A native of Edwardsville Illinois, Dr. Moody completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and obtained his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from SIU School of Dental Medicine in 2009.
Dentistry is more than a job for Dr. Beau Moody, it is truly his passion, which helps set him apart in the highly competitive field of general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Moody understands the importance of continuing education, which is why Dr. Moody has went on to receive hundreds of hours in additional postgraduate training at some of the most renowned dental educational institutions in the country.
To better support his patients, Dr. Moody completed advanced training in dental implants and bone grafting techniques. He was accepted into the world renowned training program called Implant Seminars, in San Francisco, CA. Under the direction and training of Dr. Arun Garg, Dr. Moody completed additional dental surgical training including implant dentistry, art of extracting blood, known as phlebotomy, computer-guided surgery, oral sedation, extractions and soft tissue management.
Many fearful patients will also be pleased to know that Dr. Moody has extensive training in oral and IV sedation as well as advanced cardio life support. Sedation dentistry can be implemented for a variety of dental procedures to allow for a virtually anxiety-free dental experience. Dr. Moody received his advanced sedation training through Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland under Dr. Stanley Malamed. In addition to his advanced training in dentistry and anesthesiology, Dr. Moody is dual certified in both CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Recitation) and ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support).
As a way to say thank you and give back to the community that has supported him, Dr. Moody and his wife, Elizabeth, started the Keep Calm and Brush on Program a program that offers fun filled, yet educational presentations to local Edwardsville students. He also sponsors the SIU-E Eddies Junior E Club.
Dr. Moody is a proud member of the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce and and St. Marys Parish. His dedication to the community is evidenced in his personal commitment to quality care, integrity, and leadership.
Dr. Lustig (formerly Willenborg) is originally from Effingham, IL. She attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and completed an advanced 3-year degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry. She then pursued her dental education at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, IL. Dr. Lustig currently lives in St. Louis with her husband, chocolate lab and corgi. They enjoy driving around in their golf cart and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Lustig has always enjoyed holding leadership roles that allow her to be involved with the community and helping others. She has participated in Give Kids a Smile for 6 years through SIU and SLU university. She has also gone to schools in surrounding communities to help educate and inform children about the importance of oral hygiene. Dr. Lustig is passionate about dentistry and always wants her patients to feel comfortable and informed. She looks forward to continually learning and continuing her education to provide the highest quality of dentistry to her patients. Dr. Amarins dental journey started at the University of Jordan where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS). Her love and passion for dentistry was influenced by her family who enriched the importance of care and making a true difference in peoples lives. Dr. Amarins interest in providing the highest quality of dental care encouraged her to pursue a 3-year postgraduate specialty training at the University of Maryland where she obtained her Certificate in Prosthodontics. During her residency she had advanced training in dental implants and treating simple to complex fixed and removable dental restorations for all ages. Dr. Amarin also obtained a Master of Science Degree in Biomedical sciences while completing her residency training.
Dr. Amarin values diagnosis, treatment planning, comprehensive and preventative care for her patients. She is interested in staying up to date with research to ensure her patients receive the best possible treatment outcomes.
Originally from Springfield IL, Dr. Hudson moved to the Edwardsville area to attend SIUE for both his undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees. His career choice was rooted in mentorship of his father who is also a practicing dentist back in his hometown of Springfield. His father modeled the importance of quality care alongside community involvement; thus Dr. Hudson has participated in many community services himself including Give Kids a Smile and Veterans Day Care at SIU, St. Patrick Center in St. Louis, and Rotary International.
Outside of dentistry he enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with friends, family, his girlfriend, and their adorable miniature Aussiedoodle, Benji. He is a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan, but also enjoys playing, watching, and discussing all sports in general.
Since joining Edwardsville Family Dentist Dr. Hudson has made many connections with patients. He stated that Both the staff and patients at this office truly make every day a positive experience for me and I cant be thankful enough for the opportunity to serve here.
