Dr. Rodgers graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then studied dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry (formerly Baylor College of Dentistry) in Dallas, TX where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree along with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences. She received multiple academic awards and was inducted into the dental honor society. Upon completion of her dental and research training, Dr. Rodgers earned a Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where she was elected as Chief Resident.
Dr. Rodgers then completed a craniofacial fellowship at Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston, Texas. As a member of the cleft and craniofacial team Dr. Rodgers treated patients born with a variety of facial abnormalities including, cleft lip and palate, hemifacial microsomia, Crouzon Syndrome, Pierre Robin, and a variety of other abnormalities.
Besides leading her own practice, Dr. Rodgers participated as a faculty member at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston teaching orthodontic residents. As a lifelong learner, she enjoys staying at the forefront of orthodontics and taking continuing education courses while being an active member of the dental/orthodontic community.
Dr. Rodgers was born in Brighton, England and lived there until she was 16 years old. Dr. Rodgers and her husband, Tyler, are blessed with two boys, Noah and Liam, and 2 Siberian Husky fur-babies, Rocket and Remi. Dr. Rodgers is very excited to be serving the Reno/Sparks community.
When shes not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Rodgers enjoys spending time with her family exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping and travelling. She and her husband are also car enthusiasts and enjoy auto racing and car events.
Jen has joined our team with 7 years of experience in the field of dentistry and orthodontics. She loves making lasting relationships with our team members and patients. She takes pride in her ability to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience at Elevated Orthodontics. Her smile, sense of humor and warm spirit will make you feel right at home.
Fun Fact: Jen was born and raised in Alaska! She has also lived in Italy and Northern Virginia before moving to the Reno/Sparks area. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and most of all her son, Jack, and Mastiff/Staffordshire Terrier mix Banner.
Leslie has a very friendly personality and is fully bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. She is originally from Chicago, but relocated to Reno when she was very young so considers herself a Reno-native.
Joanna is originally from Dayton, NV and moved to Reno 2 years ago. She received a certification in dental assisting, and is currently attending Truckee Meadows Community College to obtain her Associates degree of applied sciences in dental assisting.

With Dr. Rodgers, you never have to worry about a one-size-fits-all approach to your orthodontic care her all-inclusive treatment plan will be customized specifically to your orthodontic needs and lifestyle. We dont just straighten your teeth we also help you achieve a healthy, functional bite that will last you a lifetime!
A big part of our job on your first visit is to determine what treatment is necessary to correct any problems we may find and whether we should begin treatment now, or wait until a later date. Our visit starts by taking a set of photographs and radiographic (x-ray) images. These enable us to see whats going on above and also underneath the gums: the position and growth of your bones and joints, and if there are teeth that are still below the gum line that we cant see in your mouth just yet.
After that, its time for the evaluation! Dr. Rodgers will carefully look at the photos and x-rays, and perform a thorough examination inside your mouth. Besides looking in the mouth, we may also ask questions, such as whether the jaws make noise when the mouth is opening or closing, or if there are any problems chewing or swallowing. Taken together, this information will allow us to make a proper diagnosis and finalize our treatment plan.
Following the exam, we may tell you that things are just fine or, we may recommend treatment. Treatment might begin on the same day or at a later time, depending on the developmental stage of the teeth and jaws.

I love taking my kids to this office! The orthodontist is extremely talented and knowledgeable and the staff is very well trained and helpful. They even helped me fix a problem caused by a different orthodontist and I am so grateful for their help! Appointments always seem to run smoothly. I've taken my kids to both locations now and each facility is super clean and it's evident the standards of care are high. Elevated Orthodontics is definitely deserving of 5 stars!

Dr. Rodgers, Jennifer, and the rest of the staff at Elevated Orthodontics immediately made my 13 year-old (and me) feel welcomed and at ease. The doctor and staff are adept in demonstrating their professional expertise while at the same time balancing that with a personal touch that keeps the office environment from feeling overly clinical or cold. Their environment has a warm feeling, thanks to their sunny dispositions and positive attitudes. Regardless of how busy they may be, we have never felt rushed or as though they don't have time for us; they make us feel as though we are the only patients there. They take care to ensure my daughter is comfortable, ask her if she has any questions or concerns, and even remember the activities in which she's currently engaged (sports and such)! I wouldn't even entertain the idea of taking her to any other orthodontist. Sigh...I wish Dr. Rodgers and her staff had been around when I went through braces. Thank you, Dr. Rodgers and team - you're the best!

Absolutely amazing. Dr Rodgers was an amazingly caring and concerned orthodontist who was willing to take on my sons case, which was quite complicated. She made him super comfortable and he wants to go back. I have told everyone I've talked to about her amazing bedside manner and sweet attitude.

From my very first visit I have felt welcomed, comfortable, and supported! I have never experienced such amazing service and atmosphere. All of the ladies here are knowledgeable, personable, and friendly! I have never enjoyed anything to do with dental work, but I look forward to seeing them! The best period!! One appointment (unplanned) I had to bring my two year old and my 5 month old! I was so nervous but the stuff came to my rescue. They entertained my 2 year old and we all know what task that is and Jenn pushed my baby around until he fell asleep! Dr. Rodgers has truly elevated my confidence and my smile! The support that I have alway felt from her is unmatched by any doctor I have ever had! Invisalign has returned my ability to smile big and laugh out loud! I'm moving out of state soon and these group of ladies will truly be missed!! Highly recommend!!!
