of his Periodontal program, Dr. Stanton served as a clinic director at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and maintained a private periodontal practice.
Dr. Stanton has lived in the Washington, D.C. area since 1999. He is active in his community and in local, state and regional dental societies. His primary professional interest is the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease using surgical and nonsurgical procedures in order to restore oral health, function, and esthetics. Dr. Stanton aims to assist your dentist in providing natural-looking, stable alternatives to removable dentures using dental implants and periodontal regeneration.
