Kimberly is our Office Manager, Registered Dental Assistant, and Registered Nurse. Kimberly prepares patients and assists in IV sedation cases, and helps the day to day operations of the office run smoothly. Mom of Dr. Ben and Dr. Austin, grandma to 9, and an accomplished pie maker!
Patient Care Coordinator and Dental Assistant. You will see her smiling face as you walk in our office. She grew up in small town Willows, California, and is a mom to 3 dogs and 2 cats. She recently became a new homeowner! Our resident athlete, she played college basketball and volleyball. We love having Cathy as a member of our team!
One of our Patient Care Coordinators, Mindy greets you when you walk in our door. She is very artistic, and loves to spend her spare time crafting or painting. Her favorite place to vacation is Hawaii, and she loves beach time. She is a mom to one son and two dogs.
Registered Dental Hygienist, Lissie enjoys hanging out with her 5 kids and husband when she is not cleaning teeth. Her absolute happy place is on the trails running or bike riding with the kids. She enjoys laughing, jet skiing, horseback riding, learning, and quality time with family and friends. She feels so blessed to live in such a beautiful area.
Registered Dental Hygienist, Caitlyn has an 8 year old son, a 5 year old daughter, and a chocolate lab named Oakley. When not cleaning teeth, she enjoys being on the water with her family, baking, and exercising so she can bake more.
Registered Dental Hygienist, Julie is passionate about inspiring health through dental prevention and loves getting to know each patient. She worked with an amazing cosmetic team in Beverly Hills in the 90's, was part of a practice that specialized in TMD, and worked with an elite Periodontal group in Washington DC in the early 2000s. She has been living in and exploring Northern California since 2011. She loves spending time with family and friends, enjoys reading, and is passionate about continuing education.
When Marci isn't in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and two daughters, Lauren and Leah. She also has a very energetic and spoiled labradoodle, Belle, who loves to go on walks. When she does get those few rare moments to herself, she loves to go on runs, do anything crafty, and work in her yard. Marci feels so blessed to be a part of the amazing team here at El Dorado Hills Dental!
Dr. Austin Cope and his wife, Lacey, have 4 children, two boys and two girls. Dr. Austin graduated from Brigham Young University, then received his dental degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. During his time in dental school, he was nominated for training of clinical skills for the new dental students in surgical technique. He volunteered at the Cleveland Free Clinic providing esthetic fillings and surgery to the less advantaged. After dental school, he received further training in implantology and is certified from the California Implant Institute in advanced level implant placement. After owning his own practice in Sparks, NV, providing cosmetic and family dentistry, he has returned home with his family to settle in his hometown of El Dorado Hills.
Dr. Ben Cope earned his D.D.S. from Case Western University in Ohio where he founded a humanitarian dental outreach to Peru, eventually serving hundreds of locals. After graduation, Dr. Ben completed a residency at the University of Utah where he received advanced training in placing implants, IV sedation, dental management for the disabled, as well as cosmetic and family dentistry. Since then, Dr. Ben has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education and training to become an Associate Diplomat of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Best dentistry in Eldorado hills by far, They were quick to get me in, both the ladies that checked me in were really sweet and professional. Cathy gave me a quick tour and some cold water upon entry... 5 minutes later, Dr. Austin shaved and lined up a chipped tooth for me for free in the process of his assessment! and when I asked about porcelain veneers which is an expensive operation, He told me I would not need it and that they would get me taken care of in a much more cost effective way, Not your average dentist I'd say... Thank you guys. I hope you get more of the attention you deserve!

Very highly recommend this dental office. Not only are the routine cleanings done with care and precision, but the more major work, such as crowns, fillings, and implants, are incredibly awesome. The dentists are highly skilled in their practice and everyone in the office is warm, welcoming, and professional.

Dr. Ben restored my faith in dentistry. I needed work done and was beyond apprehensive after an unpleasant past experience. He genuinely cares for his patients and took every bit of time necessary to explain my treatment options and help me make an educated decision. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. They go above and beyond to service their patients. I had a sudden crack in my tooth. They worked through lunch to put in a crown and then called me within a couple of days to make sure everything was ok. They are so compassionate and thoughtful in addressing their patients needs. The entire staff is so welcoming. A great experience all around.

My wife and I moved to ElDorado Hills from San Francisco about 5 years ago. I had a great dentist in the city & was worried about finding a new one. We're very lucky to have found this fantastic team of professional, caring, gentle & highly skilled group of people in the hills. I'm actually not scared to go back and finish the work I need done. I had implants done with Ben. The experience with the dental team was great. Ben did a perfect job. I have had many compliments. I recommend El Dorado Hills Dental to anyone. I can eat again! I put on a few pounds though:-) Thanks Ben!

You'll never be more comfortable in a Dentists office! It's also very unlikely that you'll get better service, treatment and explanation of what will be best for your overall Dental health. While they don't take Medicaid/care they do offer payment options if you have decent credit. Dr. Austin Cope and his assistants were professional, courteous, and concerned with giving the best possible treatment while making sure that the procedure was as painless as possible. I was even able to watch the "Princess Bride" on a ceiling screen to distract me. If I could give more stars I would. My personal experience was that a previous quote I had gotten from another Dentist was wrong. They said I needed a root canal which would NOT have solved my problem. Dr. Cope identified that a dental implant of mine had failed some time ago and that bacteria that had gotten in was eating away at my bone. He removed the implant, eradicated the bacteria, stitched it closed and provided a much needed bridge. If I had gone to the other Dentist, I'd still be in pain because they never would have addressed the REAL issue. Needless to say, I didn't need a root canal and all of the pain is gone. Thank you Dr. You have a customer and a friend for life.

Thank you for providing such an excellent service last week, it was a very comfortable and educational experience to learn more about my dental health which was delivered in a clear, concise manner by Dr. Austin Cope :-) he was very specific in explaining each step of the processes of my examination and treatment...very impressive which created a very comfortable experience. Jessica his assistant, was very professional and extremely friendly, she radiated such a warm and pleasant energy. Mindy at the front desk took such care and extra effort (based on my back-and-forth emails with her), in obtaining additional insurance information - she was very relaxed as she juggled multiple tasks while having patients in front of her, and the interaction with Cathy who had such an extremely sunny and positive disposition was incredibly efficient during my check-out process, and was very quick in anticipating scheduling needs. Then there was the Sunday return call from Kimberly...OMG, WOW!! That goes above and way beyond great service, she actually called me on a Sunday and scheduled me right away as a new patient - in my 40 years experience with several dentists in the past, NO practice has ever called me back on a Sunday, let alone scheduled me within a couple of days as new! Needless to say, El Dorado Dental certainly exceeded my expectations! Four thumbs up from me and my husband, who I referred also...Yeah!!! Overall, El Dorado Hills Dental vibrates a positive, gentle and caring energy with an abundance of providing genuine patient service in a deliberate, thoughtful, caring pace (they don't rush you out of their office like most dental practices do and we've been to so many) - this is truly the dental office where the expression 'patient comes first' is consciously practiced, and the highest degree of professionalism is clearly demonstrated on all levels in all of the departments. Love to SMILE!!.....I just left my Dentist's office and was so happy with my new crown! It fits absolutely perfect, looks beautiful, painless and it was all done on site in approximately 2 hours....all done while sitting in a massage chair & watching a show of my choosing!!! Wonderful & friendly staff.....excellent dental work and state of the art equipment. Very happy!!!

I am a new patient if Dr. Austin. I had some damaged work I wanted replaced. He was able to fit me in and complete two appointments worth of work in one afternoon. His thoroughness found a cavity hidden by the damaged prosthesis. The office has 3d photography equipment which helped expediate the lab's production of my bridge. All in all - it was a two week turnaround. I am quite glad Dr. Cope was recommended to me.

**Highly** recommend. I was a patient here growing up. When I moved back and met my husband, I convinced him to move his two children to EDH Dental. I had taken them to another local dentist that they had been going to for a few years. That dentist seemed quick to drill and I convinced him to get a second opinion on their teeth. So happy we did. The teeth that the other denist wanted to drill are still perfectly healthy with no fillings or crowns and it has been about 8 years. Now, our 5 year old loves to go to the denist. He has never been scared at all, just SUPER excited to go. We are even able to schedule our cleanings at the same time because he is fine being a big boy and doing everything on his own. (It is super rare, he usually clings to me at most places we go) After our most recent visit he has been talking non-stop about how he wants to be a denist when he grows up. I don't foresee us ever going anywhere else!

I had a dental emergency and called in to their office early in the morning. They were very helpful and offered to see me immediately. I seen by Dr Austin Cope and with their expertise and equipped office staff, my repair work was started and completed in one visit. While in the chair, the dentist gave me the right assurances and progress updates - helping me cope with necessary time in the chair. The dental work performed was free of pain, and I was glad that they could repair, construct, and fit a permanent crown all while I was there. There is no better professional office in my opinion who is equipped with expert, state of the art dentistry and with a staff that treats the patient with extreme kindness and compassion. I am grateful.
