Dr. Andrew Lange was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., but grew up in Birmingham, Ala. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated with Honors, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in biology.
After graduating, he was accepted and enrolled at UABs School of Dentistry. I chose well when I opted to attend the UAB School of Dentistry, says Dr. Lange. It has a vast experience to offer students that prepares them for entering private practice.
Upon graduation, Dr Lange met Dr. John Rasberry of Edwards Lake Dental and learned Dr. Rasberry was looking for someone to take over his practice. Dr. Rasberry had practiced in the East Lake area of Birmingham for over 25 years before moving his practice to Trussville. After joining the practice, Dr Lange took over the practice late in 2010.
Dr. Lange is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA). He keeps up with the latest developments in dentistry, including new techniques, materials and technologies, through continuing education.
Susan is the office administrator at Edwards Lake Dental, and its her smiling face that greets patients and other visitors as they come in the door. Checking patients in, filing insurance, and streamlining patients in and out are just a few of Susans responsibilities at Edwards Lake Dental.
Hygienist Amanda Roddam has been with Edwards Lake Dental for 15 years, starting out as an assistant to Dr. Rasberry. She later completed the dental hygienist program at UABs School of Dentistry and nine-and-a-half years ago, was promoted to her present position.
Educating my patients is something I really enjoy, she says. People often dont understand that good dental health has a lot to do with maintaining their overall health, and part of my job is to help them see that.

Great staff!!! My family and I have been coming for years. Contacted Dr. Lange's office early this morning; they worked me in. They were able to give me some relief until I got some meds and follow up with a specialist.. Definitely appreciated.

I had a follow up, X-rays and cleaning done by longtime Hygienist Amanda. Dr. Langue went over my follow up and gave me options. Always free parking clean restrooms. They don't Hurt

I love this Dr. Lange and staff. My daughter has beeen going here for a while now. we found them after having a terrible experience with another dentist. That experience had my daughter terrified of the dentist. Dr. Lange is so patient, the staff are also very nice and caring as well. They will jelp you out and work with you when it comes to getting scheduled with the times you need. Every time I call they are so very polite and never have an issue with me cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. I love how very thorough they are. I also love that they take the tie to explain everything to us in detail and answer any question we may have. I would highly recommend Edwards Lake Dental to anyone and I have!

The Dr Longe and the staff was very friendly and professional. The facility was clean and they was Covid protected. Dr. Longe and his assistant made sure I was comfortable and no pain, the best part is he was quick and accurate.
