As a young black client in a predominantly white neighborhood , I was treated with respect and care, very professional and patience staff with affordable prices. What ever you need done they can assist you. Happy client honest review.

Was in horrible pain they instantly got me a same Day visit and was in and out in an hour, my dentist was amazing , left feeling great with no after pain ! and will Forsure be going back !

I put a deposit down for some work to be done. I've never had a dentist ask for a deposit until this visit. I had to move out of state shortly after I paid and they have not sent me my money back after repeated attempts to get a refund.

Tried to get my teeth cleaned but they wanted to upcharge me with an $800 deep clean because it was my first visit. I asked for a regular clean and they declined. I walked out of the place and get a call telling me they changed their minds and will clean my teeth. They still gave me a deep clean when all I wanted was regular cleaning. So unprofessional and very scammy. Dentist is nice enough though.

My interaction with the dentist and her team was excellent. She took her time trying to calm me down and was really gentle with me. The staff was quite helpful and readily available. She is really competent, takes the time to explain what has to be done, and offers insightful counsel. Finding a good dentist for your dental issue is not simple. I heartily urge everyone I know to use their dental services!

I should have read the reviews before I go visit. Just thought is a Neighborhood dentist, going for thr convenience. But it was such a horrible and shocking experience. The dentist told me I have 5 cavities and need deep cleaning for total about 6k. I got a 2nd opinion that I don't have any cavity!!! Thank goodness

Dr. Sergei has been my dentist and having oral surgery with an eventual lower plate using my implants already done previously. I especially enjoy this dentist as we are on the same page when it comes to my dental issues and needs for a future final lower plate. He is gentle and well versed in doing the surgery. He has completed a crown last week and I was 100% happy. Prices are good and they have many ways of paying including financial help. I am excited to see the end result and I am grateful to the employees and staff that have handled my care for a long time. I am the worst patient ever and so writing a positive review means a lot!!

This place is horrible. I went here for dental services requiring 5 crowns. Not only is the office WAY over priced the dentist had horrible patient skills. During my first appointment he did not even introduce himself just went straight to work. During my second appointment he yelled at me and brought me to tears after his awful communication skills were unclear and I didn't bite down correctly for the mold. His words were bite down with your back teeth not your front teeth. I'm not even sure how you do that. He refused to give me a break after 3 hours in the chair. He never apologized and I never saw him again.. He had the dental techs finish the job. I was scheduled for root canal that I didn't need . When I showed up for that appointment I waited 1 hour and the dentist never showed. At that point I asked for a refund. I never received the 5 crowns and left with 3 temporary crowns and 2 temp fillings. While they did provide a partial refund the still billed my insurance for 5 crowns that I never received. I switched to El Segundo Beautiful smiles and could not be happier other than having to pay twice for 5 crowns. Dunny thing is that the new dentist office had received patients from El Segundo Modern Dentistry who were also not happy with the service.

Beware at this place!!!!!!!! The "positive" ratings provided seem very fake. Do not come here, I would give them a 0 if I could. Where to begin with this place. 1) I arrived and the person who was taking my x-rays would not clean the machinery before/ and after using it letting her dirty gloves touch everything without providing a thorough clean. 2.) red flag #2 the dentist that I saw was not the dentist that I thought would treat me, they are not the owner ( I didn't realize this until afterwards) 3.) I was told I had 3 cavities ( I went to the dentist a few months previously and I was told I had zero cavities) 4.) the dentist spent nearly 2 hrs doing the fillings and I left with an insane amount of pain, being a person who regularly goes to the dentist I have never experienced such pain, I left with my mouth bleeding and still haven't been able to eat after 4 days that I went in. I had to ask for gauze because they didn't even provide me anything for my mouth. I was supposed to go in 2 wks later for a ceramic fill, but after seeing what I experienced and still experiencing I canceled the appointment. Guess what they did next? they had actually charged me for that already. A nearly $400 charge for something they didn't do to me and nearly $1000 charge on my insurance. After speaking with them they told me they would provide a refund only if I sign their "agreement form. " This is where it gets good... It's almost ridiculous that they think people don't know how to read and that people don't know basic rights. In short the "agreement" they gave me stated that when I signed their document that "I agree to remain confidential" and cannot post negative reviews on any social media platform including this one (that's why you don't see many negative reviews right?) and that I agree to hold them unaccountable for any wrongdoing on their end etc... Considering they are the ones who are basically stealing money from me and my insurance where does all the nonsense on their said "agreement" come from? (keep in mind they willingly charged themselves for something that had not been done yet) Please people, know your rights, you don't have to sign something you don't want to and if you don't want treatment at any point you can refuse it. I refused the second portion of the treatment after I realized they didn't do a good job and now for life my teeth may be severely damaged. As of April 11th 2022 I have yet to receive a proper response from them, but as I am writing this message I hope they can take a glance and respond. If you have any communications with these people make sure you keep all documents that you sign and to look at what you sign and if at any point they did something you feel like it was wrongfully done know that you can REPORT a dentist to the CALIFORNIA BOARD OF DENTISTRY. Again if you read this far please look elsewhere ( keep in mind they are a large company with more offices, I would make the assumption that they are approximately equally bad so I would avoid them as well). Am so glad I was able to find a dentist that I would recommend.. the entire staff is awesome !!! Had a root canal done it was painless did something other work overall am very satisfied !!! Thank you El Segundo Modern Dentist !!

Very pleasant experience all around! I hate needles personally, but they were very patient & made I was comfortable to keep going with the procedure! 10/10 would recommend
