The youngest of four siblings, Dr. Edwin E. Yee, was born and raised in Leland, Mississippi, where he grew up working in his parents grocery store. In 1975, he graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. From there he went on to graduate from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry, in 1979, from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree, in 1983, Pete Dawson Academy 1992, and completed his Louisiana State University Continuum of Cosmetic Dentistry, Level I, Level II, Level III, in 2002, and his Medical College of Georgia Program of Implantology, in 2005, and numerous other continuing education programs every year.
An active member of the community, Dr. Edwin E. Yee is a member of Central Waterside Church on Pensacola Beach, and is an avid tennis player and enjoys the Pensacola Symphony. Dr. Yee volunteers hisservices for the St. Joseph Dental Clinic, a Dental charityproviding free dental services for the underprivileged. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association,Escambia-Santa Rosa Dental Society, Greater Pensacola, and Seattle Study Club. Past affiliationwith theAmerican Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Gulf Breeze Rotary Club, and Sertoma.
Welcome to our practice! I have been surrounded by dentistry my entire life. Growing up, my siblings and I spent many afternoons after school at the very office I now work in. While we were upstairs, doing homework and eating snacks, my parents were downstairs operating the practice. When it became time to pursue a career, I already knew I wanted to become a dentist. After attending Dental School at the University of Maryland, I was commissioned in the US Air Force and served as a general dentist for five years. Now I proudly work side by side with my father and mentor to serve our patients. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, Iti, our gorgeous baby girl, Sahana, and our two Doodles, Kona and Pippa.
Hello and welcome! It's important to me to help our team create an environment where our patients feel safe and cared for as we help them make important decisions about their health. I bring over 20 years of dental hygiene experience to our team and I am so grateful to work for two outstanding dentists who not only have excellent hands-on skills, but also have huge hearts and care greatly for our patients and our team. To our team it's not just a job, it's about taking care of our patients and providing them with the very best care we can. I'm originally from California, but after a stint in the US Air Force, I moved to the area in 1996 and have called it home since. In my free time I love spending time with friends and family, including my son, Ian and our dog, Edgar. I love to go camping, kayaking, beaching and I'm always finding new adventures.
I joined Dr Yee's practice earlier this year and I am so excited to be a part of their team. I've been practicing dental hygiene for almost five years after graduating for the Dental Hygiene program at Pensacola State College. My favorite part of my job is getting to know my patients on a personal level and having the chance to educate them on how to improve their smile. In my spare time I enjoy relaxing and spending time with my boyfriend Cody and our three dogs Titan, Kyle and Zorro.
I bring over 30 years of experience to Dr Yee's team along with my love of Dentistry. What I like most about my job is giving compassionate care to patients and educating them about their dental care and treatment needed. I am originally from New Orleans, but have been in the Penacola area for many years. In my free time I enjoy cooking, fishing, beach time and spoiling my two dogs Maggie and Beignet when I'm not spending time with my twochildren and five grandchildren.
I am so excited to be an important part of a committed , experienced group of team-players in such a quality and compassion-drive office. The best part of my job is getting to know my patients while bringing my experience and love of dentistry to the team. It is such a privilege for me to serve our community. When I'm not working, I enjoy swimming, camping and spending time with my husband, and our children and grandchildren.
Many times I am the one answering the phone, I'm checking you in and out, and I can answer any questions you have in regards to treatment plans. I'm also the one who handles your insurance and will gladly assist you with any questions you may have. I enjoy working in this office for two wonderful dentists who truly put their patients first. Our office is filled with a great staff who are all helpful and kind-hearted. When I'm not at work I am spending time with family and friends, going to the beach or traveling with my dog Chewy. I have lived in Pensacola my whole life, this is home! I love meeting new people and learning new things. I cannot wait to meet you in this office that is filled with kindness and helpful hands.

Staff was very kind and welcoming. Walked me through everything. I adored Dr. Yee. Professional, nice, honest. His office worked me into his busy schedule due to an emergent dental issue - and I had never been seen there before. My family and I will be going back for all of our routine dental care.

Dr Yee and his staff are top notch... they make you feel comfortable and always do a great job whether it's cleaning your teeth, explaining how to take care of your teeth or any type of procedure, etc. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone!

I had a dental emergency and needed a good provider that took Tricare/United Concordia. Dr. Yee was on the approved list so I called and they got me in SAME DAY! Everywhere else I called they couldn't get me in until next week or later and this was not an option due to the pain I was in. The nurses and front desk personnel were wonderful and very helpful. Everyone was so kind and understanding of my situation. Dr. Yee was very professional and also kind. The evaluation visit with an x-ray took about an hour all together. I didn't get the best news, but they took great care of me and referred me to an excellent endontist for a root canal. I already booked a cleaning with them and will be returning for a crown after my root canal. One word of warning though, they are already booked out to the end of November for cleanings so plan in advance if considering his office as your primary dentist.

Best experience today!! I know dentist are hard to go to as I waited 9 years for my cleaning but Taylor the hygienist was absolutely amazing and made me feel absolutely comfortable!!! Dr. Yee came in and was super friendly and answered every question i had!!! Will highly recommend!!!

I am so glad I found this dentist! My whole life I have had brown stains on my front teeth. It may not have been noticeable to others but I knew it was there. Every other dentist has said I need to do a cosmetic procedure that is really expensive. Dr. Yee did something else and I have never been so happy in my life to smile with my teeth showing.

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Office and dental treatment room was very clean. Ms. Peggy was so amazing! She talked me through the whole process and gave tips along the way about how to improve my oral hygiene. I have always enjoyed going to the dentist, and grateful to have found such a friendly, clean, knowledgeable place. Dr. Yee was very kind and well spoken.

I highly recommend Dr Yee! He just finished replacing all my old crowns and damaged and misshaped teeth with new crowns. For the first time that I can remember my bite is even and comfortable. I no longer have to eat on just one side because the other side doesn't meet right. And cosmetically I'm no longer self conscience of my smile. My ground down and crowded teeth now look great. Dr Yee is really an artist to make it all work and look the best. When a crown came back from the lab and it didn't fit to his satisfaction he sent it back and didn't just make do with it! Nina, who assisted on most of my teeth, and Dr Yee made a great team and worked seamlessly together. All the staff are great and pitch in for each other when an extra hand is needed. The office staff are great answering any billing and insurance questions. They all just seem happy to work there, which makes for a pleasant experience. I also appreciate that you get an appointment in a timely manner and if it's an emergency really quick. If you are looking for a dentist, look no further!

My 6 year old crown popping off was probably the best thing that could have happened!!! On a Friday night, I was flossing and my crown popped off. To be honest, I was never satisfied with this crown that ANOTHER dentist had put on. I'd had so many adjustments, that I just finally gave up and dealt with it. Dealt with it not feeling "quite right" and still had some sensitivity/discomfort chewing on that side. I avoided chewing on that side, and if by accident, I did chew, I was very careful. This is 6 years later even! So, after it popped off on a Friday, I went to see Dr. Yee that following Monday. Dr Yee's staff and hygienist who worked with me were amazing. Dr Yee took my crown (thankfully still intact!), cleaned it, adjusted it to actually fit me correctly (it was way too tight to begin with apparently!), cemented it back in, adjusted it twice and it's been amazing ever since. I am happy to report that I can chew steak and almonds and anything else hard on that side WITHOUT pain or discomfort. Dr Yee...THANK YOU a thousand times.
