Update 2022: Doctor Riggins does remarkable work! The work I had done when I posted this review is still holding up strong. I am reminded every day how thankful I am for him. Original: He is definitely my favorite doctor ever. He always cares about me as a person and as a patient. He has your best interest, and least painful method in mind. He will treat you like a family member, in a good way. If there's ever a day I have to switch dentists, it will be devastating.

Dr Riggins is simply the best! I had a tooth in the front that had shifted over the years and at times(especially photos) gave the impression that I was missing a tooth. All other dentists that I have gone to explained I would need a full set of braces. Since I am in my 60's really didn't want to do that. Four brackets and 4 months later I have my smile back. Thank you to you and your wonderful staff!

Dr. Riggins and his wonderful staff are truly the most professional and earnest dental facility. I travel over 40 minutes from my home to see him and his staff, that's how great they are! Clean, organized, courteous and efficient! Don't hesitate to try Dr. Riggins!

I recently moved to Poughkeepsie from Virginia Beach. I have had the same, incredible dentist in VA my entire life. I was very hesitant about getting a new dentist, however it wasn't realistic to drive 8 hours every time I needed to see one. I found Dr. Riggins on google, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The dental hygienist, Jenna, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Riggins is very personable and thorough. I am SO happy to be a new patient here and recommend them to all!

I moved to the Hudson River Valley from Westchester and found Dr. Riggins five years ago on the internet. He went to the Univ. of Pennsylvania dental school which I knew to be one of the best in the country so I decided to make an appt. He turned out to be a great dentist. I also needed a couple of root canals and he referred me to an excellent endodontist. (Something I learned from my mother, a nurse: good doctors refer to good doctors.) I consulted him about doing upper veneers, something I'd needed done for years and had just put off. He did a beautiful job. Can't recommend him highly enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. Riggins for almost five decades! Most of my former IBM department were also his patients. Together my wife and I have been with Dr. Riggins for at least four decades. He also treated both our sons for at least eighteen years. Besides the basics, he has personally treated us for orthodontics, root canals, implants, crowns, whitening, and bonding. All the office personnel - the receptionist, hygienist, and the dental assistants are always friendly and professional. The entire environment from the waiting room, procedure rooms, and equipment are always modern, sparkling clean, and aesthetically pleasing. As a result, the entire environment is comforting. Dr. Riggins' chairside manner is friendly, comforting, and down-to-earth. Conditions and procedures are explained in clear detail in laymen's terms. Any potential risks or complications are made clear. Dr. Riggins is adamant on phone follow-ups after major procedures and additional office visits if necessary. My wife and I would highly recommend Dr. Riggins and his family-oriented staff to anyone. We'd predict that once you meet him, you'll stay with him as he has with us.

Dr Riggins and his team are some of the most caring and compassionate people in the business. I have had several dentists that have not taken time for care nor were honest about what I need vs dont need. I truly trust Dr Riggins and team fully. If you are looking for a great dentist that takes time, is honest, and talented -- make an appt with Dr Riggins!

I've had so much dental work done, and by various dentists. Dr Riggins is the only dentist I truly trust, and his work is meticulous and has lasted much longer than other's work. He's kind and I actually enjoy going!!! Oh and his staff is amazing as well. He's the only Dentist I would ever recommend

If you want a really great dentist, in an setting where you are effectively treated with respect and kindness, then go see Doctor Riggins! I have not had a better dentist, or a better group of caring people who taking care of my health and my smile. Love them. Call them. Now. PS: Its four years after this initial review. This is still the best dentist.

Dr Riggins and his staff have taken care of our family for over 20 years. Finding a provider with knowledge and skill to treat your entire family is not easy! He takes his time, he's meticulous and will always do what is best for his patients...that's a rare find!

I have never had any problems with any of the work that he has done for me, never! He and his staff are very personable and professional. I am not a fan of pain in my mouth and can say all of my visits are always totally pain-free. Before I started coming to Dr. Riggins I used to dread any visit to a dentist. With him I don't even think about a visit as I know it will be professional and pain free. He provides state of the art care in a pain free, friendly atmosphere. He and his staff are top-notch in every category.
