Dr. Pedram Malek is originally from San Jose, California. After earning his baccalaureate of science degree in biology with a concentration in physiology, he worked as a research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry for a few years. Dr. Malek then continued his educational journey at one of the top dental schools in the nation, the University of California, San Francisco. Upon graduation, Dr. Malek practiced dentistry in California for many years before moving across the country to North Carolina. Dr. Malek has devoted many hours to continuing education in order to stay on top of his craft. He enjoys getting to know his patients and building long-lasting relationships with them. He is a big advocate of preventative dentistry. When he is not attending to his patients' needs, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their children. He is an avid soccer player. He also enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and fitness.

These guys are the real deal! Especially if you're scared to go to the dentist. They were very gentle and explained everything I needed to know and what they were going to do to where I understood it. Got to say this is probably the best dentist I've ever gone to! And thank you for all you do!

Super nice and professional staff, comfortable surroundings and CLEAN!!! I was not rushed, they listened to my concerns and acted upon them. Definitely would recommend them to anyone!!

Dr Malek is super nice! He did a lot of work on me the other day and he was super nice and willing to work with me financially. He is even going to be doing an implant tooth for me. He is in my network which is saving me a ton of money

I used Dr Heard prior to her retirement and frankly wasn't sure what to expect on my first visit under new ownership. Dr Malek has great people skills, was very thorough in his exam, spoke in language i understood and frankly put together solutions i could and did agree too. His staff are also friendly and very thorough as well. Great practice in my opinion.

Dr. Elan took over a great practice and has done great things since to improve upon what was already in place. New chair's, equipment, staff, etc all new! The new hygienist, Alexa, is wonderful and that's coming from someone who's wife was a hygienist! Painless dentistry at it finest at fair prices. No recommendations for non-emergency services. Just what you need now to keep your mouth healthy! Don't look any farther if you're looking for a great dental practice!

My experiences have been good Always hard adjusting to a new dentist after many years with the old one but Dr Malek and Alexa are very nice and doing a good job.

Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. My hygienist was very professional and friendly and did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. Dr Malek was very informative and reviewed all my X-rays and checked possible problem areas. I would recommend Elan Dentistry to everyone!
