Dr. Nabavi is our leading general dentist at Elegant Dental Care. After earning his Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry at UMBC, he attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he completed his dental education in 2010. He graduated with honors and received several awards including Edgar J Jacques Memorial Award for excellent achievement in oral surgery.
After graduating from the dental school, Dr. Nabavi completed his general practice residency program at the Baltimore Veterans Affair Medical Center, where he received advanced training in surgical extractions, implants surgeries and restorations, root canal therapy, crown and bridges, removable dentures and hospital based dentistry for patients with dental phobia.
Dr. Nabavis philosophy is to deliver the best quality care to his patients. For this reason, he has been constantly taking continuing education courses in the latest advancements in dentistry, so he can offer the best treatments for his patients. Dr. Nabavi currently serves as a delegate for Maryland State Dental Association reviewing legislations that relates to Oral Health and the profession of dentistry. Dr. Nabavi strongly believes in community service and has participated in Mission of Mercy for several years by providing free dental services to those in need. He also works with Angels Against Domestic Violence by sponsoring their annual events and treating the victims of domestic violence free of charge.
