Dr. Tina Saw provides her patients with exceptional cosmetic, restorative and general dentistry. She grew up in Olympia, Washington and attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Shortly after graduating, Dr. Saw went back to the West Coast, and attended Loma Linda Universitys School of Dentistry.
Dr. Saw is passionate about dentistry and her community. During her time at Loma Linda, she served on several mission trips, both local and abroad. When she is not at Elevated Smiles, Dr. Saw continues her love and passion for helping others by giving her time to community clinics in the San Diego area. Dr. Saw received Loma Linda Universitys Boyko Award for Christ-like service in dentistry for demonstrating extraordinary interest and activity in following Christs statement, Whatever you did for one of the least . . . you did for Me. She also continues giving back through the Dental Lifeline Network where she brings in one individual into the community and transforms their smile to help them get back on their feet.
Dr. Saw is compassionate and gentle to all her patients. She takes the time to get to know them, and makes sure she addresses all their concerns. She truly cares for each person that walks through the door.
Her pursuit of knowledge is important and she understands how important it is to keep up with the latest techniques in dentistry in order to provide the best quality care for her patients. As a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, she has spent many hours striving towards perfecting techniques that yield top-notch cosmetic dentistry in order to deliver natural, beautiful and minimally invasive dentistry. Dr. Saw is also a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Diego County Dental Society.
Besides practicing dentistry, Dr. Saw spends a lot of time biking and enjoying the outdoors with her two children, Jax and Ava. She also works outside in the yard with her husband on their vertical hydroponic garden, growing vegetables with no soil. On the weekends, she often can be found at Disneyland with her family, enjoying all the rides and taking pictures with Mickey and Minnie.
Dr. Saw hopes to transform and build as many smiles as possible. She truly believes nothing should hold a patient back from obtaining the healthy and brilliant smile they deserve. Dr. Saw has been seen in Shape Magazine, CBS 8, Fox 5, Newsweek and more.

I had such a great experience here! Everything was very detailed and well explained after the visit! Nancy , Kylie Cynthia, and Dr Luu we're very helpful and welcoming when I was there! Definitely worth going!

Dr. Saw recommended the most extreme, time consuming, expensive treatment option possible without even adequately explaining to me exactly why it was really needed. I went to another dentist with much more experience and they recommended a cheaper more conservative treatment while also doing a much more thorough job of explaining what was going on.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Thanh Luu and Nancy last week, they were awesome. The entire staff was super friendly, professional and made my experience quick and painless!

This place was amazing! I hate going to the dentist and they made it a breeze for me! Very friendly, fast and affordable service for those without insurance like myself. Will return soon for my Annual cleaning!

Service was great, they were very gentle, very informative, the staff always checked to make sure I was ok with what they were doing. Nancy especially was very sweet and helped me out a lot! Definitely recommend. -Anna

The office crew ( Kiley, Kara, Nancy and Cynthia) and Gia my hygienist did great. Gia was informative, thorough and gentle on a deep cleaning when I anticipated a different experience. The office crew handled my insurance and question because I am a new patient and accommodated my scheduling needs. Great job and pain free!

Dr.Luu and his staff are the best!!! I've never been to such a great dental office. EVER! Honestly I've never felt comfortable around any dr like I have with Dr.Luu. He doesn't push services on you only recommends what's absolutely needed! Can't wait to come back and recommend my family here !

They want to extract as much money out of their clients as they can wring. I tried becoming a new patient and before I could event hit the chair for a cleaning they informed me they wanted to do detailed x-rays and since my insurance would only cover every 3 years I would be charged out of pocket cost. After understanding there were other x-rays they can take multiple times a year and be covered and that the full x-rays could be covered again by my next 6 month appointment I asked the receptionist if they could be flexible and do them next time as I was not suffering from any pain nor did I have any cavities or prior dental problems. The dentist who was listening in the background interjected, "New Patient, Full X-Rays, No Exceptions!" flipped closed his notebook and walked away. I asked if my only options were to cover this unexpected expense or wait 3 months for it to be covered again and the receptionist shrugged and said yes. I talked to my wife who had her appointment the week prior to find out that since it was covered for her, they charged the insurance for the full x-rays, but that when the hygienist came in, she even commented that it was odd that my wife was ordered the full x-rays but the assistant didn't do them. You can bet they charged the insurance for it though. They even surprised my wife with a charge for fluoride as she attempted to check out, saying insurance wouldn't cover it and two weeks later called back and said whoops, they did cover it. They are there to rake in the money, and their preferred customers have the pocketbook to not question all the extra charges they try to heap on you. I am glad that I walked out despite the waste of my time and we will not be back.

Absolutely perfect dentist! You will not find a happier and more positive place to make you feel right at home. My husband and I happily drive 45 minutes every teeth cleaning just because it is the best experience we have ever had and don't want to even try anywhere else. Thank you Elevated Smiles!

Awesome place! Very professional and the staff is friendly and easy to talk to. I had a root canal here and several cleanings (been going since 2019). Great quality service, the crown that was places is still holding strong with no issues. One thing I really appreciate is that they explain everything! They also break down the information in a way that makes it easy to make an informed decision. Thank you too all the staff here!

So i haven't been to a dentist since i was 16 after a terrible experience with western dental. I recently visited Elevated Smile to get much needed dental work done and must i say BEST DENTIST EVER!!!! Not only were they super gentle they were understanding of my fear and made me feel very comfortable. They also helped me set up a payment plan that was easy for me to make reasonable payments to cover the cost. They have amazing staff and the dentist that i saw Tina Saw was a so sweet. She told me every that was wrong with my mouth and didn't give me the run around and we made a plan together to get my mouth to the healthy state that i want it to be. I will definitely be a returning patient to this dimond in the ruff.

Fantastic team and facility. As a hockey player, naturally I've lost some teeth along the way. Elevated Smiles has certainly fixed me up, getting the teeth in much better condition. Would highly recommend to others looking for dental care.

Amazing experience at Elevated Smiles! May was my hygienist, and Dr. Luu looked at my teeth. Both of them were friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I asked Dr. Luu about some of my old amalgam fillings, and he said, "Let's not try and fix what's not broken." I LOVE that philosophy! He said if my fillings were ever bothering me, then he'd be happy to help me fix them. But I love his conservative approach to dentistry. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me anything; both Dr Luu & May were genuinely treating me as if I were their family member. Wonderful experience! Can't wait for my next cleaning!
