Dr. Rebecca Barnes has been a life-long resident of Northeast Ohio, and as a young girl always wanted to become a dentist. In early 2013, her longtime vision of creating her own practice became a reality. She had long dreamed of creating a patient experience that focused not only on top-notch dental care, but an amazing experience for each of her patients. Elegant Dentistry shares her passion and love for dentistry.
Dr. Barnes received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine, where she excelled and later became an associate clinical professor. While at Case, Dr. Barnes met her husband Steve, who is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the area. Together in 2012, they welcomed the arrival of their daughter Elin, and in 2013 welcomed their son, William. In her spare time, Dr. Barnes enjoys CrossFit, distance running and spending time with her family. Recently, Dr. Barnes and her husband ran the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as well as various other half marathons and local running races. Most of all, she loves being a Mother, Wife and Dentist!

Elegant Dentistry far exceed performance of every dentist that has treated me over past 40 years. My teeth are cleaner than they have ever been, my gums are healthier than they have ever been, and I have learned more about a healthy mouth than ever before. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and they go the extra mile to make me comfortable and to work with my crazy schedule. This was the best dental cleaning I've ever had. Nina and Dr. Barnes were both extremely knowledgeable and professional. The practice is equipped with imaging instruments that allow you to see exactly what the dentist does. They provided me with personalized explanations and recommendations for taking care of my teeth which has made an immediate difference. Highly recommended

Best Dentist on the planet !! I've been with Dr.Barnes for over a decade, the level of care that her and her staff put into every interaction is phenomenal. I was terrified of the dentist and didn't go from age 17 - 28, due to bad past experiences. My mouth was the hot mess express when I met her. She's been so amazing with me, I drive 40 minutes out of my way just to stay with her! I seriously cannot say enough incredible things about her, her staff, her professionalism, hands down the best! Thank you for always treating me like royalty!

Elegant Dentistry is exactly as named. People with warmth and grace introduce themselves and are kind in their approach. Kayla the dental hygienist was knowledgeable and shared information thoroughly always working to assure I understood. Dr. Barnes listened to my concerns and shared thoughts of a plan while also taking time to carefully assess what needed to be done in the future. I am grateful and I am so impressed! I feel that Dr Barnes has my best interest at heart which means so much to me.
