Dr. Shellie Edwards is living her dream. She opened herfamily dental practice in El Dorado Hills where she lives and is raising her family. She is a Sacramento native who is passionate about life, family and her profession. Dr. Edwards has created a gentle, caring and comfortable dental environment that patients appreciate as soon as they walk through the door. Described as approachable and honest, she focuses on patient education and preventative care.

Dr. Edwards is skilled in all aspects of dentistry. She also has a special place in her heart for children and has a tremendous amount of experience working with them. Her friendly, compassionate personality makes patients of all ages look forward to coming to the dentist.

While not at the office Dr. Edwards loves spending time with her husband and their young children. She enjoys doing anything athletic including working out and hot yoga,but especially snow skiing in Tahoe. Onrelaxing days she and her husband enjoy watching college football, the Sacramento Kings or sitting down to read a good book.

Dr. Shellie Edwards received an athletic scholarship to attend California State University, Sacramento where she excelled both as a student and an athlete. She wasa member of the Women's Rowing team and served as their team captain. In 1998 she was named a NCAA All American. Sacramento State also honored her as one of their student athletes of the year three years in a row.

To compliment her athletic accomplishments, Dr. Edwards graduated in 1998 Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Anatomy and Physiology. She continued on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of California, Los Angeles's School of Dentistry in 2002. There she excelled and graduated with honors in Esthetic, Prosthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry.

Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Edwards has committed to keeping up with the latest technologies and procedures. She is an active member of various dental organizations and attends numerous continuing education courses. She also volunteers her time to help underprivileged children receive much needed dental treatment.

Dr. Edwards is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS), Sacramento Women's Dental Society and El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce

Dr. Ryan Everhart is a local to the Sierra foothills. He grew up in Roseville, Folsom, and El Dorado Hills and it has always been his wish to return to the foothills to live, work, and play. He is so grateful now to have fulfilled his personal and professional aspirations. Dr. Everharts goal is to provide personalized care with attention to detail at every step. He strives to ensure that his patients are comfortable and feel welcomed at our office.

Dr. Everhart enjoys the variety of procedures that dentistry has to offer. He has a special interest in dental surgery, including placing dental implants andwisdom teeth extraction. In addition, Dr. Ryan loves doing cosmetic transformations using porcelain veneers, crowns, and bonding.

In his leisure time, Dr. Everhart enjoys activities with histwo sons. You can find him boating on Folsom Lake (when there is water of course!), skiing at Lake Tahoe, scuba diving, traveling, soccer, and his favorite hobby - photography. Our patients always enjoy seeing hislatest artwork in each operatory when they visit.

Dr. Everhart completed his undergraduate training at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. While at Cal Poly, he earned both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Computer Science. His Master's thesis paper explored his research on enhancing digital dental radiography and Dr. Everhart is proud to say it now sits on the shelf in the school library.

He continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He was inducted into the Tau Kappa Omega Honors Society upon graduation.Tau Kappa Omega, an honor society in dentistry, was organized at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1927 for promotion of honor and service to the alma mater. Students are admitted on the basis of ideals, scholarship and character.

Dr. Everhart maintains his skillset by enrolling ina variety ofcontinuing education courses every year. He also meets witha Spear Education Study Club every month to discuss and present challenging treatment cases to a panel of local dentists and specialists.

Dr. Everhart is a member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He is also a member of the Camlog Implant Study Club and the Sacramento chapter of The Seattle Institute Study Group. These study groups are a collaboration of distinguished local general dentists and specialists who meet regularly to present and discuss the management of difficult treatment cases.

Lisa brings a tremendous amount of experience to our team. She has been working in the dental profession for over 35 years and has spent the last 19 working with Dr. Edwards. Lisa has a solid command of the business of dentistry and played and integral part in helping Dr. Edwards open her practice. Complimenting these qualities is Lisa 's warm personality and friendly smile. She is always willing to go above and beyond to assist our patients with any questions or concerns. A resident of El Dorado Hills since 1999 and our first 'Empty Nester,' she and her husband enjoy traveling between Washington and Arizona visiting their two daughters. Many weekends are spent exploring new wineries and spending quality time with family and friends.

Justine graduated from Carrington College in 2009 with her RDA and sealant license. She has been an amazing asset to our team. She absolutely loves working with our patients and can't wait to see their smiling faces. Her son and daughter are her whole world. Justine is a football and basketball fanatic! She loves cooking and spending time with her friends and family. GO KINGS!!!

Dana has been in the dental field for 9 years beginning in an oral surgery setting. She started right out of high school as a dental receptionist which eventually lead her to receive her RDA license in 2016. She believes patient care begins as soon as you walk in the door in addition to being in the dental chair and loves to be there for her patients every step of the way! When Dana is not in the office you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her soon to be husband and of course with her fur-baby; a boxer named Buster!

Deanne is a true El Dorado County native, She has lived throughout the foothills since she was 12. She graduated Ponderosa High School then received her RDA license after completing the program at Western Career College. Her years of experience in the dental field have been a great addition to our office since she joined in 2009. She is known for her ability to make temporary crowns that rival the quality and cosmetics of our final porcelain crowns. Deanne is a very patient and sweet assistant who takes pride in her work and care to our patients. She is a very proud mother of two boys who she happily supports in their athletic accomplishments. Deanne enjoys the open outdoors and riding her own four wheeler when she is not watching her boys many sports and activities such as motorcycle racing and baseball. We are very privileged to have her as part as our dental team.

Daneillehas been with our office since we opened in February of 2006. She graduated from Union Mine High School and received her RDA license after completing the Dental Assisting Program at Western Career College in 2005. She hopes to expand her RDA license in order to focus time volunteering to help those adults in our community in need through local organizations. She very much enjoys spending time with local children during the Smiles for Kids program help annually. Daneille is an extremely competent assistant who is always going the extra mile for our patients. Her organizational skills and attention to detail help our office run smoothly. She takes pride in her work and the friendships she develops with our patients, her friendly outgoing personality makes her a great asset to our team. Daneille is a full time Mom of the happiest little girl, she is her true pride and joy. They enjoy being outdoors with friends, swimming, camping or just inside baking new recipes together.

Amber has been with our office since 2009. She started her dental career working in a pediatric office which has made her an invaluable asset for our family oriented practice. She has a love of working with the smallest patients in our practice and always gives them the explanations and nurturing environment they need. Amber is a proud motherand loves spending her time at home with her husband and 3 children.She also enjoys camping, cooking, reading, and traveling.

As a Registered Dental Assistant with close to 40 years of dental experience, Maria has enjoyed an extensive career providing patients beautiful smiles. While not in the office giving patients the best experience possible, she spends her time watching movies and taking walks with her husband as well as caring for her grandsons Joshua and Jackson.

Lani has worked in the dental field, in various capacities, for over 16 years. Lani knew from an early age she wanted to be a dental hygienist from all her wonderful childhood experiences. She does an amazing job of making her patients feel the same way while giving them an enjoyable and educational cleaning experience. Lani has a true love for dentistry and oral health that you can see in her treatment towards patients. She is so grateful to be back working in her home town. While not hard at work, Lani enjoys swimming, being outdoors in nature, yoga, traveling, and cooking.

Mary started in the dental profession in 1997 as an assistant.Her experience asa dental assistant provided her a solid understanding of restorative dentistry. She continued to build on this foundation and received her dental hygiene degree from Diablo Valley College in 2002. Maryis a highly skilled hygienist who prides herself on being meticulous while having a true concern for her patients comfort. She is also an El Dorado hillslocal who enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids. Her entire family are outdoor and sport enthusiastswho make time for travel and appreciatewhat it means to be a family. We are proud to have had Mary as part of our team for the last 9 years and look forward to many more years together.

Approximately 20 years ago Angie began her journey in the dental field while working as a dental assistant at a Periodontal Specialty office in the Bay Area. It was there that her passion for dental hygiene was forged and she went on to pursue her Bachelor's of Science in Dental Hygiene at University of Southern California. Upon receiving her diploma, she returned to her Periodontal office gaining experience and techniques for patients with more complicated oral health. After getting married and starting a family, she moved to El Dorado Hills and is happy to call it home. Since joining the practice in 2007, with her strong periodontal foundation, Angie takes great pride in her work and great joy in nurturing the relationships she's developed with her patients. Whether its Hanalei Bay, Kauai or the hills of Tuscany, Angie and her family are the happiest when traveling the world, experiencing new cultures, eating good food and spending time with great friends and family.
