Dr. K. George Elassal originally received his degree in dentistry from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt. After graduating, he remained at the university as an instructor in dentistry. He also worked as an associate at a dental office. This office did both general dentistry and orthodontics, allowing Dr. Elassal to be active in both fields and heightening his interest in orthodontics.
In 1978, Dr. Elassal moved to the United States to study orthodontics at the University of Illinois. After his studies in Chicago, he received his D.D.S. degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1984, the Elassal family relocated to South Oklahoma City and have been here ever since. Dr. Elassal is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Elassal was originally drawn to Oklahoma because he believed it would be a good place to raise a family. Above all else he likes to spend time with his wife, three children, and four grandchildren. Dr. Elassal also enjoys reading, traveling, hunting and a wide range of outdoor activities.
Jill has been with our team since 2019 and comes to our team with 18 years of experience in the dental field. She is certified in coronal polishing and radiation. When not at the office she enjoys spending time with her 2 children and watching her son play football.
Ashley is our financial and insurance coordinator. She makes it her top priority to ensure our patients financial and insurance needs are taken care of. Ashley has been part of our team since 2007. She is certified in coronal polishing and radiation. Ashley enjoys playing with her daughters, Olivia and Randi, gardening and playing with her three dogs. She and her husband, Jason, are avid outdoorsmen. They enjoy hunting and fishing together.
Kim has been with Dr. Elassal since 2009 and is the Patient Coordinator. She received her training from Moore Norman Technology center and graduated in 2009 with a CDA. Kim is certified in coronal polishing, radiation, nitrous oxide and sealant placement. Kim loves watching OKC Thunder and OU play. When not at work, Kim loves camping and spending time with her family.
Lisa has been an orthodontic assistant since 1998. She has been with our team since 2012. Lisa enjoys getting to know our patients and she says Watching the smile transformation process firsthand is what fuels my passion for dentistry! She is certified in coronal polishing and radiation. Lisa enjoys cooking, gardening, and loves laughing! America's Funniest Home Videos is her favorite TV show!
Janice has been with Elassal Orthodontics since 1994. She was a clinical orthodontic assistant. She left for four years due to her family being stationed in Germany. Janice returned in 2002 from Germany and continued assisting until 2016 when her main focus became ordering and Inventory. When not working, Janice enjoys sewing and decorative painting, but her most favorite activity is face timing with her grandchildren in Wyoming.
Jerra has been with Dr. Elassal since 1995. She is our lab technician and part of our clinical assistant team. Jerra is certified in coronal polishing and radiation. When not working, she loves to ride her Harley, bake, plant flowers, and work in the yard. She has three daughters and six grandchildren. Jerra loves volunteering in the Clothes Closet at her church.
Patti is our lab technician and has been a part of the team since 2014. She had 15 years of experience of working, prior to taking time off to raise her two children. We are very fortunate that she decided to return to work in September 2014. Patti enjoys watching her daughter run track and having free time to do other things.
Fernanda has been working in the dental field for 2 years. She graduated from Platt College with her coronal polishing and radiation certifications. She has two children, loves spending time with her family.Fernanda also loves to go to the theater and enjoys shopping.
Tybreesha graduated from Oklahoma City Dental Assistant School in 2021. She has her radiation protection and safety certification. She also has her associates degree and is working to complete her bachelors. Tybreesha enjoys spending time with her daughter Aliyah and shopping in her free time.

Being a dental assistant myself it's hard to come in with my daughter, but when I do Dr. Elassal takes his time and goes over everything with me. I am so thankful for his experience and knowledge.

Dr. Elassal has installed palatal expanders for both of our children, and we couldn't be happier with the work he does. Dr. Elassal is great with kids, and is able to easily put them at ease and make them feel comfortable. Our kids are always excited to visit Dr. Elassal. Everyone in the office is highly professional, friendly, and skilled. They accept most insurance, and they're happy to answer any questions we have. It's always a joy to hear one of Dr. Elassal's stories about his travels, hunting trips, and family. The kids always love playing plinko and getting to pick a prize from one of the toy chests. The kids also earn coins or tokens during visits by meeting certain criteria, and are able to save them up in exchange for various items. We highly recommend Dr. Elassal for all of your Orthodontic needs.

Dr. Elassal is AMAZING! I have struggled with TMJ for 30 years, spent lots and lots of money on various orthotic appliances. Dr. Elassal is so caring and really wants to work with his patients on what is best and affordable for them. In addition to his own treatment plan for me, he also referred me to a structural DO and together they have worked to make my jaw better than it has been for 30 years, and at a much more affordable cost. Dr. Elassal is truly a blessing in my life!!

The staff are very professional and accommodating, as is Dr. Elassal. The problem is that they make you sign a waiver stating that if you contract COVID there, you will not hold them responsible. You are required to sign to receive care. Then when you get there, you realize 1) they do not have a mask policy and no one but the doctor and assistant wear masks, and 2) it's an open-air office. You're in a chair an arm's length from the next patient in their chair. Everyone who came with patients (parents etc.) is unmasked, all in the same open-air area. I live with someone who is extremely vulnerable. When I explained this, they tried to give me a place that was farther away from all the unmasked people. They did do everything they could to try to accommodate me, except ask their patients and visitors to wear masks. When I asked about this, I was told "there's nothing we can do about that." Every other healthcare facility I go to requires masks, so I'm not sure how instituting a mask policy feels so impossible for them. Again, they're very nice people, but if you're concerned about getting COVID or spreading it to a vulnerable person, go elsewhere.

I've recently started treatment for TMJ related symptoms and bad bite . Dr. Elassal is so kind and caring. He takes time to listen and never rushes you out. He is confident in his findings. I'm really looking forward for the treatment to work well. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable too. Kim answers all my questions patiently whenever I call. I've never met a Doctor like Dr. Elassal who can put you at ease in an instant.God bless him his staff and his practice.

I had TMJ issues for about 3 years. It got worse over time. I was having so much pain and discomfort, extreme migraines, my jaw was locking all the time, I was clinching my teeth during the day and while I was sleeping. My dentist recommended me over to Elassal Orthodonics, he told me he has known Dr. Elassal for years and he actually helped him out with some issues he was having. From the very beginning they made me feel welcomed. The receptionist is so sweet along with all the staff. I honestly had no hope to get my TMJ issues fixed. After talking with Dr. Elassal, he gave me some options and his expert advice on what was the best option for me. I was skeptical, I won't lie.. it just didn't seem realistic to me that it would fix my problem. Well I was EXTREMELY proven wrong. I am finally done with my treatments and I have ZERO migraines, my bite is adjusted, the clinching is gone. (I have high anxiety so I tend to clinch when stressed or bite my cheek lol but that's just personal, especially since i'm in school) It has gone away though. He fixed my issues in a couple of months rather than what would have taken years if I would've gone a different route. Also - they are so flexible. I don't even remember how many times I had to reschedule my appointments because something came up with school or work. They never made it seem like an issue and always super helpful. It's very clean and a relaxed environment. I am more than satisfied with Dr. Elassal's work and it was worth the money I paid. Thank you so much for helping me out.

I have had TMJ for a little over 10 years and no one has been able to do anything to relieve the pain that I have had. I saw Dr. Elassal and he set up a plan of treatment that I had never heard of before. He was kind and confident of what he was doing every time I saw him though. After seeing him three or four times, I was not convinced that it would work. However the treatment actually ended up working and now I do not have to live with this pain anymore!! I would definitely recommend going to see Dr. Elassal! He and his staff are very kind, helpful and welcoming. They took the time to sit down with me, explain everything and answer all of my questions. I had a very hard schedule to work with as well and the receptionist at the front was patient and accommodating every time too.

Great staff! Always smiling and friendly! Will be sad to leave them as my family and I move to Florida! Dr E is a professional to the max. He knows what he is talking about and what he is doing. He fully explains the process every step of the way so there is no confusion. I recommend this to anyone requiring braces, TMJ help! The best in OKC!!!!

4 of our children have seen Dr. Elassal for orthodontic work. Our last child had a very complex case where she ended up having jaw surgery. Dr Elassal recommended a wonderful surgeon and then did all of the follow up work. He is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. We have enjoyed his office staff as well! Everyone was so kind and professional! They (including Dr. Elassal) always asked the kids how school was going and how they were enjoying their extracurricular activities! They all took notice and remembered what each child was involved in! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Elassal!

I went to Dr. Elassal about six months ago for tmj and i thought a lot about making this review, but if it can help other people like me save money, then so what. I'll do it. I went in there with the doctor promising to feel better after the first couple procedures. The procedure was to shave down my teeth to relieve pressure and he said after the first session I should have felt fine which I didn't. The next day my whole face was swollen and very sore. This continued for about six times. The fourth time I actually felt good about my bite and I felt it was finally adjusted, but he STILL shaved more enamel down! I finally went to an actual tmj specialist in Arkansas and after telling him my story and doing several tests, he told me all of this was coming from my neck! When I told him about Dr. Elassal shaving down my teeth AND CANINE, he was furious! He said as a so called "professional" he shouldn't have touched my canines at all. All of this enamel was being lost by his ignorance of not losing a patient. Once I never went back, I still kept getting calls and reminders to schedule an appointment. I will never be returning from this horrible experience of losing all that enamel that I will never be able to restore. If you have tmj, look into other options. I know most "specialists" think shaving down teeth is the problem solver, but in most cases it's not that. You might need a chiropractor and further testing like I did.

If ever you are in need of an Orthodontist, especially for TMJ issues, call Dr Elassal. I am so happy my dentist, Dr Elie, referred me to him. Dr Elassal and his staff were very friendly, kind and caring. Dr Elassal is very knowledgeable and loves the gift he's been given to help others. I've suffered from migraines worsened by my teeth grinding for 20+ years. Thanks to Dr. Elassal, I now have much needed relief through conservative treatment. So often you find a doctor that either knows what they're doing or has a really great bedside manner. Dr. Elassal is the rare unicorn with the best of both worlds. While his competition is offering invisalign, surgery, and/or other costly and invasive procedures; Dr. Elassal has the experience, training, compassion, and tenacity to offer a much more conservative and cost effective form of treatment. The icing on the cake is his office staff. Everyone from the front office to billing to the dental assistants and lab are friendly, upbeat, caring, and willing to help as needed. Honestly, a five star rating and thank you does not suffice for the relief that Dr. Elassal has given me nor the kindness of him and his staff in a world and time filled with so much hate.

I was referred to Dr. Elassal after the right side of my face swelled up from intense and painful TMJ issues. After a few equilibration appointments, my bite is completely every and my jaw feels 100% better. So relieved!
