Dr. Louai Salaita joined the Elements Dental team in 2017 as the first prosthodontist in Johnstown, Ohio. This makes Elements Dental one of the few practices in central Ohio with a prosthodontist on staff. A prosthodontist is a dentist who undergoes an additional three years of specialized training after dental school, focusing on the customized restoration and replacement of teeth.
Following dental school, Dr. Salaita completed his specialty training in prosthodontics at The Ohio State University, where he trained with internationally renowned dentists Dr. Wayne Campagni and Dr. Edwin McGlumphy. Dr. Salaita had the honor of being named Chief Resident in his third year of training.
After graduation Dr. Salaita was the director of the denture clinic, crown and bridge clinic, as well as the implant clinic at Ohio State University School of Dentistry before transitioning full time to private practice. He has extensive experience and has successfully completed thousands of crown and bridge, denture, and implant procedures. His experience and knowledge placing and restoring dental implants has made him a sought out speaker to dentists and dental specialists, and he has lectured around the nation.
Dr. Salaita's research in dental implants has been published in prestigious journals, including the world's most read journal in prosthodontics, The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Clinically, Dr. Salaita's passions include cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, implant dentures and smile makeovers. As a self-admitted dental-phobe, his philosophy has always been to create personalized treatment plans that fit the specific needs of each patient in the most gentle and caring way possible. Dr. Salaita lives in Westerville with his wife Dr. Rashelle Salaita, an orthodontist practicing in Westerville, as well as his daughter Evelyn and son Victor.

Elements gave me one of the best dental experiences EVER!!! Dr.Ellen and Joe were very professional and had a quality job done in no time. Shelly and Emily made me feel right at home and had my teeth cleaned and feeling fresh. Brea did an amazing job getting me checked in and setting up my next appointment. And everyone else in the office was so nice from waves and smile to saying Hello in passing. Overall 10/10 will be returning future work!!!

If you have bad dental anxiety like I do, I strongly encourage you to go to Elements Dental. I've left a lot of dentist for not showing a ton of care towards their patients with heightened anxiety. As soon as I expressed my worries, they did everything they could to make me feel comfortable such as what I may need the day of and walking me through my procedures step by step. This is definitely a dentist you don't want to pass up!

I had my teeth cleaned at Elements with Shellie. Everyone I encountered were friendly and kind from Delaney and Brea who checked me in to Mckenzie who took my x-rays. Shellie always takes her time and explains if there are any issues and what can be done to fix it. Always a great experience.

Never much of a constant dental visit person. I only went 3 times between ages 18-55. Everyone at Elements has been wonderful, we are gradually getting things back to where they should be. I wouldn't advise any one go that few times in 37 years, but they don't push you. They let you go at your own pace

I missed my cleaning at the beginning of the year because of a death in the family I only wanted a cleaning. They would not clean my teeth. Said I had to do a deep cleaning. Had one last year. Really I need another one. Going somewhere else to get my cleaning.
